My friends and I have a modded server up and in under a week we have both started and ended a race war between wizards and dwarves, had a schism in the wizards that led to the Adeptus Mechanicus being formed, had aerial piracy occur, and formed an international coalition to declare war on the Lorax. I'm looking into mechanized airships, as the ancestors intended.

All the mods are addons for the "Create" mod, from the looks of things it seems they have Create Interactive, Create Big Cannons, Create Trackworks, Eureka! and possibly a few more im not too knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles in Create, just look it up on Create addons you should be able to find what you are looking for
the tech with putting the shaft in the assembled cannon and putting the main turret on when its an actual second ship is genius, will be very damn useful for sure
Just got in to modded MC My 40K world "Apocalypse in a Moment" is destined to get so much better now" walking firing titans and flyers (w/)the invisible track) [and Grandfather Nurgle stirring his cauldron were all made possible, with a lot of work].. and now I can make free moving vehicles or mobile terrain or... just thought of a really cool idea! :D Thank you for this!

Saying this for anyone else who is confused. The addon he is using for the "Compact Cannon Mount" is called Create: CBC Modern Warfare and it is only available to testers sadly. Was building this tank in a 1.20.1 Forge instance before running into this roadblock, I'll try to use a regular cannon mount and I'll let you know how that goes lmao.
next time you could make a cannon that's designed to be built quickly mid-shooting, that way you could break in defenses or overall intimidate the enemy :D

Tbh create mod and its expansion mods and valkyrien skies 's expansion mods makes every minecrafters dream come true. Especially people like me who wanted to make a custom moving vehicle without using command blocks.
@@evilhedgehog-l8f idk if this actually fixed it but after i made the bottom part and activated with the wanderwand, basically the part that makes the tank moves and then put the psyc bearing and proceed to make the turret it ended up working just fine.
There are far too many types and designs of autoloaders, which depend on whether you want speed, compactness, etc., it is a hard thing to make a guide on and comes mostly from experience
my turret moves on its own when i assemble the cannon, it just slowly glides to the left or right, and because the turret moves the entire tank is just slowly gliding away
My turret won't work on the phys block , and also the hull wont work directly on the ship block , i need to use that helm onto the hull and if i do that there are blocks drping but still look glued , and after i try to put the turret it just isnt alligned ...

I built the tank, great tutorial and design! One thing though- my turret only goes to the right and the barrel goes down, it does not go up or left. Why is this, how do I fix it?
Most likely something with your link setup; make sure both your left and right frequencies power the inverted clutch, but only one powers the gearshift (same goes for the elevation). This way, both keys will turn the turret/gun, but one key will turn the opposite way as the other
You can't save the tank when its fully made, because its actually two schematics and the turret is its own phyiscs prop, meaning if you disassembled it and saved it, the turret rotation for the rotation of X, will break, because its no longer its own assembly, the turret and tank are seperate, and must be saved seperate.
How do I split turret and hull controls? they're mixed up and the commands work for both. edit: I was able to solve this problem but the turret is having difficulty rotating because the turret blocks do not go through the hull blocks

There was a problem with the gun. In survival mode, I can't put a steel or cast iron gun on blocks, but only move a piston. When I place the gun in the right place, I can't activate it. Only the cannon that is installed by blocks is activated, which is impossible in survival. Is there any way to solve this problem? (The installation of the weapon takes place before the activation of clockwork physics)

My tank doesn’t assemble on the block that I shipified and when I place it on the ground, it just breaks😢
The tank is also offset so I can’t put in the turret either it’s so frustrating

Sure, the transmission for the gun and tracks are the same, and you probably wouldn't need a turret. Just place the cannon directly onto the hull
