Poor Richard. Knowing all this about him made him feel very sad about his fate. He did all he could to protect others, Rebecca especially. Richard may be gone but his memory would live on.
. . . .Richard is just such a wonderful guy. It's so horrible that he went through what he did. Freezing in terror and losing his sister. Someone he was supposed to protect with his life. That broke his will which was then reforged in the fires of rage and compassion to be an unbreakable law deeply entrenched in his soul. Going out of his way to ensure no one he cares for or innocent people suffer an unnecessary death. Seeing Rebecca as a surrogate little sister to try and do his best to protect as some form of redemption for his past failure. I want resident evil to literally make a holiday called STARS day where they celebrate heros like Richard Aiken and Robert Kendo who instead of using the mass panic to make money just freely gave away guns and ammo to anyone who needed it for protection.
I feel like canonically speaking he probably survived being eaten by Yawn the 2nd time. He probably shot it again from the inside or it could have spit him up due to either not being able to pass through something because of it's meal or outright stress as is the case with real snakes. From there he was thrown up near the Aqua Ring where he would encounter the Neptunes and meet his end by them.
11:04 hey man you arent gonna believe me but the voice actor for richard int the original resident evil is my uncle. His name is clay ennis and i just found out that he and his brother voiced characters in this game. Theyre roles are only remembered for there out of tone dialogue which was not his fault. He told me the process of recording dialogue was absolutely bare bone and told him to repeat his lines like he was auditioning to be in a commercial. And yeah whatever audio they liked was used in the final game. its cool finally getting to know the back story of my uncles character. Keep up with the awesome content 👍
I never knew 😢 god dude. His sister's murder really messed him up. It haunted him his whole life. He become the hero he always wanted to be at the end. What a sweet kind man he was
Richards voice actor sounds like Sasuke. he was a great character but every turn he made he just wasn't ready to fight bio weapons. Poetically he grieve for his sister but his sister replacement Rebecca took care of him instead. I think Richard would've made a good character if he lived and find closure from his lil sis.

Not excited for this and dont get me wrong because I want it to be awesome but Making one movie out of two games is a turn off. Gonna suck for the 25th anniversary of this franchise. A crap movie and questionable tv series on netflix. Hopefully Res 8 is great so ae wont have to many failures.
