Thanks very much that's always good to hear. I will be getting a ton of content out in the next couple of weeks moving to a new house and a new reptile/fish room
Your set ups are absolutely stunning! Nicest I’ve seen. Can tell how much effort you put into your set ups and caring for your animals. Just gorgeous 💜
Jon's Rainforest Room very much! Super inspired. Can’t wait to get back into fish keeping and hope to get my first reptiles this year or next - A leopard gecko. Future animals I’d love - bearded dragon and Chinese water dragon 💚 Thanks again for sharing.
Jon's Rainforest Room probably marine as that’s what I kept previously. I have had freshwater too in the past. I’ll probably get a small tank initially for invertebrates and coral and possibly just a couple of fish. I’d rather watch a tank than the tv lol. I’ve never had a big set up like you have though before. I’ve always liked the idea of having a leopard gecko but to be honest it’s only over the last couple of months I’ve been more interested in reptiles. Watching beautiful videos like this make me feel super inspired too so thank you! What got you into keeping reptiles?
Elise Doyle Elise Doyle I've never kept marine so hats off to you. I would love a brackish tank with some mono angels but never had a tank with salt. Is it as hard as people say? I always had a fascination with them as I loved dinosaurs as a kid. I seen a green iguana and a royal python in a pet shop and had to have one. Got my first royal and a Florida king snake when I was 9 and hasn't stopped since.
+Dewittejager haha glad you enjoyed my videos. I will be trying to get a new video out before the end of the month, so hopefully not too long to wait 😉
+Mera hey thanks! Yes this won't be their forever tank. I'm trying to buy a house at the moment and once I move the fish will be getting an upgrade as well as my green tree python. I have made every effort to make life as good as I can for them with 400 litres of filtration as well as regular water changes at least 50% once a week, usually twice a week. This tank has been running for at least 2 years and the one canister filter on this tank has been running for 4 years so the tank is very stable. All the fish are eating and doing well but can't wait to get a bigger tank
+Craig Tallentire noted. I have a list of new videos I want to make so I have added your request 😁. Should have a new video out before the end of the month.
Love the video and the pets you have. You put effort & time into them👍🏻 I have a Exo terra 45x45x60 dual canopy and thinking about getting a gargoyle gecko soon do you know what lighting would be best for a day&night cycle? as am struggling to find info on them. Keep up the good work.
+UK Pro Detecting hey thanks for the kind words and support. I've never owned a gargoyle gecko but have read up on them. They don't like it too hot and need a temp around 75f so depending on where you live. You may need a 25w heat light or heat mat on the side of the tank on a thermostat. You will need a 5% UVB light for them and I would always use Acadia d3 T5 tubes if you can. Hope this helps and good luck with the new gecko.
This is an old video of my last room and have since moved to a bigger better space. I use manual sprayers on most tanks but have some mistking and monsoon auto sprayers to setup again. Hope that helps 👍
@@JonsRainforestRoom thanks so much as I am very new to keeping reptiles, I have got a veiled chameleon and tying to work out if it better in the long run to get a sprayer.
@@william8340 no problem at all. I would always recommend using an auto sprayer as its more consistent. The only reason I havnt set them up again is because I'm working from home and I am here all day 👍
When i first watched this video I thought you had thousands of subscribers, I’m surprised. All the tanks are beautiful wish I could take care of plants, my terrarium is a mess :’(
+Miranda Random wow thanks. I've only started posting for about 3 months on and off. It's really stated to pick up though since my last video. What are you keeping in there?
Hey just subbed! Nice video, nice collection... Would like to be able to do a pond/viv for my green tree python! Be good to see a vid how you went about doing it..! Does the water stay clean enough.. !
+Sean Roser thanks mate! No problem I've added it to my video list. Yes it's fine. It's massively over filtered and I do once to twice a week water changes. Thanks for the support 👍
Omg amazing i love your reptile room + plants isnt it hard to clean all these vivariums With live plants? i only have a Snake and some fish BTW subbed.
ANDROID AVIATION hey thanks for checking out my video & for the sub 👍👍👍. No it's not hard at all really. If anything bio active setups make maintenance & cleaning easier. Mainly just cleaning the glass & any poop from the bigger animals. Hope this helped
+Riza Iqrami thanks very much. I think I will start speaking in my videos just need to pluck up the courage lol. Maybe one day I will even appear in my videos lol
If I am correct, 100 liters = about 26 gallons. If so, that tank is SEVERELY overstocked. A tank tha small could barely house 1 angel and you looked to have a good 4-5
