It's mostly because warfare nowadays is so different than WW1/WW2. They had no fancy tech, drones, missiles that could strike from thousands of kilometers away. It was always boots on the ground. Nowadays that's not even needed anymore.
War is a place where young people who don't know each other and don't hate each other kill each other, by the decision of old people who closely know each other and hate each other but don't kill each other and shake hands at the end of the war
Nah, the people are very much ready and willing to be active participants. Only the Iranian people can claim otherwise, since they died by the thousands only two months ago trying to overthrow their government. Other than that, all parties involved either directly elected their own government or actively support it in exchange for amenities and conveniences (gulf states) or ideological reasons (russia and Israel).
@ElonMasks The Second American Civil War, which si already happening is what triggered thE attack on Iran to distract from the Trump/Epstein files which...well...the rest is history as they say
I mean it’s America who’s always been at war every year since its existence , same could be said for israshit. Perhaps it’s because they ARE the problem , and generalise the entire west Asia region as one “Middle East” reeks of post colonialism. Do better and call it as it is .
Germans being less likely to say a world war is coming is sort of funny due to the implied logic; "We didn't start it therefore its not going to be a world war."
@erickmendoza3669 While technically true, Austria-Hungary was not going to act without German support. They also failed to mediate between A-H and Russia (part of the diplomatic corps knew A-H didn't intend to annex Serbia and another part knew Russia was only intervening because they thought Serbia was going to be annexed). Their invasion of Belgium is ostensibly what brought in the UK and made it a truly global war (along with the US later). Plenty of blame to go around but Germany made it so much worse.
Would you rather sit back and wait till Iran get nuclear weapons and declares war on us? Or just have them keep funding terror organizations and attacking people in the west?
This is it world war 3. Since you're only 18, you don't remember the thousands of other idiotic claims over the last 50 years that world war 3 had started. Every time a military action happens, somebody says this.
If this is WW3, and if there are history classes after that, I have no idea how they are going to explain to children how it started other than ‘yeah, sometimes adults do some really dumb things’

Depending on the writer, basic History will probably say either Trump, Putin, or Irans leader started this one, if it does qualify as a world war, and gloss over all the hows and whys and who did or didn't do stuff to just get into how the war was fought, the major battles, who "won" and what the immediate aftermath was.
the decision was made at least 2 years ago (probably longer) by the industrialists and first world leaders beholden to them. the past 2 years has been grooming of the population into accepting the idea of, and possibility. war is great for businesses and for those who control vast fortunes. even the vast majority backing the losing side of the last great conflict are still around and thriving today. the people pulling the strings behind closed doors will never suffer consequences, but only increase their fortunes. they have decided that it's time for a reduction in the population, as the 7 richest people have all stated that workers will no longer be needed in the immediate future.
Seriously this was a beyond insane choice. Just flipping the colours would make much more sense or something like the same blue for the sea and pastel yellow/beige for land would be even better.

Agreed with th dude above, just like Spanish civil war served as the theatre to test new war technologies (bombings and Anti-Tanks) the Crimean conflict was the scenario of the nascent drone war
@LSams_626the Crimean conflict? The 2014 one? To my knowledge, that one hasn't deployed drones. Nor is the 2022 - now Ukraine - Russia war either the test ground, drone effectiveness was first thoroughly demonstrated in Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in Autumn 2020
Guernica in 1937 was left like the Gaza strip in 2025. If we're going to repeat the same mistakes of WW2, I have bad news for the immigrants in the US, who are being kidnapped and shipped to concentration camps both in the US and El Salvador. When the anti-Jew laws started to take place in the Reich in 1933, no one was talking about the "final solution" yet, nor the jews believed it would come down to that.
Cause its barely a war, afghan has no airforce that cud do any damage and its mainly fighting with either terrorist bombings and ground attacks, while pakistan actuallt began this war cause trump allowed it and prolly promised aid
@LightGaia09 Pakistan has nukes. It also has unresolved territorial disputes with India and China who both have nukes. Better for everyone if they're not at war.
Funny thing is, I remember that being the first thing I learnt in high school when it comes to maps. Don't make land blue (unless it is a temperature map or a similar map with a colour scale (density) with blue/white being coldest) and don't make two different things the same colour (example land and sea like this map.) The lesson could be wrong, they were teaching little girls how to make temperature maps and population density maps of their island and this was decades ago.
Looks like the world forgot that Pakistan and Afghanistan are also in a "war" between each other. That would change the count of nuclear powers involved in conflict from 5 to 6.
@anonymous-hz2un Just had to make it a religious thing. God what's this insecurity. Russia and Ukraine are at war. So any idiot could also say "The Christians are always at war" Any region or continent in the world had been in some kind of war of conflict always
@anonymous-hz2un Warfronts. There's just so much going on right now that it got lost in the shuffle. War is generous here, Afghanistan doesn't have the capability to wage a real campaign.
