I needed this! Sanctification can slowly put us back into thinking that it’s our doing. It’s all His! Praise God! Thank you Jesus! Free me again from myself!
Romans 4:5-7 NASB But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, [6] just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: [7] "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED.
Its not really Sanctification's fault of why were thinking that we can be Holy on our own, its our pride, the Pride of Life. The utmost purpose of Sanctification is to make us holy and reformed to the image of Christ. Just some correction with the terms ,,
Sanctification is the process of removing all sin that was unknown when you convert to Christ. Justification is what happens at conversion, being the forgiveness of all previously committed sin. In a true conversion the slavery to sin is broken and you have freewill restored, and you must then live a righteous life, being a slave to Christ. If you willfully commit sin after conversion, you defy God and commit the unpardonable sin or your conversion was not real, lacking godly sorrow and a heart to turn from your sin, or a proper baptism.
Job 1-21 "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” 🙏 Let God’s Peace and Grace be with you all. Praise God always. Amen🙏🙌
You need to approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset: James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness [that's repentance],✷ receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. ✷Repentance means you turn from disobedience to God to obedience to God, then you continue on a path of faithful obedience to God-not sin, which is the opposite. You have to agree with this plan for the rest of your life, no matter what that costs you. Then there should be no hindrance to you being convicted of your sins and making the choice God expects from you. James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. This is always a good place to start drawing near to God: Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. That will lead you to transformation by the power of God and freedom from sin. Peace to you!
As long as you haven't found completely serenity and peace in your sin there's a way back to God. Wait not too long and test not how far can you go. God awaits with open arms - deny yourself that craves for this world and open yourself that wants back to perfect completeness under almighty God. God bless us all and give us gift of his mercy.
1¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3¶For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
This was a year ago, so hopefully you see this, but can you explain what you mean in more detail? I understand what you're saying, but I want to see if your explanation relates to my current experience. It would help a lot. God bless.
@abstractlij Nothing spells this out any clearer than what the Spirit wrote through Paul's Roman 7. Repentance becomes a lifestyle, not unto justification, but unto sanctification. Because of our still existing flesh, there's a need to confess our sins AND be cleansed of our sins. This process is genuine repentance, and it is ongoing so long as their remains sin in us. As the song goes, "prone to wander Lord, I feel it," so goes a need to turn away from our sins and go toward our Christ. Btw, God is the one who wroughts that desire in us, so it is not a work based on our own efforts. Hopefully, that aligns with what you are experiencing. If not, I guess more questions can make it clearer.
Our repentance does NOT add anything to salvation. Jesus FINISHED THAT work for salvation and when you believe HE imputes the gift of HIS righteousness to you

I feel, I can speak for my Sister @RayRay on this matter. “Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Marks Gospel 1 vs 14, 15 Even Jesus went about preaching repentance Luke chapter 23 vs 39 - 42 “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” This wrong doer faced up to his sins and excepted the penalty and saw who Christ was, saying “…Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” We now know this is a picture of repentance because the Lords response was, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Let the Word of God guide you! It is written in Psalm 66 v 18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. And if the Lord Jesus said, repent and believe the gospel and, if now we read in Acts 17 v 30 “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” this is something that must be done and it must be, complete repentance; in order, to have no regarding of iniquity. Brother Paul does not get this across, and brings in a little confusion: Our sister @ RayRay is right, at that time in his life Paul was not getting repentance quite right. The repentant sinner comes to Christ and gets saved, is given eternal life and is created a New Creation, as 2 Corinthians 5 v 17 says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” The need for repentance after Salvation, has to do with maintaining fellowship with God and the ability for active service. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John chapter 1 v 9 Because while living down here we still have the sinful nature. We are admonished in Galatians 5 v 16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Chris Barry…

