Thank you RpR. I have really enjoyed building this. It was a bit sad, however, editing it and realising the summer had gone. For the last part I was wearing a Wooley sweater. Regards JP
A great build. I am going to make something very similar as I live in Spain and would be able to use this probobly 10 months of the year. I don't have a loft and my caseta (shed) is very small so working outside is my preferred option. I would need some sort of shade as the sun would be too hot in the summer to do any work. Thanks for being so detailed in your videos.
Thanks Paul. These will head to France someday soon as we live there I make these videos when I am back in the UK where I still work. I have similar issues there to you and and a nice shaded spot under tress. Regards JP
Err… so what IS the joy of 96mm centers? I’ve frequently wondered why this odd number is a persistent standard and have yet to find a sensible reason for it. Always seemed to me that 100mm would make life somehow “simpler”. :)
Hi Steve. I was being a bit sarcastic regarding the 96mm centres, I agree 100mm would make more sense. Apparently the 96mm is derived from an old engineering standard that works on 32mm (1 1/4”) increments. regards JP
Mate, that is one hell of a set up. Really enjoyed your process of building this bench for its functionality. Top man
Thank you Steve. Regards JP
Thanks for this. We are downsizing, and your design and its functionality will give me my shop, albeit small, still. CHEERS!!
Great to hear Gerry. Regards JP
One of the most versatile benches I have seen. Well done. Somehow makes you wish the summer was back though.