@anonymous-hz2unSorry bro but it's a very extremist thing to have such thoughts about a specific group and labelling all of them bcz of their leaders or what ever🙃
Accidental? Are you sure about that? Iran doesn't have a globalist central bank, nor did Venezuela, or Iraq, or Libya, or Syria.... Seeing the pattern here? Nothing on the global stage is accidental.
@ichibanmanekinekoI think you misunderstand. I’m talking about a misunderstood move, a false alert on some screen saying a missile has been launched towards the other side, rumours or chatter that gets misinterpreted, or someone bluffing and it goes too far. There have been several well documented times when the Soviet Union misunderstood an American signal and almost launched nukes, literally within minutes. So yes - I am sure about that.
@gjahlarYou sound like you're suffering from toxic positivity, and very afraid. I'm a buddhist, I meditate, and I theoretically get your perspective. But it really does sound like avoidance here. Hiding behind something profound when the real life is too terrifying to face.
Americans are soo cruel and heartless.... none of them offered condolences to the 100+ dead girls in iran due to us strikes, western media has oargely ignored it and these indie guys have just casually referred it... what if the 100+ girls were american and bombed by any other country...? Then the dates would have been remembered forever, a war might have been declared and the world would be told to offer condolences. Atp the americans are more worried at the prospect of losing their soldiers than emphasizing the fact what this war and the current strikes on refineries would mean to the future lives of ppl in tehran...
I think the world is still morning the 7000 Iranian children mass-hospitalized when Iran Gov attacked 300 Iranian girl schools in 2023 with Chemical Weapons.
Well Russia is something of a meagre power now, and the US's competition with China and conflict over Taiwan looks a bit like a cold war type of deterence and competition.. My opinion is completely unfounded but I'm willing to bet that China will never get into any actual indirect or direct military conflict with the US, and that the US and China have no meaningful arms race or intention for war like in the Cold War. It is at least akin to a cold war.
Also in WW1 countries actually honoured their alliances. In this world none of these new mutual defence pacts will hold up if any of them are actually attacked. They are all deterrents with no intention of following through.
Throughout the entirety of WWII, it was essentially defined by nations breaking alliances and switching sides. Great Britain famously failed to decisively intervene against Germany nor the Soviet Union for the invasion of Poland right at the outset of the war. It just symbolically declared war but did nothing to stop them in the end. This both confused and emboldened the Nazi leadership and convinced Hitler of his special destiny. The war would have initially began with Germany on the backfoot if the UK and France launched an aerial and naval campaign against Germany from the outset, forcing German troops into defensive positions and thus delaying their Ardennes offensive. France was in a good position with its superior armor at the time to launch probing attacks on them in 1939 prior to the heavy buildup of German forces on the border in 1940. Germany also betrayed Japan by signing the Molotov-Ribbentropp pact and caught the Japanese prime minister completely off-guard. He and the IJA had been preparing for a land offensive into Siberia to retake the rest of Manchuria from the Soviet Union and Japan had been expecting Hitler to keep Stalin focused on Europe. Instead, the defensive pact forced Japan to make their ceasefire with the Soviet Union after Khalkin Gol permanent and instead adopted the navy's plan to invade the Pacific. That action dramatically changed the course of history. Had this sudden switchup by Germany with the Soviets not have happened, the US may not have been dragged into the war until late 1942 or early 1943 and the Axis would have been stronger. Then of course there is Romania, under the dictatorship of Antonescu, who exploited the Axis Alliance to gain territory for himself. But then with the collapse of the Axis line and the advance of the Red Army into their territory, the King of Romania staged a coup, overthrew Antonescu, and immediately switched sides to join the Allies and declare war on the Axis. Initially intended to gain favor with the Allies and Stalin, but it did not prevent them from falling into a petty Soviet satellite state.
yeah i was about to make the exact same comment, it's just weirdly and painfully wrong, why does france have alsace lorraine, why does russia have kaliningrad and western galicia, why is serbia tiny, etc etc
-modern German-Franco borders -modern German-Danish borders -the Åland Islands, were never conquered by the Russian empire -kaliningrad oblast is already established -Italy already has its post-WW2 Borders -WTF happened to Galicia / the Austro-Hungarian-Russian border? -the Caucasus and Kazakhstan already got their independence from an yet to be established Soviet union -serbia has their modern southern borders towards Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo -montenegro already controls the area around the bay of Kotor did i miss something? presumably the Belgian-German border is also modern, but its hard to tell the difference on their map. honestly, i dont think they could have made a better rage-bait map of an pre-WW1 European map.
I think you should add a description to the footage you use in the video. We should know whether it's an actual footage from countries that you mention or not
Exactly - if this counts- so did the Ukraine War (where the whole west is backing Ukraine), Afghanistan War, Iraq War, Gulf War, which all had coalitions- the Syrian Civil War counts- so do countless civil wars during the Cold War.