It’s been a year since your post, Have you found the Savior? Do you agree, acknowledge that God has provided his Son to be the Savior of the world? The Gospel that Paul the Apostle preached is, Gods message to all: May I read from 1 Corinthians chapter 15 v 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand…” this actually is a mighty message, in receiving, makes one, to stand, when you stand there is no walking away; you cannot do both at once. Verse 2 “By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.” A famous person has done this thing, floating around the cross for a while but then departed; “…he have believed in vain.” This man’s name is Bob Dillon, he later spoke about this period of his life as going through a phase. Paul’s message is Gods provision for sinners to be forgiven and restored back to himself, in a permanent way, God seals them by the Spirit of God unto the day of redemption. Verse 3, 4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” Christs dying was for us, and he was buried for us and he rose from the dead, to give eternal life to all that would receive him, believe on his name. We have listed witnesses too, “And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. Vs 5, 6. These as it were, they, are shouting to you; all this is true!!! God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God needed a Lamb to be offered up. A life had to be given because without the shedding of blood, is no remission, John the Baptist, cried out “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Gods makeup is revealed to us, to quickly establish this, in Matthew chapter 3 we read from verse 16, listen it it clearly, “And Jesus when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water; and, Lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And, Lo, a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” So you can see the Son of God can die for our sins as man, and we are told that “…God was manifest in the flesh.” 1 Timothy chapter 3 v 16 Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day to bring justification from sins. John 1 v12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” A number of times I asked Jesus to save, but I was regarding sin in my heart when asking, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” psalm 66 v 18 says. It is a simple commandment from God, to repent, no works needed, Acts 17 v 30 “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” Just a willingness not to sin and receive the Savior. And in the Christian walk a provision for cleansing is given and that is simple as well, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all iniquity. Biggest revelation about repentance... IT IS A GIFT, NOT A GIVEN. We do not get to decide when we will quit something. I have tried. I never saw change, until I got this revelation. We cannot even bring ourselves to repentance until GOD GRANTS IT!
Good point, and repentance doesn't mean turn from sin and sin is not breaking the ten commandments. Re means go back and pent means high, or God. Sin is a falling short. When Jesus told the pharisees to repent and sin no more, he was saying go back to God and fall short no more, because their self righteous works was causing them to fall short. Grace also means unmerited favor and peace means God is not against us, or cessation of againstness. God set me free years ago by showing me the meaning of these words. My sisters are still under the works of the law and think they have to turn from sin in order to be saved. I've told them over and over that the Greek word for sin is Hamartia which means falling short. It sounds too easy to just put faith in what Jesus did on the cross and not have to do anything but accept his sacrifice.
YES! Amen! That is also what my Bible says! I have never heard of anyone, repents without Gods grace, power, help, etc. He is the One who draws you to Him. Says in Rome 2:4 - His goodness LEADS you to repentence.
Yes! I experienced one repentance that was granted by God. It was out of nowhere where , with tears pouring out , and hear His words yours sins are forgiven It was mind blowing experience
My conversion was drastic. Massive loads of practiced sin dropped off day one. But not as much as i wanted. Residual sin remains. Habit, accidental, lustful. I came to christ scared of him and in my growth i have found him and he is mighty and full of generous grace. If it were not for the grace given for my wicked sin i would have lost my gift long ago.
Yeap, same here, warching p*rn, smoking marijuana, using Gods name in vain and an addiction to gaming left me. But I still struggle with lust on a weekly basis and I give in sometimes. The best thing to do is to look back at the life you lived before you came to Christ and then see the massive work that he has done in turning you from you’re sins. This sermon has really helped me in dealing with doubt of salvation
I was crying out to God yesterday and told him I'm sorry but it just doesn't feel like I'm truly repenting but I'm doing it because I know it's the right thing to do but I'm praying to be able to truly repent
When you see you’re not upright in your ways towards God. Bless God. And the truth is you don’t even see how halfhearted you are. The closer too God, the greater the sinner will be. The more you approach Him, the more you will see that He is good and you are not. Do as brother Washer says… for every inward glance you must take at least ten long looks to the Saviour Who paid for everything. God bless you
I'm so sorry you have been mislead by this teaching, where you have to look at yourself to determine your salvation. It Is a free gift ...FREE. We don work for it. The Bible says for those who worketh not are justified. If we look to ourselves for proof, we are looking towards a sinner that deserves hell We must look to Jesus and what He said. Believe in the gospel, that he died for the forgiveness of your sins, paid the debt you owe, and rose again for our justication. If you put your trust in THAT fact, you are eternally secure. If we have to base it on our own works or behavior, we'll we definitely won't make it to heaven, because heaven demands perfection. And Jesus was thw only perfect one. If anyone teaches you that you have to look at what you're doing to determine your salvation, and not to what Christ has done, they are preaching a false gospel. Run away.
Don’t go on feelings. Confess your sins and then trust that Jesus has forgiven you. You may not feel forgive afterwards. But trust The Bible not your feelings.
@@MikejHamel True....Jesus CHRIST paid the debt in FULL, if it was up to us and our bahaviour as Sinners to be saved then there was no need for this Sacrifice of the CHRIST. Believe in the Son and the Fathers Promise that who ever believeth in the Son, should not perish, but have everlasting Life. This is what saves you.
Pray for faith. I did and God brought me to NDE testimony where I could believe in Him. Then he sent me his Holy Spirit to wrap his wings around me and fill me with joy. Just pray. That’s all it takes. He even worked a miracle for me when I was in the Neurology ICU ❤️✝️
I use to superficially pray to the LORD for humility. I knew there was something wrong with my heart but I assumed everyone does so I'd pray but shrug it off. Little did I know the LORD would take me up on that offer. He allowed everything that I was so secure in that I used as modes to build my pride at once to come crashing down. It brought me down to my knees for days praying that God would make himself known to me. He did. I thought I was saved at 9 but I was on the floor begging him to save me at 27 and the truth is I don't know what I was at 9 but I can say right now without a shadow of doubt that God is my Father and I am His child and He loves me. "Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered" and "but let those who boast boast in this, that they understand and know me, that I am the LORD" Praise God for hearing my cries.
Amen! The same happened with me. I’m 42 years old and I thought I was saved at the age of 24 and just this past year I found myself on my knees, praying to the Lord to forgive me and that I trust him. I never fully trusted God before. I say that because when I would pray, I would still have doubt about things and worry about what I was praying for. Now when I pray I know what it is to have trust in the Lord.
