  • Today we are again putting out slurry with the trailing shoe on the new holland tvt.
    Making the most of the dry conditions but there is one problem.
    We are out of slurry and waiting on some to arrive.
    I also go through what's to come later in the week.

    Great vid lad 👍🏻 its quare the way they don’t put like 45 degree elbows on the arms of the dribble bar where the hoses clamp onto to stop the furthest out pipes getting kinked

    Great video.
    That looks a nice clean way to apply slurry.
    If you sucked up a tank of water from the river, after spreading slurry, you could stand behind the system and see if any pipes are blocked. Them bloody plastic bottles will be causing problems for the next thousand years.
    The weather will play a role in how work progress.

      I check the pipes while I'm filling.
      You'd see if the rubber boots were blocked.
      Just poke in a bit of a stick or something and away you go

    Trailing shoe looks some job, be expensive enough, thick tanks are a bollox no matter what method of spreading

    Just watched Farmerphils video showing the difficulties in changing the plates in the masserator. Did you ever do one?

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  3 года назад +3

      Yes we rebuilt this one.
      Not too bad of a job.
      Should see the job I'm at the minute makes changing a macerator child's play 😂

    Great video again, excellent stuff. That tvt sounds class, she probably could do with back tyres soon or do ye think they be good for another while yet?

    Nice colourmatching outfit. Do you feel any difference between the New Holland and the Case one's, or is it just the bonnet and the colours that differs them?

    Do you have to agitate more for the trail and shot

      If I'm going spreading for someone I always tell them have it perfect.
      I'd mix for it the same way I'd mix for the splash plate.
      Just stay at it until there is absolutely no lumps left

    Which would be better a trailing shoe or a dribble bar?

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  3 года назад +4

      I prefer the shoe.
      A dribble bar is probably better for not blocking

    😱😱🤩🤩😍😍🥰🥰 She sounds NNIICCEE/ PERFECT. 👏👏👌👌👍👍
    Not to many places around me here, that you'd be able to get slurry out now. Still very wet yet.
    How do you know if your near enough to the last line/run of slurry you put out? Is it you eye it,with experience or you just chance it?
    Good drone footage. You seem to drive it on turning around. 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣
    Great video.Keep it up. 👏👏👍👍