It's also worth noting that only 3 countries have launched actual attacks in this war- the US, Israel and Iran. Everything else has been attacked countries, countries sending defensive deployments or covert support - but only 3 countries are really fighting
it's not just austria-hungary, i think belgium is only country in that map with a single correct border, and i suspect that's only because eupen-malmedy was covered by the name, and if you're gonna say the uk, the channel islands aren't coloured in so not even that's right edit: just thought i'd make a full mistakes list, lmk if i miss anything russia: missing Åland, kazakhstan, and the caucasus, while incorrectly owning western galicia, memel, and kaliningrad serbia: missing macedonia (literally like half the country at the time lmao) austria-hungary: missing western galicia, south tyrol, and most of montenegro's coastline germany: missing kaliningrad, memel, northern schleswig, alsace-lorraine, and i would guess eupen-malmedy but you can't see it past belgium's name france: has alsace-lorraine uk: missing the channel islands also, germany declared war on france, not the other way around, and belgium wasn't "caught in-between germany and france", it was an entirely avoiable invasion by germany in an attempt to outflank the french army luxembourg was also occupied by germany but more willingly finally, the coastlines are overall a little sloppy, like the zuiderzee's been filled in, but i think this is probably fine
East Prussia, Memel and Alsass-Lorraine were part of Germany. Galicia was part of Austria. You also have the Weimar boarders of Silesia. Germany also had more of Schlewig. Is it really that difficult to get a correct map?
Flying cars are a terrible idea. Humans already struggle maneuvering on a 2D plane. Adding in height to that would result in massive causalities higher than a world war would.
There's a lot of mistakes in that ww1 map. AH is missing Polish Galicia, Germany is missing Kalingrad, Memel and Alsace Lorraine, and Russia is missing central asia
@spiritualnyplThe missing area corresponds to Kaliningrad oblast, there has never been an administrative division called Koenigsberg corresponding to that exact same shape
We Europeans messed up our future. If we would have kept our army at a big enough size putin would never get it in his head to invade the EU. But now the risk is there. Only option we have it try to delay him as long as possible in Ukraine and get our shit together in the mean time
@mdl2427 Merz doesn't deserve to be put in this list of autocrats and warmongers, but Trump and Netanyahu are not much of an upgrade on the names you mention, and they're probably actually worse than Xi. If you're going to be oppressed, better to be oppressed by someone whose goal is stability, than by someone whose goal is the humiliation and/or eradication of anybody who is different from them.
@blackwatertv7018 Its like some people think comics and video games tell them how the world works. It isn't team A vs team B - there are hundreds of countries all out for their own benefit ultimately. The US pushed the false narrative that there should be one top leader...but in reality the smaller countries do way better when there are a few vying for top position and keeping each other busy.
mentioning those places will make it more accurate, but not the way you're describing it. Palestine - it is a continuation of the war that hamas started in oct 7th 2023. Lebanon - soon after oct 7th 2023 hezbollah joined hamas in the attack against Israel, thus pulling lebanon into the same war. it has ended since, but soon after the recent war in Iran began, hezbollah started firing rockets at Israel again. Syria - I haven't heard anything recently about Israeli actions in Syria. during the previous fight between Israel and hezbollah, while and shorty after the assad regime (which was allied with hezbollah) was collapsing, Israel attacked hezbollah and iranian targets (Iran is supplying hezbollah, as they are their proxy). There was also a much shorter round of bombing as a response to Syrian aggression against the druze minority in the south. (there is also a druze minority in Israel, many of whom have family in the syrian side of the border who were getting massacred by syria)
@LightGaia09the 7th of October happened when the status quo was that Palestinian' liberty is limited, because when it is not, intifadas happen (exploding vests, and exploding busses). Say all you want about how effective the policy of limited Palestinian liberty is, but you can't say that it's irrational. And also, in the nakba, many Palestinians left on their own. They were promised by the Arab armies to be able to go back once they destroy Israel. The Arab armies were wrong. They couldn't destroy Israel. And the Palestinians who stayed were granted full citizenship and rights like every other citizen. You can't accuse a nation of committing genocide just because they are more militarily successful than their enemies.
@unknownunknown7734This is why I don't understand anything going on in the Middle East other than the main headlines at the time. It's such a mess and has so many historical ties that it's hard to form an opinion on who's more right (not even that one is definitely in the right).
An offended german who is offended that his nation is rightfully considered the instigator of world wars for the destruction of tens of millions of people?
Why?Is European lives are more precious than other one's lives? If other continents or regions are in danger than it would not be?For me as a asian and human I would say almost whole Africa is at a world war or you can call it a continental war since the colonial powers have left it.
No but it made it more horrible and inhumane than any war before. AGAIN. After holding the previous record, and not even knowing it would break it a second time decades later.
Remember, we’re probably not gonna realize it’s WW3 until we’re well into the war.
Just like WW1
It's mostly because warfare nowadays is so different than WW1/WW2. They had no fancy tech, drones, missiles that could strike from thousands of kilometers away. It was always boots on the ground. Nowadays that's not even needed anymore.
