Looks like it was a loose connection or maybe just corrosion. Who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️
The solution should be tested on a test strip. Same for the c41.
But maybe next time.

Solution at least should be almost transparent and not black, hehe

The CPE has a thermal cut out - accessed on the side and reset by inserting a small screwdriver.
