The last 20 or so postings have the repetitive piano music that interrupt my ability to relax. Your voice is wonderful, the storms are soothing, but the music is too much. Thank you
I love these long ones with the rain, and the piano subtle behind that, it's perfect. I listen with earbuds while in the room I've also got heavy rain sounds playing fairly loud all night. It's not long before I'm out any time I sit down. If for some reason my tablet decides to stop playing or something I can still hear my other rain sounds playing in the room even with earbuds, but I still wake up and instantly know something's wrong. Now I'm scared the internet will be out or something and I won't be able to sleep without listening to my stories😂 I got up the other night to get a drink, I was only a minute. When I got back my earbuds were silent...tablet was still slightly glowing, and the video was still ticking down on the time when I checked, and the volume was up....mute not on...by now I'm starting to panic, Jesus I wish I was joking right now, and still not hearing anything. Unplug the buds, yup, I hear it fine out of the tablets speakers. Earbuds plugged in again, nothing...I guess I'm going to have to break down and turn a light on. First off, I'll start by telling you all that one of my cats has taken a liking to my latest comfy spot. I have to sit up to sleep ever since a surgery I had a couple months ago, and the cat has not missed an opportunity to lay on my footrest holding my feet like a teddy bear....nasty....anyways... Lights on, Ol puffballs missing, puffballs never missing, and she was definitely there when I left for a drink because I had to make sure not to dump her on the floor as I got up. I knew right then some fuckery was afoot, and that was when I noticed my earbuds are still in my ears, but I walked over to turn the light on, and set my tablet down on the table and it's still there...about 10 feet away. That's when I noticed the other half of my earbuds cord was still in the tablet dangling off the edge of the table...that bitch!!!😂 In less than one minute she managed to chew through my earbuds cord, knew she messed up, and decided to make like a tree and get the hell out before I came back from the kitchen😅 Lucky for her I had another corded pair kicking around in my desk. I don't use my Bluetooth ones because the batteries don't last long enough and when the battery dies there's a really loud warning right before they shut off, no matter where the volume is set. One is a piercing high pitched tone, the other a robot lady with a heavy Chinese accent screaming "low battery"....both scare the absolute piss out of me and it's either right in the heat of a particularly spooky story, or wakes me and I jump up, dump puffball off the footrest, then just look around trying to figure out what I'm doing and why I'm standing up😂 Yet, despite all that drama, I still need to listen to Raven Reads to sleep at night. Puffball has since come out of hiding and now just holds my feet a little tighter in case I need to use the Bluetooth headphones....she's lucky I don't have to...yet. Now I have to carry them with me if I get up so she won't eat them 😂 I must have left the cord dangling over the arm of the chair, that's the only time she plays with things like that, dangling strings are her kryptonite. She loses herself any time there's a dangling strings of any kind. Take a good whiff and hold on tight Puffball, it's time for Raven Reads and a nap!!!😮😂
