First, thank you. And while I may be the Cinderella of Cats, she’s absolutely a baby Dino. 🦖

Is there a reason why you wouldn't have done some groundwork with the Hackamore to get her used to the different feel first?

I did do ground work with her but that footage is in the full length session with this filly, which can be watched in our Cavvy Community, I show and explain the ground work I’m doing to prepare her to be ridden in the Hackamore.

#1 someone stole your fiador. The hackamore invented by the spanish works off the nose only. Using the principle of bend. Every time that button hits her chin she puts her chin up trying to get rid of the thump on her chin.
since horses learn by feel I no not let anything touch the side of her face. When I want lateral flexion my horse feels pressure on his nose either right or left. I don't use the hackamore as a leverage bit. I teach with the principle of bend period. Just ride through the trees bending around them and graduate to cows all with the principle of bend. Remember the key to vertical flexion is lateral flexion from Clinton close quote.