Im a baby believer, I have spent only 5 months since I’ve given my life to God and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. My mother had cancer when I was 9 and every since then we have read the Bible together. Im 15 now and we still do. I am reading the Bible during my own time in the day so I may meditate on it and pray to God, but sometimes I would think to myself back then, “what if my repentance was not real? Because it wasn’t as good as my mother’s?” As a little context, when my mother repented she told me she went into her closet and started sobbing for hours wanting to vomit because of her shopaholics sins, and vanity. She spend hours, the entire day, just praying to God to forgive her for so many sins that she kept mentioning. And then I felt that since I’ve been reading the Bible for so long, how come I didn’t have that same effect. My repentance happened because I was leaving something precious behind to give it to God because it hurt so much, and from there I accepted Jesus as my savior, because I knew I was going to hell because I’m a sinner ( lived 3 years everyday being afraid of everything and dying, wishing I would have never been born). But over time I spent less time over my fear of hell, and more time wanting to Love God, wanting to know what that is, wanting to suffer for God to understand what he means in the Bible on a deeper level ( since I’ve lived a strong life a ease.) My repentance was not as spiritually good as my mother’s, but I do see a big change in me. Back then I wanted nothing to do with God, I didn’t love my own family as well. I would get angry when I heard my mother putting pastors on the TV. I used to have fear of any loud noise because I was afraid it was Jesus coming to kill me. Now I trust in Jesus as my savior, and to save those I love too because he is Loving and Good. I spent so much time sinning doing my own will, and ive left that behind to seek Gods will, and praying to him to increase my faith. No matter how many times I try to “redo” my repentance, to see if maybe I didn’t actually do it before, and I could actually do it now, it never feels real. When people ask me, “Have you given your life to God?” The only image was the first time I did it in pain, so yes. I Praise God that he has shown me how good He is, and I am learning more about what it is to be a true christian. I pray that I may love Him more, obay Him more, and have faith in Him more.
You wouldn't have those concerns if you weren't saved. Also we aren't all the same. We can repent when we realise we have done wrong walking down the street. It's heartfelt repentance that matters and honestly most of us don't have the time to get in a closet and spend all day in there. Don't saying anything about your mother, but you don't need to do repentance the same way. Martin Luther used to whip himself and deny himself basic human necessities. People used to make themselves as uncomfortable as possible to kill the flesh, which doesn't work. Only confession from the heart counts, and then get on with our walk. Don't wallow in it, look to Him knowing that as we walk with Him, study the Word, pray, fellowship, we become more like Him being sanctified daily, and dying to the flesh daily Keep looking to Him and many blessings to you.
Just keep pressing in and don't let people tell you that if you don't do this, speak in in tongues, or bark like a dog that you're not saved. God is your father, you'll know when he's calling you to repentance.
I want to come to Him more in reverence for sinning against Him instead of repenting out of fear. I’ve been trying to break this cycle for so long. I know He loves me but I want to be so much more compelled by the cross. I need a softer heart. I know I believe but it’s so hard to perceive Him….. With that said, as I continue to listen to this video, I’m so convinced God has been working in my heart! Thank You Jesus!!
That’s accurate. That’s similar to saying one believes in the power of prayer. When the goal should be, being in God’s Will, demonstrating this by Obedience to the Call to prayer, to which Jesus urges us. It is in the Almighty in whom we place our Faith (which is a gift, not of ourselves, lest we sin, boasting.)
I really needed to hear this message because I cry over my sin because I don’t have perfect repentance. But I want to get there. As close to perfect as I can at least, so I’m so grateful for this message!!!
Repentance for me has always been on going. I can’t explain it, I somehow just know what he is saying is the true way of repentance. Years of praying for repentance, I just never felt it, I just never knew I was in repentance until I broke down begging God desperate, afraid, crying. He broke through when finally humbled myself I went from guilt of my sins to ashamed! Even in the prayer I was praying ( begging) I did not stop until I broke. It was amazing to feel the Holy Spirit reach me. Surround me with His love, mercies and His grace. That little prayer he’s speaking of was not the way! I never stop repenting; every day I am a sinner. I don’t check for those sins of that day anymore because I trust Him that I am a sinner, I don’t question Him anymore! Trust and Believe Him.
There is a dangerous thing about learning about the word from other people and that it is because of too much knowledge. Hear me out when I first repented I was saved I felt amazing and I was holy I literally didn’t sin for 2 months I wanna say. Then the first time I fell back into sin I wondered if I would ever be forgiven which I found out I would be, but I feel the thing that leads me back into sin is knowing God will forgive me which is why I don’t like it when people say we will always sin even after repentance. LIKE YES WE ARE SINNERS BUT DONT BLAME SINS ON THE FACT THAT WE ARE SINNERS BECAUSE WE SHOULD TRY EVERYTHING NOT TO SIN. Now ofc some people are genuine and they do try hard but the reality is they think they can get away with anything but they cannot. So I ask that those who accepted Christ and have sinned to try this with me. Have your mind go blank and focus on everything you did when you first repented, allow the Holy Spirit within you take over and make all knowledge and thought go away, and enter a complete silence and just sit and listen to what the Spirit of God says to you and then speak of it out load, and start fresh from where you left off after you repent and keep the consequences and thought that God knows your heart and that you should not lie to yourself be scared of it that you don’t do it. Fear the magnificence of God’s mercy and follow that fear and don’t take it for granted. Amen❤️🙏
@@RayRay1Corinthians15 there is no wrong way to use scripture. The only way you can use it incorrectly is if you twist the words so I know what I said and God knows my heart
Unfortunately, the thing that will always lead us back to sin is ourselves. We believe and we pray and we repent. We give ourselves over and die to that self so that we may follow Sovereign God, and before we know it we are thinking we have some semblance of righteousness that we've earned. Jesus Christ is the only answer to what reconciles us to God. God's righteousness demands justice and the wages of sin is death, but in His mercy and goodness, He has provided the perfect sacrifice in His Son, Jesus Christ. So no amount of repentance will ever gain us favor with God, as we will never be perfectly without sin on this earth, but my claim to salvation is in Jesus Christ, whose blood is my righteousness!
What Christians lack is continuously walking in the first love or intimacy with the Lord. Scripture says "if we walk in the light as He is in the light then we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all unrighteousness." There is an ongoing regeneration work of the Holy Spirit in our life as we walk in fellowship in the light. Also to walk in the Spirit and you shall make no provision of the flesh. When we do sin, we have an advocate with the Father, the man Jesus Christ, but those who call the name of the Lord must depart from iniquity.
"growing in repentence", "progress not perfection," these are the words I like to hear, because none of us is good enough to save ourselves. Grace is a free gift, but goodness seems to come in its own good time.
I've been a believer for over 40 years and I'm still stuggling with repentance. I don't steal anymore. I don't curse the way i used to. Yet i still struggle with Lust and i hate this about myself. I just wish it would go away. It sometimes feels that I'm only one lustful thought or secret sin away from hellfire. This creates torment and anxiety. I should know better and be much more mature than i am. Im also a recovering alcoholic which really started during Covid Ive been clean and sober for 15 months now. This has not been a fun journey. I also discovered recently that i am on the autustic spectrum. What more can i say. Lord please help.
The best way to overcome these things in my experience is to read the Bible daily and to dedicate time throughout the day to prayer. It also helps to sing hymns to God, it does something that really helps
I’ve needed this exact video for a long time. Thank you Lord for putting this video in front of me❤! I am impatient by nature and I have continued to misunderstand that repentance and salvation is a process. For a long time I felt I was being ignored by the Lord, getting on my knees and praying with such desperation and not feeling what I thought I should be feeling. Keep Him in your heart and be patient. PROVE yourself to him and He will then prove himself to you! God Bless you all!
