Aiku was forced to be a Thomas Muller when he wanted to be Lewandowski, he wanted to be a full on striker and scoring goals, but the coach told him to work for the team and build assists, even tho he was a "9". Thats why his dream died, because his "flower" wasnt allowed to bloom. Because of that he decided to destroy every mid striker Japan builded as a Centerback, so when a good one actually appears, he protects and helps him to grow into his true potential. Also the reason why he is my fav character in the show.

Man I gotta say, I got a little emotional this episode for Aiku because all of a sudden you realize why he's been such a daddy to Sendou. I kept wondering why they were showing him being so supportive of Sendou after all his failed attempts and once it clicked in this episode I was like.... 🥺 Aiku was the real Uncle the whole time.

If you think it isagi just got his first assist with barou's goal. Since it was his pass that barou scored off since rin didnt get a touch on it, as for the others, they were all mostly rebounds, only sae has 2 assists and a goal, since rin's/nagi's goals were rebounds, and so was sae's first goals, so the only team assists in the game have been 2 from sae and 1 from isagi in just this episode, sae 3 g/a, shidou 2/a and 1 each for nagi, barou, isagi and rin, If im mixing up anything correct me.
The coach is lying to him when he says yes he can become a striker. The bad system of adults forces the young man to bury his dream. That is why Aiku changed his dream instead of becoming that already being dropped by his coach or adult systems, he wants to become the defender that destroys the strikers that are already put down by his coach. Something like “If you not gonna let me be what I want, I'm not gonna let u get what u want anyway”. That's why Aiku said he would destroy the strikers that u made this whole time. Shidou and Aiku are the only confirmed players in the flow but Niko also couldve been in the flow when defending against Shidou. he had the same eyes as Shidou n Aiku when they were in the flow.
As crazy as it sounds, not a single goal came out of an assist other than this Barou one by Isagi. Literally all were rebounds from the defense or back from Gk 😂
15:22 it’s not because isagi’s weak (not denying that he is) but deep how isagi was in the air. he jumped for the ball and had nothing to balance on so the slightest touch no matter how big or strong you are would throw you way off
I know it seems confusing but it’s because reo isn’t able to copy talent or physique, he copies skill and nagis trap is a skill not a talent so he wouldn’t be able to copy something like chigiris speed or shidous goal reflexes
