The Pants Ripper is the name of a pattern sequence on Doubles that causes you to damn near do the splits which can result in you ripping your pants, hence the name. A very clear pants ripper pattern is having to hit Up on P1 then down on P2, for example. It doesn't happen often on DDR, but it does happen. There are other patterns that can risk pants ripping, but this is an example. Those wide boy crossovers toward the end in the green note stream would be another example.