I can relate to this statement. Often I have felt that same desperation and wandered where are you God because I'm sick with Co,vid and I don't understand. I didn't feel him. I then remembered Paul Washer once said at times when you can't feel God you can trust his character and his word. I thought about that but desperately needed to feel his presence and then a thought came to me about how I could be sicker and I believe that was from God. I was thankful to God for making mine and my husbands sickness alot less severe than it could been then I felt him. Always remember to give him thanks in everything like Paul said. Trust him and his word.
Oh, Paul, in my case, I always felt guilty that I was doing it good enough, repenting that is. Not until I found Reformed theology and understood the doctrines of grace did I test in Christ. I was always looking at myself and despairing. It wasn’t arrogance, it was fear. I’m grateful for you. This video helped immensely.
Wow, I'm Colombian and that was all I needed, now I can understand why I haven't been able to grow in faith and repentance even though I'm listening to it after 13 years is so helpful this message, what I liked more was this: I'm fallen, but he can, I'm looking unto Jesús Amen.
Yes, it's all about Him! Jesus, be the centre in my life, I am so small but You are so great! Be the centre in my life when I face the temptations of sin, be the centre when I tell the gospel to others! Let me not be self centered, but Jesus centered!
This teaching truly highlights the “narrow” gate… I see the walk, metaphorically, through “bowling” with spiritual “bumper lanes”… it is so easy to veer too far off one way or another. Also shows the importance of “daily bread” to keep us as single-eyed & centered as we can be in receiving His new mercies each day.
Jesus doesn’t want perfection, if that was the case the man on the cross wouldn’t have even been a thought. He meets you at where you are, sees your strengths and weaknesses, and when the Holy Spirit truly is in you, you won’t be perfect even then, but God being merciful and compassion knows every part of you and loves you the same. There is no such thing as a perfect human even after the holy spirit gets in you, but renewing your mind a striving to be and walk how Jesus walked and seeking and loving him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength! He will do the rest! God Bless!
Ezekiel 33:8-9 "If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul." Ezekiel 33:11 "Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?"
Pastor Washer, Quality into the a real faith and whom I look to in the eternal God. I truly hope I can see what my repentance is a turning away from the old me, and not trying to define my salvation under my terms but reflect the true God's terms instead. PS, thank you for speaking about this it gives me a lot to think about and reflect on. So I hope that I will be able to get my sea legs back on this flatlander world and always look upon the unseen God in his right ways and conform to his perfect will.
As I grow more and more with the Lord, I understand that daily repentance is important. I cry out to the Lord all the time for help . I want to get closer and closer to our Lord and savior. I’m always asking the Lord to forgive me and to never leave my side.
It is ONE major thing I see missing in this, that when you are converted it is the Holy Spirit that keeps you from sinning. You dont grow in repentence, you grow from glory to glory faith to faith. Jesus says if anyone come after him, deny self, pick up the cross daily, and follow. You just have to give up trying to be righteous and believe that HE will keep you if you abide in his Word( walking in obedience to the Word).
@Outdoors for a Change The Blood of Jesus Christ does. The scripture says We are cleansed of ALL unrighteousness 1 John 1. The scripture also says all unrighteousness is Sin 1John 5:17. Therefore, if all unrighteousness is Sin, and we are cleansed of all unrighteousness, then we are cleansed of all sin. God does not cleanse us just to get back dirty. The scripture also says whoever you yield your body to is your master, sin or Righteousness in God. Romans 6:16
Gracias pastor Washer, porque después de muchos años caminando con el Señor uno puede volverse religioso (orgulloso) se nos puede olvidar que El provee el querer
Thank you for posting. I question my salvation, especially after hearing a preacher sya that anyone with an addiction isn't a Christian. Add to that the fact that I am nore if i was saved as a child when I asked my Sunday School teacher to pray for me of when i was an adult and I came to Christ to renew my commitment and faith in Him.
The Gospel's message calls people to repentance and faith (Acts 20:20-21). Repentance is about turning from disobedience to God (sin) to obedience to God (righteousness). And faith is about obeying God continuously or faithfully. That is why it's a journey, not a moment's decision about accepting some facts as true (like Jesus came to save sinners, suffered and died and rose again). All that must be believed (not be doubted) but that saves no one without a commitment to obey Jesus. Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of eternal *salvation to all those who obey Him* Obeying Jesus or following Him puts someone on a path that is opposite to the path of following after sin. So, if someone's focus is to obey Jesus, that by itself will put an end to sinning deliberately because that is the opposite of obeying Jesus. Luke 9:23 And he [Jesus] said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and 👉 follow me."
@@yestothetruth Romans 4:5-7 NASB But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, [6] just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: [7] "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED. Repentance is absolutely not about turning from sin but agreeing with God about sin. If repentance were about turning from sin then salvation would not be received until you overcame sin. Nowhere in scripture does it ever describe turning from sin as a measure of receiving salvation. It is talked about but it is a measure after salvation not before. Otherwise the narrow Path would be a mouse hole.
@@bobbyrice2858 You mean agreeing with God that sin is evil and keeping on doing evil because you think there is no other option than to be ungodly and continuing to be ungodly while claiming justification. I believe you, that you think that is the message of the Bible, but you are in error and without humility you just can't see your errors or see sin like God sees sin. I have nothing else to add.
I needed this sermon...I've been wanting and expecting perfect repentance..but now I see through scripture..Luke 8:15..It's says the seed that falls on good ground and with a honest and good heart bring forth fruit with patience...the key word that helped me understand was PATIENCE..so now I don't beat myself up if I'm not there yet...keep fighting the good fight!
No man can come to God except the Father draw him by His Spirit. When that man then responds to the drawing of God, and in turn ciries out and seeks God with all his heart, mind and soul...He shall be found of HIM....and he shall be saved. Ask and it shall be given you, Seek and ye shall find, Knock and it shall be opened unto you. Even the demons believe...it is not enough just to "believe". Repentance is an on going process, we always have need to repent... Amen..
I hope that one day God will give me a chance to meet you to say thank you for so many wonderful things that I learn by watching your videos. Sometimes I laugh joyfully and sometimes I weep tearsfully. God bless you, Brother Paul!
It feels like I theologically know my repentance and faith doesn’t have to be perfect but how do I even have it at all? How do I even have just a sliver of saving faith and repentance and when I thought I have I realized I didn’t and I’m still the same, I don’t want to be the same anymore I want to love God and follow Jesus
Repentance is "God be merciful to me a sinner". Luke 18:13 "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.".
I tried to want to get to the place to give up everything. I could not but I finally gave up and gave God! I asked him to be my Lord and Savior and help me to surrender the things I was even struggling to want to give up! It will be a long walk but with the Lord by my side anything is possible! If you are reading this and you can’t get to 100 percent repentance fall to your knees surrunder that. If you wait to get to 100 percent it will never come! Come how you are just like Matthew did! Ask and plead to God save me dear Lord save me! Come to the end of yourself!
Hi I'm Matthew and I want to ask if anyone that reads this will you please pray for me I have serious strongholds that are holding me back as a born again Christian and it hurts my heart when I feel so weak and not in control that I sin and I know I shouldn't but I do the very thing I don't want to I so greatful that Jesus never changes and his love for me is eternal, but these strongholds hurt me and my relationship with my creator and I don't want that please pray for me thank you God bless
