@@ameyvikramsingh6755 i want the days back when we had no divide between the players that represented the country ( from a fan's perspective). Can we no longer criticize the players when they are faltering without being biased and brining someone else into conversation? We care about winning matches and of course the individual contributions matter but this fictionist divide will hurt us. Both the seniors haven't pulled their weight around and we haven't been a good batting unit for a long time
Rohit Sharma’s last 12 scores: 6, 5, 23, 8, 2, 52, 0, 8, 18, 11, 3, 6. Rohit Sharma’s last 4 match results as captain: Lost, Lost, Lost, Lost these numbers raise serious concerns about both his batting form and captaincy Cricket Twitter, what’s your take on this?
Then please tell me who is scoring?. Everyone failed equally in this test.Stop blaming the seniors, i agree that they should have performed but the so called youngesters are also not performing except N. K. R
Both Kohli & Sharma are beyond their peak. Should not be part of the next WTC cycle, unless India wants to play a 39 & a 40 year old in the next WTC cycle final (assuming that we qualify). They will score an odd hundred here and there but won't be the match winners as they were looked upon in the previous cycle. (And their individual fan base will go ecstatic time & again when that happens 😂) but that can be said about Rahane & Pujara too. These are good batsmen but well past their best years. Selectors have to take a call after this WTC irrespective of the outcome of BGT / WTC on senior players.
It's fine, why do you expect too much from anyone go the hell and do your job in your personal life and don't engage in cricket so much from the outside automatically when there will be no expectations from them they will definitely perform it's nature. Have you ever seen that kind of road walk and blockage in Australia when they win any wc of course no, because they don't care about the result and try to focus on playing good cricket. It's our population fault that they keep too much expectations keep your expectations down and see the performance. Notice the perth test second innings when no one expected that kind of partnership, it came and blessed
yes, I told my dad the same thing and he said look at what happened to those who opened their mouth bluntly and honestly. BCCI ensures that they are no longer found around cricket. On the other hand, Bhogle, Gavaskar always give safe and diplomatic answers and they are around for the longest time.
Very true! When India bats, these days i always feel they are not setting the target to score 400. They feel content with reaching 320. Perhaps the thought process also changed over time
Sorryyyy.... But I don't understand why all of a sudden everyone thinks that Rohit will do something different as opener. He was opening in India in last 5 Tests...He is finished, so r Virat & Ashwin... That 100 by Virat will provide some breathing space but everyone knows, those were easy runs. He's not performing under pressure any more..
@sumitgaikwad3890 anyone who does want to overlook what has happened in last 2 months will agree with it.... Rohit, Virat & Ashwin r just playing match after match with out showing any results...and has anyone heard any Indian commentator discuss flaws in their techniques...?? Lack of skills bcz they don't play domestic cricket. Is Indian cricket private property of these individuals...?? India lost 4 out of last 5 Tests bcz we don't put runs on board..
Playing Ash was stupid decision 😔. Jaddu/ Washi are way better. Its better to give Ash a farewell at Sydney abd then MOVE ON. At home, we have better spinners & away we have better Allrounders
It’s time to talk about Kohli & Rohit. If they can’t perform in big games, they shouldn’t stay in the playing 11. Give chances to players like Sai or Jurel, who seem better suited for overseas conditions. Right now, I’d even pick Jadeja and Axar over them. Axar, especially, handles pressure better in tough situations. Another big issue is the BCCI. India’s poor performance in this D-N Test shows how far behind the board is. Australia has played 12 D-N Tests since 2015, but India has only played 4. This shows the BCCI’s lack of planning and effort. They’re the richest cricket board, but they’re slow to adopt new ideas. They resisted DRS for years, adopted T20 cricket late (ironically rich because of it only), and are now falling behind in pink-ball Tests. Instead of giving the team proper experience, the BCCI focuses on money-making series. Adding to this negligence is India's lack of preparation for the CT 2025. While other teams like Afghanistan (12 ODIs), South Africa (12), Bangladesh (12), Australia (11), England (11), New Zealand (9), and Pakistan (9) have been consistently playing ODIs since the World Cup, India lags far behind with only (6). It’s surprising how Indian fans expect the team to win major ICC tournaments when the board isn’t even preparing properly for the next one. If the board doesn't prioritize team preparation over profit, India’s performances on the global stage will only continue to decline.
