KOF Destiny has been hella dope. Glad KOF has a great matching series to compliment the games. Will be fun seeing what they do with the NESTS saga down the line, but for now...its Goenitz time soon

Been a while since I'd seen this, but completely forgot the future Team Super Heroine was featured as a unit in the climax of the show. Nice of Oda to pair them up again for KOFXV.
Looks like they renaacted Rugal's early concept of stealing other people's moves like Terry's Crack Shoot and Heidern's Cross Cutter, which was never implemented due to the limits of the Neo Geo hardware at the time. So he was only able to use Kaiser Wave and Reppuken, with his original moves to pack up. I wish Rugal could come back and with the advanced technology it would be possible to finally make the original concept reality. Nice and enjoyable episode.
Actually, he have the ability to "steal" power. It was never implemented because it was obviously overpowered, so he had only the signature moves of the bosses characters, like Geese and Krauser.

Not bad, but he should have been wearing his coat for this whole episode and gotten it blown off at the end. This was obviously just phase 1 boss Rugal, not Omega Rugal as his appearance would suggest.
Again good to see more of Rugal, the highlight, in this episode, bringing back his ability to use the fighters moves that was cut from '94, the God press and the Genocide Cutter, although the latter didn't get as much fanfare as I would've liked. Was a surprise with the other team members joining the fight but it was great seeing Benimaru do electrigger on Rugal, besides the latter he was the highlight this episode. Odd that Mai and Yuri were present and not King though considering they were all knocked out (not gonna mention Ryo and Robert too much again but seriously why weren't they or Daimon here?). Team Super Heroine feeling liked the producers favourite but it was a cute nod to have Athena team up with the characters she always wanted to team up with. Next episode seems more Kyo vs Rugal which I'm down for (hoping Benimaru and DAimon come in the end well) and we're finally getting Iori but I'm expecting a teaser at most for him to "hype up"2 his return for the next series(Awaken at the time).