Well Paul, you are one of the people that make folks feel like they are never repentant enough. I’ve heard his sermons and he always decrees that you do have to have complete and perfect repentance to be saved. This man burdens Christians with the laundry list of proofs of repentance.
I am Thankful and forever a Slave to Christ because God gave me an opportunity to Repent. This is a GIFT. Nothing of my own doing. If I had to Repent on my own willpower, I would be damned to hell. Thank you JESUS!!!!
We all sin every day as long as we are still in the fallen mortal state. But if you are a believer in Jesus Christ your identity are righteousness in Christ. So just rest in His grace.
That was really refreshing to hear, very good message, makes perfect sense, I wish I heard this when I was a younger believer. When I have listened to Paul Washer before (shocking youth message) I found him to be sounding like this awesome repentance was needed but this points things in context. I agree with what he has said here. Amen...
Paul Washer is not justifing sin Jesus died to cover it. If anyone thinks that they live their live sin free they just lied! We need Jesus to cover sin wither in our heart or in the flesh.
His comparing a 10 month old child with a 6 year old is misplaced. Sanctification begins and continues to become a reflection of our Saviors calling to repentance. Becoming is doing. Repentance and sanctification via God’s grace. God knows the intent of our heart. People quit playing with the world and your cravings. Repentance is a change of mind AND direction. Take part in a local Bible believing church.
@simplythebest444 Agreed. That's all Paul was saying. Salvation must be followed by a changed life. Any person that claims to be saved yet live completely contradictory to 1 John, is not really saved. I know people who did the "prayer thingey" then never changed at all ever. Yet some churches tell them are saved. Yes.......no one is perfect, but you will desire and strive to be pleasing to God and be more like Jesus. ie.....less sin......ie repent
I experienced a true repentance once. It was in a Church during sermon. There was a 1-2minute quiet repentance time. Out of nowhere,.i.started to cry and saw my sin. The selfishness in every human being, that I also have . That how horrible it is . I cry for forgiveness. And hear pastor say your sins are.forgivven. (before , I never considered it as a sin that I need.to repent and I would never have tears pouring out because I am as selfish as other human beings.)
I can't explain how it happened. Because that topic of the sermon has nothing to do with selfishness , it was talking about holy Spirit. And I was in a very distant mind state with God during that time. But the tears and crying for forgiveness was so strong and spontaneous. I felt that I was touches by the holy Spirit for a brief moment
Wow....praise God that is an amazing testimony I have a similar testimony brother I used to do that twice a day and now i don't/rarely do it when i do its because of that struggle with sin in that I'm not perfect..but I know that God will free me of it
@Afrikitty ..It was Christ that said, "Unless ye REPENT ye all shall likewise PERISH...Without repentance you will NEVER see God, regardless of what Christ did on the cross. What Jesus did was so we through his Spirit can accomplish the impossible to the carnal mind...FAITH.
In 1976, when I was 13 years old, I had a wide awake, real, in full color VISION of the Lord's Return... We lived out in the country in the middle of dusty plowed fields, dirt roads and woods in south Georgia. Everything looked kind of brown and crispy, like it needed rain bad. The corn field across the road in front of the house was starting to turn brown and die. I went to my bedroom, which faced out the front side of the house and looked out onto our front yard, which had a semi-circular dirt driveway and beside the left entrance was an old dogwood tree which had to be at least a hundred years old. Highway 341 ran from east to west in front of our house, which faced north, and the cornfield I spoke of earlier was on the other side of the highway. There was a slight rise in the middle of this field and you could not see the trees on the other side, so it looked like an ocean of corn that went off into the horizon. As I lay across my bed looking out the window, contemplating what I saw before me, I began to hear music in the distance. I specifically heard it in my right ear and the direction from which it came made me think of the high school band which practiced several miles southeast from where I lived. When conditions were right we could hear the band playing, but usually only heard the faint beat of drums. This sounded like trumpets and as I was thinking this to myself, I began to notice the music getting louder and louder, coming closer and closer, very quickly. Within a few seconds the sound wasn't just something that was exterior, but it was inside my head as well, reverberating throughout my entire body. It was so loud and it sounded like lightning crashed directly over my head and, in that split second, the trumpet sound thundered throughout my body and throughout the entire world...everything went dark and my bed and the earth shook violently. In a flash, I was no longer lying on my bed, but I was standing outside my bedroom window in the front yard and I beheld the scene in front of me with tremendous awe. It was still my front yard, only now everything was different. It seemed as if my entire range of vision was a huge 3D movie screen and I was in the middle of it. The trumpets continued to sound and I saw that the blue, sunny sky had turned black and the clouds churned and the wind blew with a violence that I had never experienced. The corn field was now a sea of wheat that was golden brown and ripe for harvest and I could see every stalk of wheat individually, billions of them. And I watched as the wind thrashed the wheat until it was beaten down by the storm. I now know that the Bible speaks several times about, in the end time, when the wheat is ripe for harvest, how the wheat will be separated from the tares. The tares are gathered and bundled together for burning and the wheat is gathered into the barn. Then I noticed the dogwood tree. It was mid-July, so of course I know there should not have been any blossoms on it, they usually bloom around Easter...but the tree was in full bloom. I had never seen anything like this. You couldn't see any leaves on the tree because of the millions of dogwood blossoms. It looked as if it were lit from within, by a glowing whitest of white, neon light and it glowed gloriously against the darkened sky. Now, I know the Bible says no man knows the day nor hour that Jesus will return, but if we watch for the signs, we can know the season. I have always felt that He might come back in the spring when the dogwood tree is in bloom. Of all the things that could have been highlighted in a vision; why the dogwood tree? I believe there is a specific message here. (Update: recently, I prayed about this and I feel the Lord placed into my spirit that this represents the fullness of the gentiles coming in). Just as I was taking all of this in, lightning filled the sky and the trumpets thundered over head again and in an instant there appeared two angels. They were dressed in white robes, facing each other up in the air and blowing golden trumpets. They were huge and filled the sky in front of me and I knew that the entire world must be seeing this as well. When I say huge, I mean like the size of the highest mountains, literally. I didn't think the trumpets could get any louder, but they grew louder still, building to a great crescendo and I heard a great shout that was louder than anything that you could imagine. And with that shout, it's as if the earth fell silent, the black, violent clouds began to roll back onto themselves from the center of the northeastern sky and I saw light in the distance. It was more a combination of light and clearing of the clouds in the distance that got my attention. As I looked up at this shaft of light and clearing sky, I saw what seemed to be fluttering and movement in the distance. As it came into view, I saw Jesus on a white horse and behind him were millions of angels and saints on white horses. It was at this moment, when I realized what I was seeing, that it disappeared and I was back in my room lying on my bed. Everything was back to normal and I was again looking out at a bright, sunny day.
There are so many enemies of the faith who are using the incident with Steve Lawson to attempt to say that because of his moral failing, it is demonstration that he was not saved. No one has a perfect repentance as long as we live in these unglorified, fallen bodies, and the only thing that the incident with Lawson proves is that even the best of us are desperately in need of the grace of God.

