Rod Cameron certainly introduced Faron Young the right way. Faron is one of the top singers in the world of great country singers. I never missed one of these shows back when it was on TV.... The only problem, with Faron's singing of his big hit, "Hello Walls" is that he's singing it like Willie Nelson (the writer of the song), not like the great version he put out on record. This was an amazing showcase of the great talent in country music at that time.

Faron was my mom’s favorite country singer, plus it’s funny that my dad looked like he could have been Faron’s brother …I guess that’s why mom married him 😂😂😂, I still listen to Faron all the time, He was a great entertainer 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
