Yaas!! 😍 I am so glad that my favourite Eurovision reactors reacted to this masterpiece! 🥰 As a sucker for traditional ethnic entries in native languages, this was BY FAR my favourite from the selection, would have been in my top 3 (together with Alina Pash - apparently this is a bad year for my favourite entries 🙃🙃💀), I was literally listening to it every day, she was robbed so hard. She is singing about herself and her journey, her suffer (it's not that long ago when she was a street artist, singing on the streets of Belegrad) - that's why the name of the song is her own name. In the end, Zorja finished 3rd. The singer called Sara Jo finished 2nd with a very interesting performance and since you love the style of Maruv, I thinkg you would like this one as well 😄 And also, a fun fact for Goy - a fan of Moje 3 and Ljubav je svuda from 2013 - Sara Jo was actually one of those 3 girls (as was Nevena with Kruna in 2019) 😊
Wasn’t expecting this reaction but so glad you guys reacted to this. This was my 2nd place of the selection and I’m so sad she or Sara Jo didn’t win. This had the potential to do so well in what isn’t a very strong year. There really wouldn’t have been any other entry like this
Let me explain a couple of things: - Konstrakta not only won the televote by a landslide, but also the jury voting. She tied with one of two pre-show favourites (Sara Jo) but was first because she got more 12 points from juries than Sara Jo. Zorja was only 3rd with the juries (and with the televoters, by the way) - You can select a song for Eurovision by different kinds of selections. Serbia used the most typical one this year: when juries and televoters simply vote for a song that they like the most right now. They don't think how it will do at Eurovision, will it please some audiences (Western/Eastern/their own/etc). Just for their favourite song right now, by any reasons. Zorja and Sara Jo were pre-show favourites because of their songs in studio versions, yes. But it was enough for Konstrakta only 2 days between her semi final and the final to became popular with this song and staging in Serbia, she was in some trends, local memes, etc. People noticed the originality, 100 hidden messages really fast. That's why Konstrakta lost to Zorja in the televoting in the semi final but then won over everyone by a landslide in the final. - If you think that Zorja or someone else in their selection could've done better in Eurovision than Konstrakta could do, I wouldn't jump any conclusions like those. If you look at the previous results of Serbia at Eurovision, you will see that they always get many 12 points from Balkan region countries + Switzerland + Austria (probably, because of the diaspora)... and that's all. Serbia just doesn't really work overall, for non Balkan countries. So, Serbia usually finishes between 15th-20th not depending of what they send. For example, Kruna in 2019 (similar kind of songs to Zorja, actually) finished 18th. And it seems like the same will happen with Konstrakta and could've happened with Zorja. So, the Konstrakta's win wasn't an accident. It was just people's (and juries') choice at that moment. Without much thinking about how it will do at Eurovision and how many Eurovision fans will like it. It was just that rare case when originality won over great but usual divas' songs (Zorja and Sara Jo).
The Nevena's song Kruna wasn't like Zorja. Zorja contains the beautiful etnic elements that is unique for people's ears and it really represents Serbia. It touches deep into emotions and of top of that Zorja has a great vocal. Konstrakta is different. Her song was made to be contagious and is unique peace of art because of the music composition itself that's unique to hear. I personally don't like Konstrakta's song because of the words. It was kinda sleazy in some part. Though I wish Zorja could've been chosen for Eurovision this year because she would definitely get Serbia to better place than this Luke guy.
A little corection Konstrakta has also won the jury votes…and since you are reacting to non qualified songs you should react to Sara Jo-Muskarcina, I think it will really match yours taste. Love from Serbia 🇷🇸

I'm from Serbia and I feel the same way as you do. I'm 100% sure this would be top 10 in Turin, maybe even top 5. This was my favorite in our selection. P.s. by the way, Zorja wrote music and lyrics. She also graduated from the music academy.
this was my favorite also. in semis this song beated konstrakta. But from semi to final we found out what is all about konstrakta song and konstrakta got more votes by public than all other together. konstrakta also won by jury vote in final. Most ppl in Serbia isnt sure if konstrakta will go to final but we dont realy care, it is good song and song we will for sure remember. And you are examples of that, which means she did exelent job. It isnt important who love it and who dont we all speak about that song. You get it ?
Love this amazing song and it had such a huge potential to succeed in Eurovision😭. I have a few more recommendations to national finals bangers this year: 1. Tanxugeiras- Terra (Spain) 2. Medina- In i dimman (Sweden) 3. Bess- Ram Pam Pam (Finland) There are much more but I think you'll like those 3😄

Joy reminded me of whistle language of Greece and Turkey. In mountains they are using whistle words to talk to each other from hill to hill. There are documentaries about it on RUclips. Only few hundreds of people knows it who are originally from that areas. Please check it up. Can you imagine whistle song in Eurovision?
I will join those who suggested you should check out Sara Jo. It's right up your alley, I'd say. And one of the best performances we came up with, ever, Melfest level. When it comes to Zorja, I couldn't care less about this song.

