I absolutely love this horse.... he is type personified, just absolutely amazing.... I could watch him move all day and never get tired..... thank you for posting this. (ps: love your ads for him in the World....)
Thank you. He was started under saddle at one time but is primarily a breeding stallion. He had a major injury to a hind leg as a two year old (caught in a gate and ripped to the bone) and we really don't want to stress him too much. We have plenty of other horses to ride so he basically gets the easy life - turned out in his pasture, breeding mares, being pampered :) Many of his offspring have been shown under saddle and have won at many major shows including National winners. Irene
He was very beautiful. Unfortunately he passed on quite some time ago. We were honored to have owned his beautiful black son, MS Raiq, and now his incredible grandson, NV Beau Bey.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL video. It was mezmorizing to say the least. Can I ask what the name of the instrumental music you used in the beginning of the video is? It was very fitting to this video.
That is neat, Bint Miss Fire was an incredible mare. Did you know MS Rafiq when you were at Mt. Siegel? He was a 3/4 brother to Bint Miss Fire and we owned him for many years, he sired some awesome foals for us. Irene
@whitetiger123100 That's cool! :) I have a race bred Arab mare, and a friend who got a thoroughbred off the track that had won a lot of money. Boy did they brag about that TB till I made them race me. My Arabian could run that TB into the ground without breaking a sweat--and unlike the TB she could maintain that speed for miles and miles.
I find that most westerners actually take better care of their horses! Particularly Arabians! They use them for their main purpose which is endurance and show horses...so why on earth should it matter where they are? Too proud to share I think, not to mention the beautiful colors the westerners have given them!
If you look at how Bedouins used to ride their arabians they wore saddles, and bridles much like western gear, except that the horn on the front of the saddle is larger.
@bladeofbattousai, thats awesome. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I never saw your comment until I watched this video today. I always argue with people that arabians are better, after all the thoroughbred came from the arabian.
Somehow I can´t get used to Arabians wearing western tack and lifting their feet like a Tennessee walking Horse... To me that would be the same as removing their long mane. I also have to get used to our Frizian horses moving to other countries. It is just weird seeing them in another environment... Although I do not believe it is bad for the horses, as long as they are deeply loved by the owner etc.
I dont agree with that at all! what makes you think the westerners dont have the right to have them over there? They are used for their purpose and have been selectively bred to improve genetic diversity, which in turn, improves the breed. Believe it or not most native breeds of horse all over the world have Arabian in their blood line, even MUSTANGS! so in conclusion they are everywhere weather you like it or not!
dein pferd? Das glaube ich nicht! you never own a single thing, a single creature - in effect: they do own you! this happend with me and "my" katanas (samurai-swords): you just think it's yours. And such creatures as horses! My doughter has one beautifull danish warmblood meare - guess who's whose!
Thank you. He does not have a price, he's pretty much priceless to us :)
Irene
EXTRAORDINAIRE!
