If they made Selena in a customized Grunt mech look this good, just imagine how amazing it's gonna be when Algerias finally comes back. Yes I know that's not gonna be in Dark Prison, but I can dream, can't I?
Gespent isnt a Customized Grunt mech.. its the very basis of what OGS Units are made like Alteisen Gespent MK3 and Weissritter as Gespent MK2 Special Unit
I love that final attack so much. The animation and sounds are just spot-on for that "turning upside down with thrusters going wild" moment. ...No, I'm not talking about the boobs. As a straight girl, I already have my own pair to look at.
gotta admit for one of the lower end robots shes got a really good finisher, the fact it has the forward flip cool landing followed by the gunsmith holstering of her leg blades stands out alot, not many robots get even close to having a kill animation that good
And Selena having the skills to pull that off... in my opinion, she's the coolest female pilot in the entire franchise. I really hope we'll get to use her in the next OG game.
***** that honestly makes no sense at all. 1st In the SM-universe Excelen died in the crash with Kousuke, and the Einst turned nanbu into Beowulf and left her alone. Excelen was brought back to live via Sceintific means and became Lemon. 2nd the Gesterbern makes no sense as a SM unit. It is a Gespents that Uses the Frame and internals of a huckebein. In the SM-Universe the Huckebein was discontinued and everything related to it was scrapped, after it killed Rai. we should also note that we have known about the gesterbern since 2nd OG came out, so it's not very mysterious. 3rd Her theme is called Crying *Survivor*, Lemon Died, Twice. The current OG-verse does not have the Tech to revive people otherwise they would have brought back Daitetsu, by what means the could they bring lemon back again? Bioroids? nope that tech isn't native to OG-verse and no one knows how to work it. Einst? nope they infected Beowulf, not lemon. 4th If she does turn out to be lemon then that entirely fucks the conversation that Lemon and Excellen had at the end of OG2, Terada may have done some dumb shit in 2nd OG like destroying all the huckies and then giving the ultimate hucky to the most blatant Deviantart-grade mary sue, and retconing killing all the machinery children. but there is no way he would be dumb enough to fuck something up that badly. /rant
Moebs Chan let´s see what i can do. to 1st: don´t know why you wrote that, since we already know it. to 2nd: the comment of the unit designation was meant for the @ units: Soleares and Alegrias. but one way or the other it´s standar procedure of the SM to use local technology to improve their own machines, think about it, the Huckebein series was a colossal failure in the SM world, but it was succesful (relatively speaking*cough*robot hand*cough*) in the OG world, so... wouldn´t you use the technology that succeded where you failed, combine that with the Gespenst that where more than succesful in the Shadow Mirror world and you got yourself a good unit. to 3rd: the theme of Crying Survivor may be meant to show that she is the last known member of the Shadow Mirror forces alive; and in the dead Lemon thing, she was a robotics genius, smart enough to create bioroids like Lamia and her predecesor Aschen, not to mention Haken Browning who is a genetically-engineered human, i honestly think she is the kind of person who could find a way to make a copy of her concience and keep it tucked away somewhere until needed, i would´nt be surprised if Selena is either a bioroid or a genetically-engineered human and ELMO (that´s the robot´s name right?) has an updated copy of Lemon´s mind and activate a information injection system made so Lemon could have a body to go in case something happened to her, like dying in combat or being killed by Beowulf. to 4th and what comes after: isn´t Terada known for trolling his own fans? /reason (more or less)
I haven't played Alpha 3, to the point I asked; also, wouldn't it had made sense if Axel were shown to have had prior knowledge of Selena, if Selena were indeed Shadow-Mirror, even before OGDP, let alone 2ndOGs? I dont get why this games dont get localizeds in america, my favourite games were and are by far SRWOG for GBA, i wanted to play the ones for PS2 and PS3 but shit theres no way Atlus or other company localize the games, god dammit, instead of release garbages games why not look to this ones, i love the story and gameplays of this games, dammit >
There's a long list of reasons why these don't get localized. But for this game, which is an Original Generations Game (and to which there is no "copyright" characters), there are two main reasons: sales of the GBA ones were terribly and they were highly prone to piracy, which is lost profit and which led to the decision not to risk coming to America's shores again. Add to that the fact that, in America, Robot-based games and such are a niche market and you get the fact that Atlus and all involved feel its not worth the risk for lost profit. But I love the games too. So, I do feel your pain.
Udontknowme010 you forgot to add that all the SRW games are a translators worst nightmare. Even if they left the all the voice acting in japanese only, the amount of text that is in an average console SRW game, especially with all the route splits and some pilots getting a different set of lines just for being in a different mech. All things considered: we were lucky to get the GBA games. Then the whole piracy thing probably hurt those game more than others, if only cause before the 2 GBA games, every fan of SRW outside of Asia were either forced to import or pirate. Long story short: everyone that cared about these games had already imported and/or pirated. Also didn't help that fan translators had a 4 year head start in OG1s case, so even those that were waiting on a script got their hands on it long beforehand. PLUS it was released after the DS was already out by almost 2 years. I don't want to sound like I am some advocate for piracy and as much as I love Atlus for localizing them, it was doomed from the start. Simply put, they waited too long.
Trent957 Exactly. Like you said, the fact the games were GBA games (or PS2 games, in the case of the OGs series), were bad decisions from the start. At the time of their release, the systems they were on were being phased out or replaced by their subsequent followup systems. If they had waited on SRW OG 1 and 2, making them DS games with better graphics instead of GBA games, it might be a different story. Eh, I've kind of given up hope for getting localized SRW games (aside from the spinoff RPG series). It's a shame but it seems the only way for the series to continue :/
+Trent957 The dialogue problem could have been solved if it was handed to ZeroXSEED (the publisher). They managed to did it to the incredibly niche and dialogue-filled Sora no Kiseki games except the 3rd, and piracy could be easily fixed with some minor tweaks like with the DS Mashoukishin game, but the fact that it came out on the wrong day and age and on the wrong system kinda ruins it
***** Considering how common the 'Fembot' design is in most mecha anime, I'm actually glad that SRW has generally avoided it in regards to its female pilots.
+finaldarkfire With the stark exception of Wonder Wo-I mean the Valsione. But seriously, how was the one proper fembot in the series given to someone who'd have some personal issues piloting it, and also would rather pilot the RaiOh and such given her loud mouth. It's nothing personal, I'm just wondering.
Melhor personagem OG do Alpha 3!
such a cool pilot *-*