Absolutely correct. The big guns lacks hunger and are on the verge of retirement... India made a mistake Rahane was a deserving candidate for test captaincy instead of Rohit sharma.... But it's time to give chance to young players
@@rafmech kohli is also struggling he has only 3 test centuries in the past 4 years and very inconsistent with the bat most of his scores are in single digits or 20 or 30s. He wants to get settled in England now that’s his only goal and let the summers come in India he will struggle like anything because England is a cold country
Because of the IPL commentry contract, nobody dared to speak out , our batsmen failed miserably .it's been the same story happening over and over except one or two instances. Look he is backing ashwin again for gabba , washi is way better in Aus conditions.
Ever since the big 5 retired, our top order is not the best quality M.Vijay, Rahne and Pujji were India's good red ball batters but we only have white ball players who don't play domestic games.
We need to move beyond Rohit. Get someone like Eeswaran or give another chance to Jurel. Let Bumrah captain. And we need Shami back in the 3rd test. He's bowled enough to prove his fitness.
Harsha as always excellent. As Indian cricket, we have excellent domestic cricket set up, and we should use that to not only select the right players for our national team, we should also help our regular national team players (the Core Members) to get in to the right shape for test cricket, it is extremely demanding for players to switch from T20, to Test. We should not use national matches for trial and error. We can make use of domestic circuit for sufficient match practice before start of the test season and decide for each players based on form and technique. This will help us in long run.
India winning is more important rather than Rohit & kohli playing for India, so many talented players are waiting in the line hungrily to perform for the country but RoKo are still greedy not satisfied with the millions they have earned so far , keep your past in your pockets at present you are as good as Devdutt padikal in the team ,if he doesn't deserve a place then you 2 also don't deserve to be in the team 😊
it breaks my heart whenever I read comments like these from idiots like you. Virat would be always be greater batsmen then rohit is or ever was in test cricket. i don't get how can people equate them both. Virat has that zeal, that hunger that determination to score in red ball cricket contrary to rohit who is just hopeless n clueless batsman. playing jurel in placeof rohit would be far more beneficial
There is no way Rohit or Kohli will score anything noteworthy in this series. Replace them with Jurel who will be our future and Padikal/Sarfaraz. They can't do any worse but will have some experience in batting in Australia, which will be handy in future tours.
Kohli already has a century to show, in this series. How many other players in the team have a century? Also to counter you, in coming games kohli will prove his worth once again when the team is collapsing he will bail us out of trouble.🤫
@@DevangChaudhary-r9gZKohli is done bro. Destiny has left his company. For last 5 yrs after losing captaincy he is seriously bruised from inside and that is reflecting in his imbalance at the crease. You can see it if you followed cricket enough. He had century in perth on flat wicket with India leading by 300 already. If not him anyone else including Reddy would have made century in Perth.
@@DevangChaudhary-r9gFrom now onwards Kohli will only score on flat pitches when India is in comfortable position given his imbalance and instability at crease. Mark my words. Kohli wont rescue India on moving pitches and India under pressure. That era has gone.
@@dr.vishalpatil3242 so this bruised man with his imbalance at the crease hit the shot of the century against pak, won you the T20 world cup final, was Pott in odi wc'23 and still has more runs to show this year then your in-form players. You are free to say kohli is done, but stats don't lie.
@@DevangChaudhary-r9gscoring a 100 with a 300+ lead and the opposition bowling attack having already given up is different to scoring a 100 when the opposition is on top of you. Even reddy looked poised to get a 100 in that 3rd innings at perth had rohit not declared, and mind you reddy has looked miles better than kohli with the bat.
