It's impressive to see her on live shows like Ellen and Jimmy Fallon where they just shove a mic in her face and she belts it out, no autotune, no nerds behind a mixing board, just raw talent. I remember when Ariana officially debuted with The Way back in 2013 people started comparing her to Mariah Carey because of her vocals and image. They still draw comparisons to this day and a lot of people see her as this generation’s Mariah mixed with a bit more hip hop/trap sound. The latter came from her last 3 albums though, I feel that her first 2 were more 90’s R&B with teen pop. She started to transition to a more grown up sound and image during Dangerous Woman (her 3rd album). Her latest one Thank U, Next is definitely the most trap sounding album so far. As to why people like her, I would say that’s it’s definitely first and foremost because of her vocals and catchy music, and then her personality and presence on social media as she speaks out on a lot of social issues. I personally became a fan of hers back in 2016 shortly after she had released the Dangerous Woman album as I found a lot of the singles to be really good pop music. At that point I was not really a fan of the pop landscape as I felt most of it was underwhelming, but she really brought back what I felt had lacked in it for a few years at that point. I still can’t describe what exactly it is, but her music reminds me of the pop stars from the 2000’s which is what I’m personally a huge fan of. I’m also into 90’s R&B so listening to her previous albums only made me become more than just a casual listener.

Ariana Grande has an amaing voice, maybe outclast for the ''pop music vibe'' she often uses. But i love her music. in addition to all the songs everyone else recommend to you, I suggest react to her vocal impressions in SNL, you gonna love her!!!
As not a big fan of pop music, it is pretty easy to see her talent. A guilty pleasure of mine is her video for One Last Time

I remember when Ariana officially debuted with The Way back in 2013 people started comparing her to Mariah Carey because of her vocals and image. They still draw comparisons to this day and a lot of people see her as this generation’s Mariah mixed with a bit more hip hop/trap sound. The latter came from her last 3 albums though, I feel that her first 2 were more 90’s R&B with teen pop. She started to transition to a more grown up sound and image during Dangerous Woman (her 3rd album). Her latest one Thank U, Next is definitely the most trap sounding album so far.
As to why people like her, I would say that’s it’s definitely first and foremost because of her vocals and catchy music, and then her personality and presence on social media as she speaks out on a lot of social issues. I personally became a fan of hers back in 2016 shortly after she had released the Dangerous Woman album as I found a lot of the singles to be really good pop music. At that point I was not really a fan of the pop landscape as I felt most of it was underwhelming, but she really brought back what I felt had lacked in it for a few years at that point. I still can’t describe what exactly it is, but her music reminds me of the pop stars from the 2000’s which is what I’m personally a huge fan of. I’m also into 90’s R&B so listening to her previous albums only made me become more than just a casual listener.

Ariana's music sometimes gets everyone surprise, she's done many different type of styles on her music and of course, her voice is something stand out from her a lot, she uses a lot the high pitch in her songs. As an Ariana fan, I can tell you Ariana herself is not a big fan of the music she created before 2018, she said she was playing “the game” to establish herself in the music industry. If you do more reactions I definitely recommend listening to some of her newer stuff! I recommend “no tears left to cry”. Loved the reaction though!