@Rick020 no, because WW3 would be nuclear armageddon.
Oh we are DEFINITELY gonna know
Yeah we’re already 3/4 years in
It's not a World War
It's a Special Military World operation
Lol they both said it would be quick
TRUMP RUINED MY SUMMER I WAS PLANNING TO GO BEACH WITH MY GF
@N7GizzyGalNZ21now where have I heard that one before? Surely the war will be over by Christmas at the latest.
World Excursion?

I believe Black Sabbath wrote a song about this 🤔
Nah, the people are very much ready and willing to be active participants. fun fact... or I guess sad fact, World War 3 in the Star Trek universe started in 2026...
Ah shit
We're cooked ...
what caused
yay. That means we will get First Contact and Warp Drive and the Federation
@ElonMasks The Second American Civil War, which si already happening is what triggered thE attack on Iran to distract from the Trump/Epstein files which...well...the rest is history as they say
The world when it's my turn to be an adult:
I literally just graduated 😂
@Masterlewgerawww❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Better to be an adult in the apocalypse than a pensioner or a child
Finally, an adult is involved in this whole mess. We all can't wait for you to fix this chaos!
Me: Finally, it's Friday
TLDR: Is This the Beginning of a World War?
its Friday 13th
Oh no
Brilliant 😅😅😅
@d099zJust realised that!😅😅😅 Wow that makes sense! 😅😅😅😅😅
U can die in peace
Born too late for war in the Middle East
Born too early for war in the Middle East
Born just in time for war in the Middle East
Also Probably gonna die with this shit show
Born to war in the Middle East. No wage, just war.
Literally All of which started by America lol
I mean it’s America who’s always been at war every year since its existence , same could be said for israshit. Perhaps it’s because they ARE the problem , and generalise the entire west Asia region as one “Middle East” reeks of post colonialism. Do better and call it as it is .
@patrickkirby6580 No, by the Jews in Israel, Europe, and America. Get it right.
Remember in ww2 people thought for 6 months that it wasn't a ww
"In the next issue of our magazine, Too Long, we are discussing the consequences of nuclear armageddon on the GDP of the United Kingdom."
“Why this is *terrible* news for Keir Starmer…”
Why nuclear arrmagedon might not be as bad as you thought?
"Will explain how nuclear retaliation might affect gas price."
Here are three reasons why growing a third eye in a radioactive hellhole might be a good thing.
Us Brit do like to think about our inevitable nuclear apocalypse, look at The War Game, Threads, When the Wind Blows, and V for Vendetta
I can scarcely believe that this year's recipient of the coveted and storied FIFA peace prize would start a world war
Oh he got a real one too... from someone else
Its gotta go down as the greatest/worst own goal scored.
The FIFA peace prize will never wipe this stain from its legacy
@bravo.sierrabadum tssss
Guys, how is he supposed to make peace negotiations if there aren't any wars? Gotta make your own opportunities.
Crazy idea: when you make a map, don't make the land blue
Yes, exactly what I was thinking. Couldn't quite work out what I was looking at initially...
so true
It always confuses me initially
Omg i second this. Drives me crazy
Glad I'm not the only one who mentioned this
Germans being less likely to say a world war is coming is sort of funny due to the implied logic; "We didn't start it therefore its not going to be a world war."
WW1 wasn't started by Germany though; it was by Austria-Hungary and Serbia.
@erickmendoza3669arguably either serbia or Austria Hungary
Nonetheless, germany got the blame because they're carrying the alliance in europe
Thats part of why we should just give 3.5% of our gdp to poland and france, the most peacefull nations in europe.
@erickmendoza3669Serbia arguable
so, you're telling me that the president of peace is the cause that triggered the start of WWIII?
I know, right? Doesn't the FIFA Peace Prize mean anything anymore?!
@EHJ-Vthis is what we get for not giving him a Nobel prize 😅
War was started long time ago
Would you rather sit back and wait till Iran get nuclear weapons and declares war on us? Or just have them keep funding terror organizations and attacking people in the west?
"Mr President, I'm tired of winning"
We seriously got WW3 before GTA6 💀
that joke is getting old
@Mr.Sigma333it really isn’t
😴😴😴
@SonOfSaturn44 Nah, you're just mentally stunted. It's old.
@Mr.Sigma333no
it's always funny
the longer it lives, the more funny it gets
This the most Proxy a World War could get before going full World War
we've got proxies of proxies fighting. I would end it with "lol" but I'm too busy running to the shelter.
What on earth do you think the word "Proxy" actually means?
The US and Israel fighting Iran is the exact opposite of what a Proxy war would look like.
@michaelcoward1902 that front is no longer proxy, but quite literally *everything* leading up to it has been
@michaelcoward1902 It's kind of a proxy, if you regard it as a war between the US and Russia.
Isn’t proxy a setting for Wi-Fi
bruh im literally turning 18 this year, couldn't the world have waited a bit more before deciding to end?