Stats don't tell the entire picture, but I believe they do tell some of it. Test batting average of current SL's batting line up- Nissanka - 38 Karunaratne - 39 Chandimal - 43 Mathews - 45 Kamindu Mendis - 74 De Silva - 39 Kusal Mendis - 36 Test batting average of India's current batting line up - Jaiswal - 54 Rahul - 34 Gill - 36 Kohli - 47 Pant - 43 Rohit - 41 Reddy - 54 (Just 2 matches) -Note that Chandimal and Mathews have played much more matches across all conditions, compared to Rohit Sharma, still they have a comfortably higher average. But, but Rohit is selfless genius👏👏👏 Will like to add that even Babar Azam has a higher test batting average than Rohit. - Nissanka and Gill are almost of the same generation, having played across conditions but Nissanka has a higher batting average. Add to that he has a match winning 4th innings century in England to show. Still Nissanka is an okay player, but Gill is our prince👏👏👏 - Smith 56, Williamson 54, Root 51 - these are their career batting averages. Kohli, so called part of Fab 4 has average of 47 today. Somehow still India is a superstar champion team and SL is an average team👏👏👏👏👏 OPEN YOUR EYES, FRIENDS. INDIA IN TEST CRICKET IS NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 3 TEAMS OF THE WORLD. JUST STOP OVERHYPING A MEDIOCRE TEAM NUMBERS DON'T LIE..... Every time the bowling attack or some freak innings will not save you. If you hope that you can become the best team based on those occasional freaks, then I'm sorry you're just like Zimbabwe or Ireland, nothing else 🙂
Virat is another star living off past laurels. In Perth he was dam lucky. First 50 runs were luck runs and post that he played well. Once Rohit gets dumped, the fire would be on Virat next. Virat needs a old ball, flat wicket to get runs these days. His pet fans will not accept....lol
I know Virat has been below average in tests since 2020, improved his stats a bit in 2023 by that 186 vs Australia on flat wicket, a 100 vs west Indies and 76 vs South Africa in Centurion but no way you can say he was lucky with his first 50 runs in Perth because yes, it was almost a flat wicket at that time but there was not a single catch dropped off him, he played some audacious shots and produced a well compiled century.
@@sahtarwars8386 : Virat Pet spotted...LOL Virat was super lucky in Perth. He came in after more than a session was over and Aussie bowlers were tired. Also missed quite a few balls. He was damn lucky as usual.
4:20 i dont understand what makes you people think rohit has better skills up at the top than rahul, this isnt chinnaswamy to run down the pitch and smack sixes
India shuld play Arshdeep Singh only because he swings the ball more than Siraj and also got decent speed with good enough bounce too. Swing is what India is lacking in Australia
I don't really understand all this chat about the pink ball test experience.. India easily had the best of the conditions throughout the match and didn't capitalise. They batted during the day for their whole 1st innings and half of their 2nd. They just didn't show the temperament required to win test matches. Doesn't matter what colour the ball is if you have no discipline
Regarding Virat more than manner of dismissal, the problem is he is not able to change the match situation from say a 60/2 or 85/2. He did get his 30th 100, but when he walked in the score was 275/2 with a lead of 321 and India went ahead to win by 295 runs. So all runs that were scored after Virat walked in were virtually irrelevant for the team's total. What team wants from him is conversion of a decent start to a big score or bail out from a collapse. Not add on to a great start. 100s are not team's need, but that is the desire of media, fans and broadcasters.
Are you kidding me? Had he not scored his 10, aus would have had an actual chance to defeat India. Yes his century wasn't that much of a century but it did have the impact it was supposed to, which is the aus seeing the target as unscallable
Captain Rohit has 3 more tests. Batsman Rohit has 3-5 tests. Yet, Harsha wants Rohit to open for feel good factor and not for the future of Indian cricket. This is why Indian batting lineup is in this condition. Everyone just run bhajan mandali. It was funny when he said 2nd highest scorer of the 1st innings did not score much as an opener :)
Its not to indian batters performance at Adelaide that was a let down, but the quality of commentary by Indian commentators was a let down.Yourself,Ravi Shastri,Gavaskar are giving less air time for Indian broadcaster star sports .P S indian cricket has grown also due to the best quality commentary that sadly is missing in this series .Only Mark Nicholas is saving the show.We need Indians in aurtatlian stadium giving commentary rather than some retired cricketers giving sub par commentary from a studio in India. This is the most important series watched by all cricket fans in India and this is what we get.Dont know why all are going for cost cutting.
