I needed to know if it was or could be completely silent, thank you. I work on movie sets and the alerts my pump will do when I’m that low is not good when rolling during a take. There should be a silent setting on the pump and the phone.
So much overhype. The elephant in the room is the limited amount of insulin it holds. Only a portion of type 1s will be able to use this. In this day and age, Tandem should already have tubeless pumps. I'm on the X2 slim which is over 5 years old and they still aren't close to releasing the X3. They can't even make an app available for my phone.
I have so many questions. 😊 Which sensors are supported? Is the sensor linked to the phone or the pump or both? Is there an Android App? Does the system provide Control-IQ? Does Control-IQ run on the pump if the phone is out of range? Is the pump chargeable via QI?
Good questions also if charge on pad and only 5 inches of tether then while wearing does that mean you have to disconnect to charge? And how long to charge? Prefer no tether but omnipods even dash system pods are unpredictable I like the old pod system the original the pods work better but I hear will discontinue soon so looking at options.
Because it has a lot of promising features, allows you to choose of to use as a patch or tubed pump, lets you see the insulin, has many more infusion set options than omnipod, some people like control iq, omnipod5 isn’t available yet in a lot of countries (like mine) and is cheaper long term for out of pocket payers
The programming on omnipod 5 sucks. Can’t do low carb the 50/50 ratio doesn’t work for me I threw my 5 system away. I take 20 units a day 65% basal and 35% bolus usually I can’t manage but with omnipod 5. Even in manual mode it keeps adjusting everything. I hate this system.

Will there ever be android support (specifically Google pixel phones)

Why would someone switch to Mobi from Omnipod 5?

Omnipod 5 is best no tubes
I would have made the switch but I did not want to deal with another "learning" algorithm.
That’s so awesome I have the tandem t-slim x2 but this mobi is on a whole other level I want one as well 🫶🏼🤘🏼