Adulthood sucks. You aren't missing anything
Sameeee 2008 people
This is it world war 3. Since you're only 18, you don't remember the thousands of other idiotic claims over the last 50 years that world war 3 had started. Every time a military action happens, somebody says this.
It's not like it's gonna effect you, ur living in ur western country shielded from all of this
Your just in time bro now we can play COD Real Life.
"Is this a world war?"
"No because nukes exist"
Great insight
Is that the summary of the video?
@LiftingAl Yes. His whole argument relies on 'but nukez.'
@corecollapse4726haha ok wont watch it! Thanks
@corecollapse4726no, he did also say because Trump and Putin and Xi are all buddies
@corecollapse4726 That was just one out of three great points.
Born to late for Cold War
Born to early for Space War
Born just in time for WW3
War always awaits us😢
Too*
If your lucky you might live to see the Vulcans make first contact.
Load and lock gentlemen!
@CoreyKearneysoon we will have ramulan first contact or klingon
Is it only me that prefers when water bodies are in darker blue than land on maps?
Me too. It is always confusing.
Same
Same it threw me off
Better yet, how about drawing the blue stuff (water) in blue, and the mostly brown stuff (land) in brown? Revolutionary idea, I know.
Water is clear
It's World War III and everyone's invited, party invitations courtesy of Ben and Don.
all this because Don didn't wanna talk about what he & Jeff were getting up to...
If Ww3 is here it actually started with the Ukraine war. It’ll officially be a ww3 when china invades Taiwan
@raoul-c6h??? What??? Israel is still Jewish
We getting WW3 before GTA6 🙄
Also notice that map has Belaru, the balkans in green. Like how does that makes sense
@Ark1OO1O Balkans is famously an oasis of peace and good neighborliness.
@Dendarang😂
We? Africa and South America are definitely not getting involved this time.
...F%^k me - did you just equate a potential global conflict to a video game?
It's more like 19th century with many local wars
Agreed. The great game is afoot once more.
Way i see it, the main reason we don't call it world war 3 yet, is cause the great powers are currently fighting proxy wars, not direct wars.
Or the interwar period
Israel is literally calling it a middle age holy war
But their interconnectedness makes it closer to World War I
If this is WW3, and if there are history classes after that, I have no idea how they are going to explain to children how it started other than ‘yeah, sometimes adults do some really dumb things’
It's going to be explained with one of those meme videos "That's me, you're probably wondering how I got here..." 🤦🏻♂️
Same way they explain WW1.
WW2 is fairly easy to explain, given its a fairly direct chain of WW1-great depression-nationalism in worst affected countries-warmongering used to recover countries economies-war breaks out across the globe- all major economies and there colonies dragged in.
WW1 explainations gloss over the whole "the people in charge were all stupid and greedy" by just saying "well this one dude was assassinated for reasons we won't explain and then war broke out between most European states".
Well we can tell the truth or the truth that will come out
the decision was made at least 2 years ago (probably longer) by the industrialists and first world leaders beholden to them. the past 2 years has been grooming of the population into accepting the idea of, and possibility. war is great for businesses and for those who control vast fortunes. even the vast majority backing the losing side of the last great conflict are still around and thriving today. the people pulling the strings behind closed doors will never suffer consequences, but only increase their fortunes. they have decided that it's time for a reduction in the population, as the 7 richest people have all stated that workers will no longer be needed in the immediate future.
@htopherollem649remember the French Revolution?? Maybe we should start taking notes
How many "mistakes" do you do before you learn? The last big one is still fresh in people's memories.
That ww1 map is really inaccurate guys. You cut off East Prussia, Alsace is in France, whats going onbwith Galicia and south Tyrol??
Clearly just approximating with modern border assets to avoid having to create a whole new set of assets for a 5 second clip
And Germany declared war on France to enact the Schlieffen Plan, not the other way around!
@TheWisdomRock They could just get a map of ww1 in even less time 💔
@JohnCollins-vy4nfthen they'd have to alter it to their style which is basically redrswing the whole thing
@Monty2022 Would literally anyone care if they just got a random map of ww1 and just zoom in on whichever country they were talking about.
Whose idea was it to colour the land in blue and the sea in white?
Same people that do sanitary products.
Blood red makes people anxious.
Seriously this was a beyond insane choice. Just flipping the colours would make much more sense or something like the same blue for the sea and pastel yellow/beige for land would be even better.
It's opposite day! 🎉
The water is an lighter colour of blue, not white.
Idk i was fine looking at it but i am very familiar with world geography
This feels like the 5th "WW3" since Covid.
This decade has been crazy
I hope so
Kinda scared in the future that it will be official ww3
According the news, we are in the 6th world war, 5th great depression and 9th great recession 😂
It's just the clueless people who have zero idea of how the escalation ladder works.
Really, just fear mongering
Born too late to fight in the sandbox.

Blackadder?
I'll have to watch it
@user-cg4vn6cr8e You're in for a treat. start with season 4.