I am glad to hear a balanced review from Harsha garu. That's what we expect from him. I think everyone and especially the Aussie media went a bit overboard with the result in the first test. Yes, it was definitely a victory to celebrate. At the same time, to be fair, this pink ball test was always going to be the most difficult one for India in the series. At the start of the series, looking at the iternery and India's form, if someone would have said it will be 1-1 going into Gabba, India would have taken that. So, yes, this is not too bad, not yet at least. Plenty of cricket yet to be played, both batting line-ups are very vulnerable. It will come down to which bowling side is more fiery. The series is on! Bring on the Gabba test! 🙌🔥
If India harbours any hope or even wishes to win the bgt and qualify for the wtc final, three changes are a must. Rohit, ashwin and rana need to be seen nowhere near the playing XI and jadeja, washy and akashdeep slot right in. And if shami is fully fit he needs to join bumrah and siraj in the attack.
Still have more overseas hundred than Dravid Pitches b/w 2000-10 are the fkattest ever With 400-600 runs avg Mostly test ended in draws He is greater than Dravid anyday Tendulkar is too far
@@AmolAmrit Yeah still have more overseas century Dravid sir played more than him Only gavaskar and tendulkar are ahead of Virat in test cricket for india Then Dravid then vvs By that logic viv Richards have only 7.5k runs and root have 13k Who is better🤡
My playing 11 Rohit Jaiswal Gill Kohli Pant Rahul Reddy Sundar Akashdeep Siraj Bumrah. Rohit should play very aggressive like head so that if he stay in pitch for a little bit of time he can take the match away and washi in place of ash
No way mann... Head simply doesnt slog... He to have an offensive defence.... Rohit doesn't even try to so that... If he starts slogging he can score just 40-50s
Hi Harsha, I was expecting that you in your own way will make some comments on Rohit Sharma’s current form in test cricket; for which there is a reasonable sample size. I don’t know if Rohit opening ( we all saw his dismissals in the NZ home series) would create any value for the team, instead it might diminish any potential value KL could bring in. To me, hitting your way in to form in test cricket isn’t always a solution and the grinding way needs a lot of confidence on one’s defence, which unfortunately doesn’t see to be the case with Rohit. The worst part is, to me it’s clearly impacting his captaincy, something I have been a huge fan of since his initial days on captaining India…
Both Kohli & Sharma are well beyond their best, irrespective of what happens in BGT (& subsequently in WTC), they shouldn't be part of Indian Cricket Team for the next WTC final. If anyone has not realised yet Kohli & Rohit would be 39 & 40 by the time next WTC final is played. It can be justified in a country like Zimbabwe where not enough talent is coming through the ranks but not in India, where we have loads of talented young payers waiting in the wings just because "Old Guys on Past Laurels" are not ready to give up the limelight.
Great observations, Harsha! I think Rohit is feeling the heat over his batting order choices; let's hope his bat delivers in the next test. He often rises to the occasion in challenging situations!
