- Here is Round 2!!! Redcat Vigilante VS the Traxxas Xmaxx!!! These massive RC truck battle it out off the Death Ramp! The brand new Redcat Vigilante was a superstar out here today and flew way up in the sky performing amazing stunts with ease! Which truck will be the winer?
You know who's the winner? All of the RC enthusiasts! The more choices the better. The Vigilante looks like it's doing very well so far. Thanks Thunder! And let's be real, almost NO ONE will be sending ANY of their RC vehicles that high ever. And I've had crashes with the K8S and O8S like the ones on this video (while the Vigilante was beings driven). Those two vehicles didn't survive 😂

The thing I love most about your channel, you know how to drive, land jumps, and most importantly, you know how to correct bad jumps. So many reviewers will have terrible landings and not realize, they're just damaging the truck! Lol, awesome video.

Doing those jumps, most people would have 2 dead trucks. Thunder is a very skilled driver, and it shows! As was said at the end, "time will tell". Probably in the next video....lol

I didn't say anything at the moment, but she said she have some kind of phobia... now I understand why some people doesn't like the thunder's sounds. You should really do RC videos for some of these RC companies!! I thought the Death ramp was crazy enough but to add a ramp in front of it, doing front flips and then combo into double backflips is insane and amazing! It shows off your skills with control!! Super Sick video bro!!

Vigilante is earning its stripes nicely here! The body being the same Chev as the Clodbuster is great for us old nostalgics, and even if the sintered metal diffs of the redcat are not the strongest, enough of these will sell for a hardened machined steel powertrain to be manufactured. Looks like a winner.

This is absolutely sick! Great video. I love the redcat trucks for their price, but since the kaiju, they have stepped up their game a ton. This truck looks like an oversized kaiju for real. Great driving skills as well!
Do you have the Raminator "mud tires?" Might look cool on the Vigilante due to it's long wheelbase.

The Vigilante looks like it has muc h lower cg due to the mounting locations of the electronics. Especially the motor and ESC

thanks bro! appreciate it. I have stock motor with a hobby wing max 6 esc, 20-50 gearing, stock weights in all diffs I keep the truck light, not a whole lot of metal. I also use light tires like the Traxxas Sledgehammers. 💯💯

This was an assume session. To me it looked like it took some hard landings from your jumps. Held up well so far. I know you going to give it it's test for sure. Xmaxx is always amazing as well.

Thunder!!! What’s the best RC around or under $1000? I know all RCs need a couple upgrades and tweaks but something that’ll handle some mild skate park bashing and some flips without needing constant work or an immediate $200 chassis upgrade

It sounds like either the diff is stripping or your gear mesh on the motor is too tight on the redcat
