"Why are you covering your eyes? You feel scared? You and your friends are in a critical state, so you must fight and win this battle in order to wake up. But I won't let you! We'll be best friends forever, just you and me."
Next Destination - There's a field of sunflowers ahead.
The character Koishi Komeiji, and the song Hartmann's Youkai Girl were originally made by TeamShanghaiAlice, also known as ZUN.
The artwork artist is made by hacko from Pixiv.
The remix was done by me using FLStudio using Pokemon Black/White and Black2/White2 Soundfonts, and a secret TH soundfont that I need not say from whom out of respect and request I not mention them or release.

the low HP sound bite is as fleeting as Koishi herself, this is excellent. excellent choice of art as well - it stays true to how Koishi carries herself in the storyline, whereas often these types of tragic characters (Flandre comes to mind as another example) are depicted by fans to be much more unhinged than than they are in canon

Whenever I hear the low hp beep, I instantly think of the game displaying a message that says "Koishi has infiltrated your unconscious mind and is attempting to terminate all vital functions!" and I get a weird feeling of creepiness and awesomeness at the same time.

Her team would be Mimikyu (cute or creepy depending on who you ask), Roserade (obvious rose motif), Beheeyem (the Cerebral Pokémon), Luvdisc (associated with love), Jirachi (has a closed third eye), and Nihilego (Nihilego and Koishi have so many similarities, it’s uncanny).
Cool.
Luvdisc is shaped like a heart too, so heart shaped bullets fit.
Maybe Hatterene as well, knowing how that is a Pokémon that always seem to teleport behind you.
though luvdisc is cool and all it's a pretty bad pokemon for a fight.

Optional Mega Evolution Pokemon: Mega Gengar (The shadow in contrast to light, the dark chambers of the subconscious mind in contrast to the visible room of the conscious mind)

Could be a special fight where Koishi hides both your and her Pokémon HP HUD.

The only problem with the song here is that you cant tell during the fight whether its just the song makes the low HP theme, or you actually have low HP and you're about to get screwed
It is not ment to be a low hp. But a heartbeat of sorts. It's the song that makes it. Also, in this scenario, all of your team will have hp in the red and you cannot heal. You have to rely on skills to win.

Yes I understand the situation and the parts of the song, I would just find it interesting if in a Pokémon/touhou crossover if during this fight, the health bars are hidden (power of the subconscious or something idk any other explanation) and the sound effect (which we all have come to dread hearing during a Pokémon battle) could serve as an attempt to trick players (btw idk how it came off to you, but I meant that comment as a joke, not as any criticism or something negative, I made a whole playlist of your songs that I listen to pretty much everyday while doing work or waiting for games to load so I could never criticize them
Well to be fair, in BW an entire different BGM plays when you're in low HP. I guess that here you'll just have to disable it.