Simple, 35 should be the upper age limit for captaincy. After that someone should take it or else we would be too much depends on the old lad, who will not perform in batting but stick with the team in the name of Captain 🤡😡
Our batting needs to step up.We have had batting collapses way too often. With the amount of ability that we have the performances are definitely not up to the mark. It’s high time the senior players need to step up
My playing 11 Jaiswal Rahul Gill Paddikil Pant Nk reddy Jurel Sunder Bumrah captain Siraj Akash deep Decent first innings score is the key No problem with bowling
Bumrah a fantastic captain who lead from the front to crush the Aussies at Perth. India suffering a humiliating defeat at Adelaide owing to change in Captaincy. Rohit Sharma is not in form and not fit for captaincy. Once Mohd. Shami comes back, it will be a good support for Bumrah. South Africa winning 2-0 vs Srilanka and with current form of the Pakistanis, cakewalk for South Africa to crush Pakistan 2-0. Let's see whether India is able to mincemeat the Aussies at Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney or it will be a 4-1 scoreline in favor of the Australia
Why is kohli still in the test team , how much of a long rope is too much . He has evidently clear technical flaws which he is not even trying to correct or change. His average from 2020 is abysmally poor to say the least . And man Rohit in overseas tests is a joke . And why is no one talking about how poor Rohit was as a captain in test format . Not this series but from the beginning. Nz series was lost due his captaincy and idiotic management decision to play on rank turners , where the difference between spinners and quality spinners is nullified. Why was harshit picked over akashdeep when he was clearly looking better with the pink ball in the practice match as well as practice . For the longest time india batting has been very poor only depending on lower middle order to bail them out . Not even one fellow except jaiswal instills confidence when they are at the crease . I know you lover rahul . But he is most useless test cricketer to have played 50 test matches . And there are many working hard and performing in first class but we suck gill's ass saying that he is a generational talent .I hope Virat and Rohit have some shame and retire before ruining their legacy and future of Indian test team . Because bcci will not remove them anyway because it operates like ipl franchise, trying to make superstar and fanbase rather than trying to win . So they will not have the guts to Remove Kohli and Rohith
As an honest fan of Virat "the batsman" since 2013(I don't like his behaviour and his captaincy previously), I feel that on the basis of age, he can still play one more cycle of Wtc till 2027 if he wants as by its end, he would be 38 something which is fine due to his great fitness but if he does not score at least one more century and one fifty in remaining 3 tests then he just can't be selected for England test series in June 2025 as he has already been mediocre in tests since 2020 and then he can happily live all his life in London.
Nishant honestly nobody is asking you what he should do after leaving cricket and you don’t like his behaviour well he dosent need your approval so FO, B.
It's simply sad. With Rohit and Virat's continued failure over the last 2 years or so, we can't depend upon him. This is beyond anger because that comes from hope, now it's just hopeless and we are just going through the motions for failure.
I think in this situation, India has given I won't say taken by Australia but given the momentum to Australia in this series and especially Pat Cummins. That guy was not in form with his bowling in the first test, but given his form in the 2nd test, he's been gifted wickets and also given extra boost for his confidence which'll definitely pressure us in the upcoming games. It just sums up that India will be not just only lost the upcoming matches and the series as well, but we'll also see some big heads to be retired after the end of this series. Not to mention whom, but people do know who are going to be retired from this series after the whitewash from Australia. And the batting of India seems to be in complete Jeopardy. I won't say Australia has the greatest bowling attack, but it completely defines how much the batters have not corrected themselves in terms of Red Ball / Pink Ball. And also, our captain - Rohit Sharma in terms of Red Ball it's better to retire from this format before the start of the Gabba Test and give the captaincy to someone else to lead instead of pushing and humiliating himself and the team. If the captain's form is not good and people come and say he's been dismissed by Jaffa deliveries all the time, it's of no use. As his form on the bat is not good, it affects other player's form too and they get a feeling if the captain doesn't do well in bat, then how can we perform ourselves. We can't depend on bowlers all the time. It's just another lame excuse. Downfall of Test Cricket for India has started: 2024 - Not sure when it'll end until Rohit's Captaincy ends for the least.
@2:23 “Ashwin bowled beautifully?” Really Harsha? Which test match were you watching 😂? I thought he picked up just one wicket in the 20 odd overs he bowled where as Sundar picked up 3 in the last match in the same amount of overs he bowled 😂 Plus if Marsh didn’t walk it s 0 wickets . Plus sundar is a much better batsman . They are going to pepper Ashwin and bounce him out , it’s easy plus his fielding 😫!
If Rohit still wants to captain the side he can play as a non-playing captain. It is ridiculous that experts like Harsha Bhogle are still supporting Rohit. Everybody wants to please the general public and not go against the norm but yet wants India to perform at the highest level. Look at how MI Indians axed Rohit and had to kind of back track. I think India has far too much talent in the wings to keep putting faith on big stalwarts like Rohit, Ashwin, Kohli & Jadeja. All of them should be given a clear signal to retire and pave way for so many youngsters some of whom may end up debuting at 30 years (if they are lucky). This is not an individual sport like a Tennis or Badminton where if you are fit and performing you continue to play. This is a team sport and so many players career can get destroyed by a few.
sirji, India has always performed well when faced with adversity....you are right Australia did structure the series so that India would be down 3-0...other then heads one innings aus batting line dont have much to show for. I think India will win this series, these guys know how to handle pressure
There no such thing as 'underdone'. If you're underdone, don't play in Test match. You might as well go play in Ranji. No hiding face for Rohit now. I am MI and Rohit fan, but no harsh words for him in your review disappointed me. Duhh!
