Always remember when u r looking for a position (back) of cue ball after striking the cushion u have to select back right spin for making the cue ball to go left backwards after hitting the cushion and vice-versa . brother there was another shot, you shouldn't have to use backspin, simply pot the brown, have a nice angle on blue and there you had a chance to open the cluster easily....another option was, after simply potting the blue, you have a combo shot on yellow and green

But you forgot that the cue ball didn't get enough tilt for it to bounce off into the cluster. Your shot just made the cue ball bounce straight. A little more tilt and it would of bounce onto the cluster. Another alternative would of been more left/back spin. Which is a bit harder to do.
you should have used about 3/4 right spin and a tiny bit less power. I'm sure you know, you're more experienced than me, but if the ball is moving too fast, the spin has less effect.

back right spin must be used instead :) after hitting brown ball cue moves towards cusion and directions gets revered . dats it....
You shouldve used bottom right spin. Right spin so that the ball goes left off the bottom cushion and backspin fir it to go a bit more left too