"So the poor old ostrich died for nothing."
😄
"I'm right behind you, Blackadder!"
"About 6 miles, to be exact!"
The 1914 map is completely fucked up
this feels much more like the spanish civil war that predated WWII, a series testing battlegrounds in preparation of "the big one"
Actually it's 1937 when Imperial Japan invaded China is debated to be the start of WW2
Ukraine vs russia feels more like the testing ground.

Can’t we just be friends💔
Not how it works sadly nearly everyone is enemy’s
@GR33N100literally the only enemies are the world leaders. They command, we obey ✌️
@D@DaTree-12ou don’t have to obey. Brother look inside yourself and you will be free.
You can't be friends with fascists
Yeah let’s just be friends
6:20 those borders are so bad it almost made me cry
AI made his best )
quality of article is pretty bad. Trump being best friends with Chi?
Maybe WW3 was all the regional wars we fought along the way to MAD?
Hey, im from the future! In our textbooks, WW3 started in Korea. I think you guys still call it the "Cold War" and pretend it ended.
@tempestandacomputer6951 Well korea is fine rn
The real ww3 were the friends we made along the way
@robob4465 or the opposite really
Having the map be light blue for the water and dark blue for the land is so confusing on the eyes.
Skill issue
@berghesein or shit graphic design. But whatever lol
Its like watching a documentary from 1933 to 1939 until only three countries save Europe.
"The young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other"
Brother just ignored Pakistan and Afghanistan like they don't exist. Violation 💀
Cause its barely a war, afghan has no airforce that cud do any damage and its mainly fighting with either terrorist bombings and ground attacks, while pakistan actuallt began this war cause trump allowed it and prolly promised aid
Afghanistan Vs. Pakistan amidst this war kinda feels like Ecuador Vs. Peru amidst WW2.
@moharshad6882yes
@LightGaia09 spoilers
@LightGaia09 Pakistan has nukes. It also has unresolved territorial disputes with India and China who both have nukes. Better for everyone if they're not at war.
Whoever makes those maps should rethink the idea to make landmass colored in ocean blue. Honestly, how would anyone think thats a good idea :D
yeah I keep having to look a few times before I recognize the land
Yeah its so confusing
War on bad design practice
I can barely make out which country or continent it is
Funny thing is, I remember that being the first thing I learnt in high school when it comes to maps.
All my fears evaporated, when I saw the sponsorship bit at the end.
Business as usual, guys!
Looks like the world forgot that Pakistan and Afghanistan are also in a "war" between each other. That would change the count of nuclear powers involved in conflict from 5 to 6.
@irpmedia6600Yeah, that's why I called it a "war"
Where's the news? The muslims are always at war with each other. They're just used to it.
@anonymous-hz2un Just had to make it a religious thing.
God what's this insecurity.
Russia and Ukraine are at war.
So any idiot could also say
"The Christians are always at war"
Any region or continent in the world had been in some kind of war of conflict always
It’s not a deliberate war we should fear. It’s the accidental one where something is misread or misunderstood that triggers the other side.
Accidental? Are you sure about that? Iran doesn't have a globalist central bank, nor did Venezuela, or Iraq, or Libya, or Syria.... Seeing the pattern here?
Nothing on the global stage is accidental.
@ichibanmanekinekoI think you misunderstand.
So yes - I am sure about that.
what a time to be alive. When you can be dead in just a second.
that goes for everything alive my friend
@gjahlar Don't pretend this isn't different.
@Argentumッ it isn't. it never has been silly
we can either all die or stay alive, I'm not sure of either
doesn't mean I'm afraid
@gjahlarYou sound like you're suffering from toxic positivity, and very afraid.
I'm a buddhist, I meditate, and I theoretically get your perspective. But it really does sound like avoidance here. Hiding behind something profound when the real life is too terrifying to face.
2:25 you forgot that Romania has allowed it's bases to be used by US.
Jorjor wel mentioned 1:04
Americans are soo cruel and heartless.... none of them offered condolences to the 100+ dead girls in iran due to us strikes, western media has oargely ignored it and these indie guys have just casually referred it... what if the 100+ girls were american and bombed by any other country...? Then the dates would have been remembered forever, a war might have been declared and the world would be told to offer condolences. Atp the americans are more worried at the prospect of losing their soldiers than emphasizing the fact what this war and the current strikes on refineries would mean to the future lives of ppl in tehran...
@AspectscinnabarJorjor well
@Aspectscinnabarbut about the thousands of women and girls killed by irans Regime you don’t care right? That’s not cruel huh?
@L-03.08 Of course they are, but two wrongs does not make one right.
I think the world is still morning the 7000 Iranian children mass-hospitalized when Iran Gov attacked 300 Iranian girl schools in 2023 with Chemical Weapons.
Problaby. We, humans, have some issues going a full century without a massive world-changing conflict.
This wont trigger that, its just a warmup
You mean the voters?
I do think we are in a 2nd Cold War, Not WW3.