I think India should protect Kohli and Sharma by putting Nitish Kumar Reddy in at 4. He has looked so good throughout the two tests, and he keeps coming in when India are all at sea and therefore he can't do much. If they put him at 4, he might be able to do some damage upfront, and protect Kohli in at 5, and Sharma in at 6. This leaves Pant in at 7, and I believe Pant is India's best player when he's not playing outrageous ramps etc. With this line-up, India may do a lot better, especially if Kohli fixes his off-stump weakness. Now for the bowling, India need SHAMI back. If you look back at the 2020-21 Adelaide test, in the first bowling innings for India, they had the same problem - not bowling full. But when Shami came on, he fixed their lengths up and Bumrah too bowled full. India really needs Shami in place of Rana, and with Shami's introduction, I think India's bowling will be fine.
How to put the 2nd highest scorer of the first innings and only one to build a 50+ partnership in the match for India as scoring 'not so many' runs. Good one Harsha.
India needs an reliable bowler with Bumrah....may be Arshdeep. Pant needs to improve his defence technique because he can't play aggressive that way in every situation... His defense looks very awkward i. e. not an international level player.
You see the 2020-21 BGT, yes there was 36/9. But nowhere in the series, India looked clueless apart from SCG 3rd innings. Even with injuries and absences, the team put up a fight, and oh man! I don't have to remind anyone that. But India here in Adelaide looked awful throughout the match which is a sinking sign.
"Hello! Thank you for your kind words and insightful analysis of the Adelaide test match in my opinion highlighted three crucial factors that contributed to the loss: 1.Inadequate first-innings score: Failing to post a substantial total put pressure on the team. 2. Underwhelming bowling on Day 1:The inability to capitalize on the night's conditions and take wickets led to a strong Australian foundation. 3.Bumrah's delayed: introduction not utilizing Jasprit Bumrah's skills early on allowed the Australian batsmen to settle in. Your observations demonstrate a keen understanding of the game. Keep sharing your thoughts
This is last test series of rohit sharma and may be 2nd or 3rd last test series of kohli , enjoy their game as much as possible, you will get real nostalgic about them in coming ten years
Both teams have legends who are coming to the end of their careers. Jaiswal, Gill looks the goods and will make runs. Pant needs to try and build an innings and reduce his aggressive instinct down a few notches. Reddy is a goer and I like his style. Pink ball Tests in Australia usually go the home team's way. Now back to the red ball and let's see which team's batsmen can apply themselves the best. Fascinating series so far.
Harsha, I am an avid follower of your blogs and RUclips analyses. I agree that scores of 150, 175 and 180 are not ideal for test matches, however I believe that conditions contributed to the low scores because both teams faced the same problem. Honestly, had India not allowed Head to play the way he did and let Labuschagne get out of his slump. These two batters took the game away from India. Indian bpwlers did not bowl well and the Aussies bowled ecxcellently. Your comment.

Why is this guy smiling or laughing while he is talking something serious... That's why he is out of Starsports network
It will be a big game in Brisbane. Hope you have seen what Pat Cummins has said after Adelaide victory. Aus always yearns for victory. Believe Team India will play, especially batters, a positive cricket. All the best Team India.Learn from the past and go for A solid Win.🙏
Yes as someone commented please talk about Kohli & Rohit … I wonder why we make a habit of propping up erstwhile giants of the game when they shd have long gone . Harsha as a leading light of cricket you do disservice to the game towing this line . The only player who has respectfully left active cricket was probably Sunil Gavaskar & Kapil Dev … all the rest including Dhoni (who towards the end couldn’t connect a single ball right) just lie around basking under one decent score followed by a significant number of low scores …
In your previous video, you said going into the pink ball test, India were favourites. Now you're saying australia were favourites. Dont understand why you change your analysis after the bad result.