Konstrakta won jury's voting almost identical to telephone voting, as a matter of fact for the first time first 3 places are completely aligned with jury`s and folks voting in history of Serbian Eurovision song competition. Why we sent Konstrakta is not because she mentioned any issue of medical care in Serbia (which is by the way better than in much more development countries) but because people recognized true art as well as judges. I know guys that you do not support that and that you would like to see Sara Jo or Zorja on Eurovision, and I agree only in one thing with you why this shouldn`t go to Eurovision and the reason is because Konstrakta`s song and performance is so artistic and so on another level that I would personally keep such a masterpiece selfish only for us in Serbia. I get why you might like it more than In Corpore Sano, but at the end of the day if that was to go through it would've ended up as all other powerfull female balcan ballads - 15-20 place in the final. Konstrakta also can end up there or even worse but at least her song is not something which was done like a million times before and it has a powerful message as well.

Since you decided to react to other NFs entries, I will again suggest for you to watch Roxolana - Girlzzzz from Ukraine, it's such a banger. Also please watch Elsie Bay - Death of us from Norway. It is a ballad and I LOVE it. (which is basically never the case)
We have already sent a lot of ethnic sound songs, so we know europian audience live it. Last year we sent a song with message and with groove. It was apsolutely good choise. Serbs love intelligent jokes. Thats why we are nation that so.much loves "Only fools and horses"..Also we have strong punk and alternative, underground scene such as UK . Some of serbian bands also live and play in UK such as Disciplina Kitchme.. Konstrakta was choise of that part of Serbia , alternstive and oposit to main stream culture. I know that is not your cup of tea, but there is a lot of Serbs who love alternative music all kinds. For example, if you want to understand what is Konstrakta, listen her song arranged specialy for Eurosong - Mekano feat Sonja Loncar. If you dont feel that song than Konstrakta definitely isnt your cop of tea.
I thing, if you really prefer this song to be the winning song I am convinced that you have a time travel maching in your basement and you just landed here from the 90's because it so dated. and if you really like mountain songs their is a modern way making them.

Zorja is amazing vocal and the song is so good,but we send this kind of songs a million times and this song is so Zeljko Joksimovic vibe.And we had a simillar song on ESC,Nevena Bozovic-Kruna.And we always get points from Ex Yugoslavia countries with this kind of entry.And Konstrakta got 12 points in the final from jury and televoting.
E didn't have similar song in 2019 🙄 Every person with ears can spot the difference between them. And why not Zeljko Joksimovic's vibe? He was in top 5 both times. And his songs that he wrote for Montenegro and Bosnia were also amazing.
Why she lost. It's simple! Don't sing a song and have name about oldest and forbidden believe. Everybody trying to forget or hide it through centuries. And they send what they send! It's political/religion decision. And we ended up with washing hands. Go figure! Simple as that.
Nothing wrong with it, but it sounds like an entry from a quarter of a century ago, long before Euphoria changed the game. Konstrakta means something to the locals today, and it has created a buzz throughout Europe. Still, respect for not being bullied by the mob👍
That's a matter of taste of every individual... For someone it might sound dated, for someone else (me included) it's exactly this kind of songs that we are looking for.

Please check Eli Huli version of Toy. Netta said he would win Eurovision too. He lost in the final by one point. Israeli X factor had amazing singers this year. It was the best selection of singers than any national semifinals and final.

For example, if you want to understand what is Konstrakta, listen her song arranged specialy for Eurosong - Mekano feat Sonja Loncar. If you dont feel that song than Konstrakta definitely isnt your cop of tea.
I thing, if you really prefer this song to be the winning song I am convinced that you have a time travel maching in your basement and you just landed here from the 90's because it so dated.
and if you really like mountain songs their is a modern way making them.

Zorja is amazing vocal and the song is so good,but we send this kind of songs a million times and this song is so Zeljko Joksimovic vibe.And we had a simillar song on ESC,Nevena Bozovic-Kruna.And we always get points from Ex Yugoslavia countries with this kind of entry.And Konstrakta got 12 points in the final from jury and televoting.
