This was one of the greatest NBA Finals Series in the history of the NBA. Even though it wasn't alot of scoring, it was a very grind-it-out, hard series that brought back the days of the Magic-Bird Lakers and Celtics Finals of old. Classic

When you guys do 1 of something thats the greatest in the world...then you will realize what 5 rings means.

People still fail to recognize it but those years' Boston was incredible, and 08 was no shame (it would've been had Kobe&the team not risen up to the challenge next years however), but rather as Kobe says, a learning experience. I'm not sure had they won 08 lakers would've scored 09, and I'm damned sure they'd been beaten in 10, because the Celtics LA won against in 2010 IMO were both tougher, and better, than the 08 version. The others...well I do think Kobe did lose a chance vs the Pistons too - but so did the team as a whole. It was more of a collective problem than an individual one, but I do think that was a missed chance. The others, not so much. And 08 definitely not.
Kobe plays incredible for 6 games, while other teammates are inconsistent, struggles shooting for one game, gets called undeserving finals mvp. lol only kobe gets this hate.
S0 many players would have kept shooting and improved to 15/40 or so and lost. Kobe matured so much and went for 15 rebounds and major hustle plays and setting his team mates up instead of shooting out of the slump.

Thankfully he came back from the break with a different approach and indeed, his last two quarters were pretty good as he was focusing in rebounding and forcing fauls instead of dropping shots that would never go in (when your shot doesn't fall in, it just doesn't fall in).

Kobe is facing so many injury problems that it hasgreatly affected his game. In addition, the lakers chose a bad coach in my opinion to help kobe and his teammates make another run for a title. However, even if kobe does retire with 5 rings he will still go down as the top 10 nba players of all time.