*We won first test without Rohit, Mr. Harsha. Give me one reason Rohit is Test Captain? Is he a test legend that we need to back him legend like Smith, Virat? Is he a proven Test Capt? Last 4 Tests all lost as Capt, even 3-0 at Home!? 3-0 at home? When have you heard that for Any Indian Test Captain?*
As u spoke about Tennis, I think BCCI should influence MCC and introduce a new rule of "Non Playing Captain" as prevalent in Davis Cup whereby Rohit can be the first "Non Playing" captain and allow one more batsman like Jurel or Padikkal to play in his place. He can do the captaincy from the "dug out".
It's bumrah vs Australia batting.. our batting are very be consistent for last few years in batting 40-60 overs.. forgot test cricket.. if jaiswal fails.. nitish kumar is the exception.. after pujara.. always when I open during lunch we are 4-5 wickets down.. Rahul played for auction,so back to his normal way.. Kohli..Rohit like dhoni did have to retire midway..give opportunities for youngsters..last time they won us the series.. have to play with pride for country.. pls don't support for Kohli, Rohit ohit they got long run.. country's name should not be affected for their name sake..
The main thing is rohit don't hear anyone he don't want advices, like in previous match under bumrah kohli setting field placements and he is so aggressive in that match but in this match this is missing.
I have a big doubt on how well these players, especially the batsmen, are preparing for a series. You can’t play spin in home conditions, can’t play pace and swing in foreign conditions. There is no consistency. Even someone like a Travis Head, with his kind of aggressive style, is more consistent than a Pant and Kohli.
Perth wicket eased up a lot that's why Indian batsmen and also the Aussies were able to score well in the 2nd Perth innings. Rana was apparently more successful in the 1st Perth innings as it was an express pace pitch which turned otherwise in the 2nd innings. It gave a chance to Indians avoid a 5-0 whitewash or making it 8-0 whitewash. It is an interesting optimistic approach that Adelaide massacre was due to the fact that Aussies did a great masculine effort in the twilight with the pink stuff in hand. However, the ridiculous selection policy of retaining players who are just counting their days is hurting India big time.
Akashdeep is particularly good with new ball, he made ball talk even on spinning tracks. Siraj is good with bit older ball. Indeed we someone who is as lethal as bumrah with newer ball.
if india's batters step up, they can definetely fill in for slight weakness outside bumrah, india only conceeded 330 odd, batters need to put up atleast 270-290, top 3, pant and nitish look good to me,those 2 need to revive themselves and my intuition tells me they will
No matter what the result of the TEST Series, Both Rohit and Virat should resign from all formats. They are getting so many chances to get a 50/100. They're really blocking the way for so long 🤡🤡😡😡
I can't understand why people are taking Kohli and Rohit name in one breath. One guy has scored a century in his last match and other is just given n number of opportunity by managing a good PR. The manner in which Rohit is getting out is concerning. Fourth stump line is problamatic for almost all the player so be it with Virat. But getting out everytime a new way is a serious concern. (I am not a mad Kohli fan by the way).
When someone with your experience of watching the game from up close says "I don't understand technic", the likes of me commenting here become hopeless nonstarters about the subject. But here is my take on what else is happening with Virat other than his tendency to lunge out on the front foot. The fear of getting out seems to have taken root quite deep inside his mind. He might do well to go back in his mind when he used to walk in, reel off a quick 4-5 boundaries and then settle down to his bread and butter of singles and twos and threes. Agreed, he is not as young as he used to be, but he is still in pretty damned good shape physically to take a punt on his opening gambit and walk out without the fear of getting out. There was a time when he used to look incredulous at getting out, but now wears a look that is almost resigned to the idea of getting out sooner than later.

Even 1st Test India lost if bowlers don't restrict Australia 104 in 1st innings. If they take lead 100 plus run. They definitely win.
Good luck India! I agree that the captain should lead from the front and set the tone with a dominating performance!