+Aquariums Unlimited hey thanks for the support. No I mist most of them manually but I do have a mistking for the chameleon and geckos if I need it and a exo terra monsoon for the gtp tank and the fire belly. Most tanks I mist twice a day and keeps everything as it should but I do use the misters if I'm not at home. It's nice doing it by hand as I get to interact with the animals and check the vivs for dirt or plants that need replacing/pruning etc
Don't add duckweed until you have tested it out compeltelt away from your display tanks. It will be impossible to remove once in, lol. Test it and decide if you like it
+3PAlienClub hey thanks for checking out my video. Yes they are very low maintenance. I do 1 x 50% - 75% water change a week, trim the plants back once a month, the springtails take care of the mess and throw in crickets 3-4 times a week. Something your considering getting into?
Jon's Rainforest Room i already have lots of Geckos, but nothing i would keep in an palidarium. I thought these toads Look very nice and i could create an good looking palidarium. So i think i will so my research in these animals :) thx for the fast answer. Keep your awesome Terrariums going!
+JTB Reptiles thanks very much. It's been fine with no problems at all so far. I have plenty of vents and air circulation plus the whole thing is lined with 3mm acrylic sheets. Keeps the temperatures and humidity really well and living in the UK where it's always cold that's a good thing 😀
Jon's Rainforest Room Thanks! That was why I asked; I'm in the UK too and if I ever were to get a cham then there's no way I could keep the temps up in a mesh enclosure.
Jon's Rainforest Room North West. I'm not actually getting one, it's just a thought for if ever I did; it would have to be a blue bar ambilobe panther though. I've always wondered how wooden vivs can possibly withstand the humidity that chams need, but maybe they've all been sealed with acrylic and I haven't noticed haha
No hate but man where are the rainforest juwels? U defenitly miss them in this room... Dartfrogs not only are looking gorgeous there vivarium is like the Coral Reef of terrariums with orchids and bromeliads. Im suprised u dont have them, are they illegal in the UK?
+suo mynona hey thanks for the comment. I'm just getting started and am limited by my small rented house. I will be buying my own house in the new year and plan to have a converted garage hopefully but if not a spare (larger room) room or a purpose built space. I have big plans and maybe more of what you are referring to. I know what you mean about the dart frogs they are amazing animals and their definately on my list. Their terrarium style are right up my street and even have a spare aquarium at the moment so maybe more on this soon. But no, dart frogs are not illegal in the UK thankfully.
Jon's Rainforest Room my usual plan was to get a smaller tank but i found a good deal. Both brand new same price but the other one was bigger. I never have owned any terrarium yet. And im already diving in a more experienced animal. Since u have so much rainforest animals and have about the same climate as my country (netherlands) i have a few questions for u.
Jon's Rainforest Room so the main reason why i wasnt to sure about a bigger tank is because i dont want to buy a misting system yet. I will buy it in the future and spread the cost. Is it easy to maintain the humidity in Ur tank? And the other thing that im struggling with is light. What do u run on the bigger/higher terrariums?
Jon's Rainforest Room so i didnt like the idea of led cuz its Mad expensive but i dont need a hood (reflector) for it so it would be around the same price as a hood with multiple lights. Im not sure if one jungle Dawn led is enough at the end dartfrogs dont need much light its more the plants
+Daniel Zamudio hey mate, he does I spray twice with a sprayer once before I leave for work and once when I come home. When I'm not there the mistking sprays twice for 20 seconds so he usually gets 4 minimum.
+Daniel Zamudio no worries I know I made a mistake when i added text and did try and clarify on another comment but even when I read my comment back it didn't make much sense lol. Always good to see people caring for animals though so no harm mate. Thanks for checking out my video though 😁
+Joe Gallagher hey I just collect them over time to be honest. If I see a good deal I will pick it up. But I will pick up plants anywhere really but always wash them and re pot for a month before adding them to any terrariums just I case of any pesticides
Philip Geraldi thanks mate. This was only temporary and I have since thined out the stock into different tanks. I have the videos of the new tanks up already and would be interested in your thoughts. The community tank will be thined out yet again soon.
+Howdy Farmer hahaha. It's not too bad to be honest. I have switched a lot of my lighting from tubes to LED's which are cheaper to run and heating equipment are on stats so not always on or not always running at 100% so this helps. Thanks for checking out my channel.

I really like your snake terrarium with the fish, and the fire bellied toads.

I hope to be that lucky some day!

For the tank that had danios u should do a bioactive paludarium set up with dart frogs
+DC GO NATION funny you should say that o think that is what it's going to be. A project for the new year.