I wish i had heard this years ago when i became a christian. As far as i had known, perfect repentance should have been instantaneous. It wasn't. All these pastors and other christians acting like i should be perfect, immediately, or im not saved. So when i wasn't, i got discouraged, and all but gave up. I still prayed, still asked for forgiveness, but because i was left with the assumption that its immediate, i felt that maybe i wasnt called or chosen by God. Its very discouraging to live this way.....read your bible brothers and sisters! Thats 1 mistake that i wish i could go back and change. I read my bible, but i didnt actually read it. There were stories i liked, but i never actually went in-depth with them to truly understand them.
If not, you don't believe in the true gospel. Have you not read the bible? If you believe on Jesus you HAVE eternal life. I recommend Onorato Diamante. Search for his videos about the gospel of grace.
As with all human talk about spiritual matters, when we think we have it all figured out; we still come short of fully understanding Godly matters. Talk is sweet, but the Word weighs the heart of man. Motive. When I read Romans 7:21-25(21-23), I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who will to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” it is an ongoing process of growth and salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord and savior. Saved 45 years, the ups and downs of the Christian life of faith.

The realization I finally came to about true repentance is, though we may never achieve sinless perfection, we have to constantly strive for it.

Its not really Sanctification's fault of why were thinking that we can be Holy on our own, its our pride, the Pride of Life. The utmost purpose of Sanctification is to make us holy and reformed to the image of Christ. Just some correction with the terms ,,
Amen, well said.. 🙏
Job 1-21 "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” 🙏
Let God’s Peace and Grace be with you all. Praise God always. Amen🙏🙌
Please help me lord. I want to feel convicted more about my sin
You need to approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset:
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness [that's repentance],✷ receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
This is always a good place to start drawing near to God:
Psalm 119:11
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