Like kohali, Rohit should give up captaincy and could focus on his batting for his mental health
Both of them should not be part of the next WTC final, unless you want a play next WTC final with a 39 & a 40 year old in your side
No one has the bowls to say anything against Rohit and Kohli
@2:23 “Ashwin bowled beautifully?” Really Harsha? Which test match were you watching 😂? I thought he picked up just one wicket in the 20 odd overs he bowled where as Sundar picked up 3 in the last match in the same amount of overs he bowled 😂 Plus if Marsh didn’t walk it s 0 wickets . Plus sundar is a much better batsman . They are going to pepper Ashwin and bounce him out , it’s easy plus his fielding 😫!
Had to laugh at Ashwin's fielding, trying to run. Looking old. Sundar bowling at least as well, batting better, far superior fielder etc.
For batsmen failing you change the bowlers! What a joke!
Why nobody is talking about the drop catch of mcsweney in the first day, if it was caught then australia may loose 4/5 wickets in the first day
Correct. Is the current keeper up to standard expected?
How to put the 2nd highest scorer of the first innings and only one to build a 50+ partnership in the match for India as scoring 'not so many' runs. Good one Harsha.
No India reporter has the courage to ask for virat and rohit to be dropped.
Honestly first test win unexpected , it can be called miracle or fluke , second test didn't surprised many .... In Third test india will taste loss
why u dont blame rohit and kohli for their poor show in test since long now??easy for u to blame rana. not done sir
He literally said, you don't blame one guy.
"Hello! Thank you for your kind words and insightful analysis of the Adelaide test match in my opinion highlighted three crucial factors that contributed to the loss:
1.Inadequate first-innings score: Failing to post a substantial total put pressure on the team.

So beautifully put together…..
This is last test series of rohit sharma and may be 2nd or 3rd last test series of kohli
, enjoy their game as much as possible, you will get real nostalgic about them in coming ten years
Both teams have legends who are coming to the end of their careers.
Commentators have to be diplomatic in their discourse .
Loved the tennis analogy of 6-2 1-6 after 2 tests. Looking forward to a tie break in brisbane.
It will be a big game in Brisbane. Hope you have seen what Pat Cummins has said after Adelaide victory. Aus always yearns for victory. Believe Team India will play, especially batters, a positive cricket. All the best Team India.Learn from the past and go for A solid Win.🙏
Its fine they are professionals they will find a way they know their game better than us
The main reason for this test match is we can not utilize the pink ball on night that's make huge difference
nitish reddy has a long way to go
In the third test match India should make some changes in their playing XI.
Yes prashidh krishna in place of harshit rana
Nope I think akash deep should play because he has a great ability of nipping the ball of length which can be quite deadly on a bouncy track in gabba
India can win…Bumrah should be captain and Jurel in place of Rohit at 6…
@@rafmech Just this.
Bawasir Kooli as 12th man & VadaPav as t0ilet cleaner.🎉🎉
It is universal now that if hasha said anything he might lose❤❤his job
Because he is a paid flog of BCCI and no longer the voice of cricket
Not the first time Travis took the game away from the Indians again!
I love Harsha - he's my favourite commentator.
Travis Head's 140 turned the game...Indian batters ensured there was no fight....which is a concern...
if india's batters step up, they can definetely fill in for slight weakness outside bumrah, india only conceeded 330 odd, batters need to put up atleast 270-290, top 3, pant and nitish look good to me,those 2 need to revive themselves and my intuition tells me they will
Why no one is talking about Rohit 😐
Look how confidently jurel played in IND A match against AusA recently
No matter what the result of the TEST Series, Both Rohit and Virat should resign from all formats. They are getting so many chances to get a 50/100. They're really blocking the way for so long 🤡🤡😡😡
Yes rohit and kohli should retire from ipl also I think they wont succeed in next ipl and they will retire before msd
i am surprised Rohits place in the side is not questioned
You should stop listening to BCCI shills like him. Seek out and listen to someone who is willing to speak the truth. You might not like what they say, but atleast you wouldn't have been lied to.
Entire point of this video was to protect and prolong KL Rahul's failure as a test batter.