Oh, thank god for that. I can relax.
Nobody during ww2 suddenly said "alright guys, it's ww2. I declare it the world war".
Also in WW1 countries actually honoured their alliances. In this world none of these new mutual defence pacts will hold up if any of them are actually attacked. They are all deterrents with no intention of following through.
you know, Italy has quite the reputation concerning that ...
War used to be fun
@LightGaia09 No, are you mentally limited or something ?
“You’re gambling with WW3”
but he doesnt have any cards
The world when its my turn to be an adult:
Rule of thumb in journalism: if the head-line is a question, the answer is 'No'.
The country counter was a brilliant touch
06:59 "The ward doesnt work"
>Shows a town in ruins
6:19 So many mistakes in that map
yeah i was about to make the exact same comment, it's just weirdly and painfully wrong, why does france have alsace lorraine, why does russia have kaliningrad and western galicia, why is serbia tiny, etc etc
Yeah, there's almost not a border on it that's correct lmao, you wouldn't think it would be so hard to trace borders from a real map into the graphic.
-modern German-Franco borders
-modern German-Danish borders
-the Åland Islands, were never conquered by the Russian empire
-kaliningrad oblast is already established
-Italy already has its post-WW2 Borders
-WTF happened to Galicia / the Austro-Hungarian-Russian border?
-the Caucasus and Kazakhstan already got their independence from an yet to be established Soviet union
-serbia has their modern southern borders towards Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo
-montenegro already controls the area around the bay of Kotor
did i miss something? presumably the Belgian-German border is also modern, but its hard to tell the difference on their map.
honestly, i dont think they could have made a better rage-bait map of an pre-WW1 European map.
I'll bet you anything it's ai generated.
Thanks
6:20 All the talk of war aside, this is some pretty bad pre-ww1 border gore lol
A pessimistic response: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Did the US even say "thank you" to Ukraine?
I think you should add a description to the footage you use in the video. We should know whether it's an actual footage from countries that you mention or not
Academically speaking, it isn’t a world war unless Germany starts it. If they don’t it’s simply called an international mess.
Yes it isnt a world war unless it comes from the world war region of Germany
As a German: We are currently not interested.
Yes. Fantastic joke. As funny today as it was 80 years ago.
Hang on, the animators gave france control of Alsace-Lorraine during the WW1 segment, which we all know means this entire video is now BS 🤣
Thanks for the video, but I think you may have forgotten Lebanon in the counting, cheers :)
This video was amazing, learned a lot.
4:52 you forgot Parkistan wich is also a nuklear Power and at war
*Pakistan
There was 49 countries in the "Coalition of the willing" in Iraq.
That didnt make it a "World War"
It was more of a one sided beat down.
Cos Iraq stood alone. Arguably Iran does too tbh, to a massive extent.
Exactly - if this counts- so did the Ukraine War (where the whole west is backing Ukraine), Afghanistan War, Iraq War, Gulf War, which all had coalitions- the Syrian Civil War counts- so do countless civil wars during the Cold War.
Did I mention the Iran-Iraq War, Soviet Afghan War, Korean War (which saw 20 countries fight directly - including the US, China and USSR).
It's also worth noting that only 3 countries have launched actual attacks in this war- the US, Israel and Iran. Everything else has been attacked countries, countries sending defensive deployments or covert support - but only 3 countries are really fighting
I feel like Mark Rutte telling people to prepare for war is a bit like a lemon salesman telling people lemons cure all ailments
Imagine a world where Mark Rutte was credible enough to sell lemons...
@ic04014 he sold almost everything to the netherlands
Is he ready to enlist himself?
Im wearing my "Man i really wish I wasn't living in a historical event right now" button
That Austria hungry border is terrible!! How did that even happen?
Yeah, West Galicia and Lodomeria was never Russian, also East Prussia was German at that time. I don`t know what they were thinking
it's not just austria-hungary, i think belgium is only country in that map with a single correct border, and i suspect that's only because eupen-malmedy was covered by the name, and if you're gonna say the uk, the channel islands aren't coloured in so not even that's right
edit:
just thought i'd make a full mistakes list, lmk if i miss anything
russia: missing Åland, kazakhstan, and the caucasus, while incorrectly owning western galicia, memel, and kaliningrad
serbia: missing macedonia (literally like half the country at the time lmao)
austria-hungary: missing western galicia, south tyrol, and most of montenegro's coastline
germany: missing kaliningrad, memel, northern schleswig, alsace-lorraine, and i would guess eupen-malmedy but you can't see it past belgium's name
france: has alsace-lorraine
uk: missing the channel islands
also, germany declared war on france, not the other way around, and belgium wasn't "caught in-between germany and france", it was an entirely avoiable invasion by germany in an attempt to outflank the french army
luxembourg was also occupied by germany but more willingly
finally, the coastlines are overall a little sloppy, like the zuiderzee's been filled in, but i think this is probably fine
@morphomirtihotevski563 "Londomeria" 😂😂
cause Austrian eat a lot
"Austria hungry" oh this fries me
It's going everywhere including to outer space 😂
You said 5 of the 9 world nuclear powers, but I think you meant 6. Pakistan is at war, too.
