I made a similar pub shed at the end of my garden much to my wife’s anger. Fast forward a year and I now live in it full time, since my wife moved the builder in to our marital home. I now drink beer in the shed and watch the house..anyway, beers good...so every cloud.
Have you seen Pat Dickinson's pub shed build...I think you'd like it. He's a classic. Love the finish, and look of your pub, really great to have a look around.
This is on my to do list. Looks like you put a lot of work in there. Looks great. I've got crap tons of space for it but sheds are pretty expensive, especially the bigger ones.
Great video mate that is a nice pub shed. I'm looking to build one soon and your video has been a great help. There is nothing better than a beer in a small pub with your mates.
Hi Mark....... first of all, this is my first ever post on ANY social media platform! .... I also love the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany......AND their beers. I regularly visit the Netherlands (near Alphen) and a rough guess leads me to believe that you may have liked to have seen The Jam with me for the first time in 1978 on their All Mod Cons tour? Anyway, I recently discovered your channel when I was looking for ideas for making a German/Belgium themed bar in my Log Cabin.... which I’ve just finished..... I love your channel and you’ve inspired me to dive into loads of new Belgium stuff... St Feullien... De Garre... Westvleteren etc. I’ve really enjoyed your Friday quiz and chat sitting in my new Pub Shed.... although I work Friday evening, so am hoping this will be moved as you have hinted. I’m also a lover of the Orkneys and the genius they call Rob Hill from the Swannay Brewery. Scapa Special is of course..... Special amongst others but I wonder if you have ever tried Muckle... which means BIG? I’d be interested to see your review. I’m happy to send you some if you let me know how to go about it. Keep up the great work..... I love it, regards, Alan.
Absolutely brilliant build mate and thanks for sharing. I've also watched quite a few of your other vids and enjoy the detail and love for beer you have! I have an outhouse / dumping ground(!) approx 2.5m by 2m and thinking of making that in to some sort of bar. Cheers.
Fair play mate good video got some good ideals from your bar. I do like the corner seating area but Ive built a garden bar shed on the back of my house with help from a friend and it’s not cost me nowhere near what you have spent or said. I’m approximately £1500 in and still got work to do and I’d say another £1000 to go. I e even got bar taps with kegs that need setting up
Wow mate. You should be proud. That’s a real pride and joy piece right there 👍🏼 always been on the to do list and after watching this one like yours is ultimate goals. Cheers 🍻
Starting out on mine - well got the foundations done a couple of weeks ago. Great video and very informative - thank you. Shows that I am on the right track - never considered CCTV tho. Nice tip.
Hiya ‘Bier Hooligan’ some great tips in there so thanks very much for sharing and hope you can help me out with bit of advice on this please? We have a holiday home in Ireland and already have done foundation (concrete raft) which was intended for a 4.5m x 2.5m garage BUT we then decided we’d never use a “garage” as such, hence we’re now gonna do a pub as think it would go down a treat with holiday bookers. Now... the one big downer in West if Ireland is the weather (as the Irish would say “it’s always raining except when it’s not” 🤣). I’m wondering about the longevity of wood over there and wondering if it would stand the test of time with the weather OR..whether we should still build it with concrete blocks as originally planned, then we could insulate and do electrics etc then clad over the inside? What are your thoughts on the log cabin with damper climate?
You have got a nice pub shed , I would love to build one myself but its Impossible as I live in an apartment, maybe one day I will try to turn a old garrage in a pub shed.
Good work. We are planning one in our garden as we have a big space but don’t use the garden at apart from the odd BBQ - I’d normally have a go at building one myself but think I’ll have to get some help as I am disabled now so restricted .... plus wanting it to be about 6m x 4.5m so the more hands the better (family hopefully as they’ll benefit from it). Been looking at Dunster House too - looks good stuff.
Quick tip: glass fronted bar fridges can be obtained for free very easily with a bit of looking, worked in pubs for a few years and I’ve given away at least half a dozen of the bloody things.
We’ve ordered a Dunster house cabin for our new pub shed. I’ve been very inspired by yours shall we say 😊 could I ask do you know the colour and type of paint you’ve used for the interior it looks great.

It is enjoyable building it and if your anywhere near Stoke-on-Trent I’d love you to do my electrics and give me a few ideas Once again brill pub shed . You just need a pub sign lol Many thanks Andy
I forget sometimes how small the average persons garden is. I am lucky to have over an acre. I will be building a massive bar with pool table, darts, bandits etc. I already have a 80 plus sq/m workshop but don't want to mix work with pleasure. Severe accident offshore has left me a bit broken but once I am capable I will mill the wood I require and get it built. If my payout is big enough I might just buy a bar !!!! P.S. I grew up in a council flat and then a council house with a postage stamp garden so I know small houses and gardens.
