I enjoyed this video so much! Thank you for putting yourself out there, I love your encouragement of kindness and doing unto others. Love your finishes and I am also working on patriotic quaker. Summer is a very busy time for all things outdoors. I love to garden and watch for my garden visitors, the bees, butterflies and birds. I try to plant perennials that will serve them all summer long and watch them play and drink from the garden fountain and bath pool. We have deer so I have to be very selective on what I plant. We also have a fox den in our back yard and I enjoy watching for them to come and go and seeing the kits come out in early spring. We give them plenty of privacy and space in hopes they continue to come back year after year for our enjoyment. I have a few fox cross stitch projects I am going to do in honor of them. Enjoy your summer, hope to see you soon!

It was nice to see you on Flosstube today. I enjoyed your stitching updates as well as the neighbors projects. I must warn you, those Primrose Cottage Quakers are very addicting much like the Mill Hill and Satsuma Street kits. Lol, I agree stitching must remain a fun and enjoyable hobby not to be confused with a hectic and fast paced job. Your words and stories are a special gift to all of us in the neighborhood. ❤☮

Another lovely floss tube, full of beautiful projects and stories and sharing. And grace. Love the sentiments about stitching being a hobby that shouldn’t bring stress or pressure, although I wish adulty things didn’t get in the way so much, of stitchy time. Discovering floss tube a few months back made me feel ok about all the projects I had on the go, which was great, but I’ve since realized I tend to be a “monogamish” stitcher, because I really do enjoy the (full) finish as much as the process, so welcome to the club. I’ll continue to love and watch your channel, as long as you’re doing what makes you happy, in life and stitching.💕(Sorry I seem incapable of shorter comments🫣)

I love seeing your stitching but that's not what makes you one of my favorite people to watch. It's who you are that makes your videos so great. Love the projects in the Neighbor's Corner. I enjoyed your video. Don’t be so hard on yourself. This is the busiest summer I have had in years. Beautifying your outside space takes time and energy. The Mill Hill ghost is so darn cute. The framing is perfect. Those Satsuma Street ornaments are gorgeous. You mentioned Brooke’s Books. She has free patterns as well. I have stitched one in her advent calendar series. Her designs are so beautiful and intricate. Enjoy your time outside and get things done while you can. We’ll all be here when you have more free time.

Chris, I am currently working on a 5” square Mill Hill kit and you are not kidding when you say they have a deceptive amount of stitching, lol. I so agree with everything you said about deadlines. For me too, deadlines make stitching more stressful, and that’s not what a hobby should be…unless of course you like deadlines! I enjoy your updates no matter how much content you have to share, so please do keep checking in!
Always good to have you check in! I stitch less in summer than the rest of the year as well. I would rather see a check in video than none at all. What a lovely sentiment in these crazy times. I subscribed to you a while ago on several people's recommendations, I'm finally geting to watch you. Your tone of voice and use of the word neighbor makes me think of Mr. Rogers. You have some great projects. I like that you share the work of people who don't have a Floostube. I have started referring to my crossstitch plans as "nebulous intentions".

Your parting words touched my heart. I once had the opportunity (due to a terrible accident,) to tell some young people that you should never be afraid or negligent to tell the people close to you that you love them. What a great world we would have if everyone was kinder to others,--and sat on a deck in the sunshine and stitched! Loved the Halloween wizard.