I want thios game so badly... T_T
Wonder if she'll know of Calvina... Would be a great way to tie er story in with Calvina's.
um how to tie the story together?
Calvina is Ex-Military and was very famous before she retired when Al-Van asked her to so they could be together.
Quick question: Why is Selena in La Gias?
you know, that´s actually a better question than if she is a Shadow Mirror or not
She's there to find Shuu... Which takes a whole 5 minutes.
and an answer brings a question: why does she goes to find Shu?
Part of Team Yelba's mission to ascertain if Shu really died at the end of OG Gaiden and gather the remains of Neo Granzon.
so she shot her shotgun and take two unit that should be far away.
No Gracias and Adios?
Just look at her... beautiful big huge eyes! I love you Selena!
Her eyes are down there! No wait, that's not right.
Where are ingram?
T.T
Dead people usually stay dead, setting aside the obvious exception of Shu,
@@suchiuomizu Shu, Axel, Alifimi, Lamia, etc.

I wish they gave Selena a female robot, female robots in SRW are too few.
***** wait, robots have genders ?
DevilRaptorB not exactly gender but you know the likes of Angelg and Valsione R. They can have female appearance.

yaa, but that is so unbeliveble and feel more like an insult to female characters

OGシリーズは改造費が高すぎるんだよなー。いつまでたっても進化しない。