Pakistan is not a nuclear power
@fopalanchi Pakistan has the bomb. It's a nuclear power.
@fopalanchiIt literally is dumass
@anidiotusingyoutubenope
Mom look, we are in a history book!
If this is ww3 then im gay
this is and you are.
Happy for you, bro 🫶
How is Narnia this time of year?
East Prussia, Memel and Alsass-Lorraine were part of Germany. Galicia was part of Austria. You also have the Weimar boarders of Silesia. Germany also had more of Schlewig. Is it really that difficult to get a correct map?
We were promised flying cars for decades but got WW3 instead 😡😡😡
Cars will be flying about if a nuke goes off.
We have flying cars, helicopter
@amelveambitzya3592 not much if a car tho if it doesn’t have wheels…
They were really stupid for thinking there would flying cars.
Flying cars are a terrible idea. Humans already struggle maneuvering on a 2D plane. Adding in height to that would result in massive causalities higher than a world war would.
Old men start wars young men die in them … 😢
Europe when a world war might start but no one invited them:
For me WW3 is when two global superpowers are directly attacking one another
Wtf that t would be a nuclear stand-off
Nuclear exchange, nuh uh, not a good idea.
Pills here
@fredgoer7968grabbin pills
There's a lot of mistakes in that ww1 map. AH is missing Polish Galicia, Germany is missing Kalingrad, Memel and Alsace Lorraine, and Russia is missing central asia
"Kaliningrad" damn.
@galaxya69samsung36False, it's Königsberg
@spiritualnyplThe missing area corresponds to Kaliningrad oblast, there has never been an administrative division called Koenigsberg corresponding to that exact same shape
@spiritualnyplКёнигсберг? Да ты поклонник Гитлера
Was anyone else confused by the map at the beginning?
1870's, Albert Pike, Jewish, Luciferian, Bolshevik, Freemason: There will be three World Wars. All by Design!
Well, I'm not fighting for Merz, Trump and Netanyahu.
well enjoy being ruled by Putin, Ayatollah (insert successor name) and Xi I guess?
It’s either them or being ruled by Putin or Xi
Why are you not counting Palestine, Lebanon and Syria that is being attacked by Israel?
mentioning those places will make it more accurate, but not the way you're describing it.
@unknownunknown7734
"it is a continuation of the war that hamas started in oct 7th 2023"
The genocide was started in 1948 by Israel.
@LightGaia09because the ashkenazi jews should have remained in europe instead of fleeing to relative safety among their brothers and sisters?
I just bought a car and life wasn’t looking too grim for once…
3:55 - "What? World War 3? No, no, no. We are not planning anything, you can relax :)"
I don't see how this could be WWIII, unless we are talking about a "world war" where it's everyone against Iran.
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein.
It's funny how security pacts intened to prevent wars create more wars 😅
If you told me there was gonna be a world war last year, I would've said "uhuh"
Remember everyone, it's not a world war unless it comes from the Berlin state of Germany, otherwise it's just sparkling conflict
An offended german who is offended that his nation is rightfully considered the instigator of world wars for the destruction of tens of millions of people?
Underrated comment lol
@Евгений-н5щ6фGermany absolutely did not start the First World War.
Too many videos with a question for a title, to all of which the answer is no
Betteridge's Law of Headlines - typical in TLDR
Next week: Why a New World War Doesn't Seem Likely
it's clickbait. heavily alligned to one political side = ragebait clickbait.
When they all talkabout war there will be no war, but when they all talk about peace and happiness, then the end will come
I'm going on holiday in May, I really could do without any war, at least for the next couple of months.
Me too end of April
BAHAHAHAH this but the 27th of March
Where ?
@ichigoswitch Malaysia
Jeez that WW1 map has alot of errors.
I don’t mind TLDR clickbait but this is the most egregious one
I don’t think so considering so many shorts RUclipsrs have been joking about WW3 starting or are repeating the situation in Iran as WW3
Yall just a heads up, you wouldn't know you're in a world war only after a few months in.
What an incredibly clickbaity title no?
I hope all the countries have fun
As someone from a 3rd world country, that's my motto, especially if europeans get involved,
@IroquoisPliskinnnmany countries in Eastern Europe are borderline 3rd world....
Trump will be remembered by future historians as the only empire leader who deliberately destroy his empire to do cover up on Epstein Files.
Bro literally on his way to start world war 3 just to prevent release of complete trump-epstein files 😭
they started a war to cover up the epstein files, then used epstein to distract from the war!
China the hero in this story and didn’t bomb others.
It's gonna be funny to read about though. Not funny to live through.
I just wish Reincarnation is real and I would be reborn in year 3782 to read about him
Let's hope this doesn't actually become WW3 so we all don't die