@@bobbyrice2858 what do you mean by that?
One way of discerning true repentance is that it is ongoing.
Jesus FINISHED THAT work for salvation and when you believe HE imputes the gift of HIS righteousness to you
Amen! Repentance is not a one time work, but a continual work of grace, towards eternity.
Paul Washers sermons are so straight to the heart... & very sensitive & so honest... what a wonderful pastor🙏🏻
Father I need you! Please help me I’m lost without you and I need a savior. Walk me through true repentance and forgiveness for all.

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Marks Gospel 1 vs 14, 15 Even Jesus went about preaching repentance
Luke chapter 23 vs 39 - 42 “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”
This wrong doer faced up to his sins and excepted the penalty and saw who Christ was, saying “…Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” We now know this is a picture of repentance because the Lords response was, “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
Let the Word of God guide you!
The repentant sinner comes to Christ and gets saved, is given eternal life and is created a New Creation, as 2 Corinthians 5 v 17 says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
The need for repentance after Salvation, has to do with maintaining fellowship with God and the ability for active service. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John chapter 1 v 9
Because while living down here we still have the sinful nature.
We are admonished in Galatians 5 v 16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

It’s been a year since your post, Have you found the Savior?
Do you agree, acknowledge that God has provided his Son to be the Savior of the world? The Gospel that Paul the Apostle preached is, Gods message to all: May I read from 1 Corinthians chapter 15 v 1
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand…” this actually is a mighty message, in receiving, makes one, to stand, when you stand there is no walking away; you cannot do both at once.
Verse 2 “By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.”
A famous person has done this thing, floating around the cross for a while but then departed; “…he have believed in vain.” This man’s name is Bob Dillon, he later spoke about this period of his life as going through a phase.
Paul’s message is Gods provision for sinners to be forgiven and restored back to himself, in a permanent way, God seals them by the Spirit of God unto the day of redemption.
Verse 3, 4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
Christs dying was for us, and he was buried for us and he rose from the dead, to give eternal life to all that would receive him, believe on his name.
A life had to be given because without the shedding of blood, is no remission, John the Baptist, cried out “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”
Gods makeup is revealed to us, to quickly establish this, in Matthew chapter 3 we read from verse 16, listen it it clearly, “And Jesus when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water; and, Lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And, Lo, a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
So you can see the Son of God can die for our sins as man, and we are told that “…God was manifest in the flesh.” 1 Timothy chapter 3 v 16
Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day to bring justification from sins.
John 1 v12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
A number of times I asked Jesus to save, but I was regarding sin in my heart when asking, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” psalm 66 v 18 says.
It is a simple commandment from God, to repent, no works needed, Acts 17 v 30 “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”
Just a willingness not to sin and receive the Savior.

It was out of nowhere where , with tears pouring out , and hear His words yours sins are forgiven
It was mind blowing experience

Paul Washer is such a gift. Truly a Godly man whom I have nothing but respect for.
No he is not. He teaches Calvinism and is a heretic.
This video is 13 years old and still blessing people... I know it blessed me.
If we look to ourselves for proof, we are looking towards a sinner that deserves hell
We must look to Jesus and what He said.
Run away.
That is repentance. Don't believe all the lies. We are all such sinners.
Thank you LORD for convicting me of my sins. You are holy
I have been with christ for. Over 33 years and I'm still learning and growing you never stop
But over time I spent less time over my fear of hell, and more time wanting to Love God, wanting to know what that is, wanting to suffer for God to understand what he means in the Bible on a deeper level ( since I’ve lived a strong life a ease.)
My repentance was not as spiritually good as my mother’s, but I do see a big change in me.
Don't wallow in it, look to Him knowing that as we walk with Him, study the Word, pray, fellowship, we become more like Him being sanctified daily, and dying to the flesh daily
Keep looking to Him and many blessings to you.
We can get so caught up in repentance and faith wr put our faith in repentance and faith.
He broke through when finally humbled myself I went
from guilt of my sins to ashamed!
Broken hearted doesn't save us. Come to Jesus and HE WILL NOT cast you out----. The work is done and FINISHED for salvation
Amen❤️🙏
I agree a lot with your especially that first part.I struggle with the concept of “if I sin I can just repent” often
@@RayRay1Corinthians15 I said I stayed away from the sin of lust for 2 months and not swearing and honoring thy parents
Im also a recovering alcoholic which really started during Covid
Ive been clean and sober for 15 months now. This has not been a fun journey. I also discovered recently that i am on the autustic spectrum. What more can i say. Lord please help.
Praying for you! ✝️❤️
May God see you through
I often feel same way.
The best way to overcome these things in my experience is to read the Bible daily and to dedicate time throughout the day to prayer. It also helps to sing hymns to God, it does something that really helps
Brother how are you doing?
I’ve needed this exact video for a long time. Thank you Lord for putting this video in front of me❤! I am impatient by nature and I have continued to misunderstand that repentance and salvation is a process. For a long time I felt I was being ignored by the Lord, getting on my knees and praying with such desperation and not feeling what I thought I should be feeling. Keep Him in your heart and be patient. PROVE yourself to him and He will then prove himself to you! God Bless you all!
Related, Praise God 🙏🏼🛐💯🙌🏻
I can relate to this statement. Often I have felt that same desperation and wandered where are you God because I'm sick with Co,vid and I don't understand. I didn't feel him. I then remembered Paul Washer once said at times when you can't feel God you can trust his character and his word. I thought about that but desperately needed to feel his presence and then a thought came to me about how I could be sicker and I believe that was from God. I was thankful to God for making mine and my husbands sickness alot less severe than it could been then I felt him. Always remember to give him thanks in everything like Paul said. Trust him and his word.
Thanks brother paul.God is using you to help me grow in his grace.I am weak but our Lord is my faithful rock.
Hebrews 6:1,2 let us move on to maturity.
Paul Washer I can’t thank you enough for this I have been having problems with repentance 😀❤️🙏🏽🌻
Wow, I'm Colombian and that was all I needed, now I can understand why I haven't been able to grow in faith and repentance even though I'm listening to it after 13 years is so helpful this message, what I liked more was this: I'm fallen, but he can, I'm looking unto Jesús Amen.
I rewatch this video to help me feel more assured of my salvation. Thank you so much Mr Walker, all the Glory goes to Jesus.
I REALLY needed to hear this. The doubt of salvation comes from this feeling of “non perfect” repentance. Thank you Jesus!
Yes, it's all about Him! Jesus, be the centre in my life, I am so small but You are so great! Be the centre in my life when I face the temptations of sin, be the centre when I tell the gospel to others! Let me not be self centered, but Jesus centered!
Amen!
Lord help me, in Jesus' name I pray...Amen
Jesus doesn’t want perfection, if that was the case the man on the cross wouldn’t have even been a thought. He meets you at where you are, sees your strengths and weaknesses, and when the Holy Spirit truly is in you, you won’t be perfect even then, but God being merciful and compassion knows every part of you and loves you the same. There is no such thing as a perfect human even after the holy spirit gets in you, but renewing your mind a striving to be and walk how Jesus walked and seeking and loving him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength! He will do the rest! God Bless!
Amen , very well put.
Repentance is not an ongoing “work” , it simply means to change one’s mind.
Yes true 360 degree turn around
Ohh, Pastor Paul Washer was so young there! God bless this man of Truth!
This helps us to be patient with ourselves, to constantly to grow in repentance, to be patient with other believers because we are all growing.
As I grow more and more with the Lord, I understand that daily repentance is important. I cry out to the Lord all the time for help . I want to get closer and closer to our Lord and savior. I’m always asking the Lord to forgive me and to never leave my side.
In tears. Jesus is the Salvation and work in my life, but Mr. Washer please give me one hour of your time. I have no one to counsel me.
Amen!
But how? How to deny myself? In my own strenght again?
Holy Spirit does not remove sin from our lives but rather the power of sin in it. Big difference.

