Yes, Leon is the best person to deal with on Homelite's, and also pretty much any other brand of chainsaw. Leon, to the chainsaw world, is like Richard's is to the Gravely world.
David same here!! Those Super EZ models were VERY popular in the late 70s and early 80s. Believe you me I rebuilt my fair share of Homelite carburetors! Right now I'm finishing up a blue XL12 with only maybe 10 hours on it, although it's been sitting 45 years! Can't wait to hear that sucker purrrr!
the Super EZ is my favorite saw, 40 years ago when I burned wood that the saw I used and it was great.
Be sure those lines are VERY tight going through the tank grommet or hole! You're right, it can't hurt to change those lines!!!
