    I still have mine! It's great for pizza sandwiches, grilled cheeses, muffins, pb&j sandwiches (which are AWESOME when they're warm!)... And they can be found at tag sales EVERYWHERE. lol

    This is a shining example of an infomercial done right. The Snackmate is called the Breville here in the UK, and it's a great bit of kit for any kitchen..

    I used to have a snackmate when i was little. It was amazing. I always made a grilled cheese in it and it came out wonderful.

    My mom has a similar one from the early 90s, but it's a Betty Crocker machine. These sandwich machines were so trendy in the early 90s.

    This is a sandwich maker, they have been around since the dawn of humankind. I have one of these, although sturdier, it gets used quite a lot and is probably older than me (that is 25+ years!). The thing's been in my house for as long as I can remember and it's quite handy.

    My parents had one of these years ago. When you heated the sandwiches whatever filling they had would heat up too, and stuff like melted cheese or pizza sauce would ooze out from between the bread and turn into a hard crust that you needed a crowbar to get off. Nasty.