The scripture also says whoever you yield your body to is your master, sin or Righteousness in God. Romans 6:16
i haven’t came across a Paul Washer video in a long long time, but i feel very GOOD about this video. I love it!!
Dear brother, you must move away whatever addiction you are taking about, there is no compromise! Be strong in Christ!
Please Father God I Pray That You Help Me Learn And Acceive Better Repentance
The Gospel's message calls people to repentance and faith (Acts 20:20-21). Repentance is about turning from disobedience to God (sin) to obedience to God (righteousness). And faith is about obeying God continuously or faithfully. That is why it's a journey, not a moment's decision about accepting some facts as true (like Jesus came to save sinners, suffered and died and rose again). All that must be believed (not be doubted) but that saves no one without a commitment to obey Jesus.
Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of eternal *salvation to all those who obey Him*
Obeying Jesus or following Him puts someone on a path that is opposite to the path of following after sin. So, if someone's focus is to obey Jesus, that by itself will put an end to sinning deliberately because that is the opposite of obeying Jesus.
Luke 9:23
And he [Jesus] said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and 👉 follow me."
Romans 4:5-7 NASB
But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, [6] just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: [7] "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED.

Paul def preached on holiness. He preaches on the full gospel. We need more that preach on the whole gospel!
Amen..
Let God’s Peace and Grace be with you all. Praise God always. Amen🙏🙌
Thank you brother Washer
God bless you.
I hope that one day God will give me a chance to meet you to say thank you for so many wonderful things that I learn by watching your videos. Sometimes I laugh joyfully and sometimes I weep tearsfully. God bless you, Brother Paul!

Now I try to do right because he is my Lord.
Great teaching today. Beautiful.

Have you been born again yet?

Well Paul, you are one of the people that make folks feel like they are never repentant enough. I’ve heard his sermons and he always decrees that you do have to have complete and perfect repentance to be saved. This man burdens Christians with the laundry list of proofs of repentance.

That was really refreshing to hear, very good message, makes perfect sense, I wish I heard this when I was a younger believer. When I have listened to Paul Washer before (shocking youth message) I found him to be sounding like this awesome repentance was needed but this points things in context. I agree with what he has said here. Amen...
My question is well answered, patience is the key.
This has helped me a great deal more than I can comprehend right now. Thank you so so much God.
Grace. How can we hold those in the light of perfection when we ourselves come to god in need of healing
Great sermon. God bless Paul Washer.
Paul Washer is not justifing sin Jesus died to cover it. If anyone thinks that they live their live sin free they just lied! We need Jesus to cover sin wither in our heart or in the flesh.
Thank u brother Paul for this message 🙏 it means so much to me
His comparing a 10 month old child with a 6 year old is misplaced.
Wow....praise God that is an amazing testimony I have a similar testimony brother I used to do that twice a day and now i don't/rarely do it when i do its because of that struggle with sin in that I'm not perfect..but I know that God will free me of it
When I had given my life to Christ, I aimed for obedience and repentance became my lifestyle. I am repulsed by sin.
I agree with brother Paul Washer.
1¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3¶For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
like i said, say what you want,im still gonna hold to the scriptures,im done..grace and peace
I wish I could push the like button more than once.
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and still have no reassurance.
Thank you for sharing this.
If not, you don't believe in the true gospel. Have you not read the bible?
If you believe on Jesus you HAVE eternal life.
I recommend Onorato Diamante. Search for his videos about the gospel of grace.
Dear Sarah, may I ask you why you have no reassurance of your salvation? What hinders you from from being sure of this?
