I LOVED their scenes and their story. Tbh I don’t even remember the plot between her and the main lead. That’s how riveting this one was that it took center stage.

I need help to understand. Cheong Myeong stayed with her as an insect for 1300 years, and only betrayed her to save her life, how can their souls not be together and have another chance on the next life? I don't get it. I thought they would find a way to make the firefly a part of koo's soul (the part with the memory, that's why she couldn't recognize him) but it's actually another man. A great man, who helped her, but could have easily stayed as a friend, the other one also loved her and stayed with her all this time without her knowing, almost lost his existence to bring koo back to her from the tunel, cause he loved her so much (who saves other man so this man can be with the woman you love, cause it will make her happy, even if she is dead like you and the man isn't?) And then again when he showed himself to her. I don't get how their souls wouldn't reunite on the next life. And Koo lived the rest of that life alone? Missing her? This is terrible I'm mad. I thought kindred souls were supposed to find each other on other lives, was I wrong? Cause both could be her kindred soul, or one person can have more then one? But actually, as I said before, they should have made a way where they could be the same person, and the firefly being a part of his soul with the memories. I choose this end lol

the main couple was way healthier and i do believe they were each other's true love in the end, but this one just has the flavor, the angst the chemistry which caused me to look forward their story more than the current one.
These 2 are definitely my favorite couple in a drama. The ending was just heart breaking but their story was so beautiful

I think his character was the best out of all the characters in this drama..I literally stopped watching after episode 14(chun myung departure for afterlife) as I didn't bother to watch the boring and forced love story of the main lead..it actually made me furious that he waited for 1300 years just to get dumped and crossed the river all alone..
As for Lee Do Hyun, I wish him all the very best for his bright future ❤️❤️

Actually It was destiny, he was there to save manwol for committing actions that may lead her to evil spirit or may result for vanishing.. He is also the bridge and help manwol forgive chungmyung and mira... It was love the second time around for manwol... But in the drama review, lee ji eun (IU) even said that chansung is manwol's first and only love

we just fall in love in our own way differently, He chose to stay with her because He loved her,,,Man Weol loved him that's why she felt betrayed, and Cha Seung and Man Weol deserved each other, they were destined from the start actually and Chong Myeong is just a passing love after all,,,just my thought sharing with all of you guys whose hurting and loving this series just like me.

Totally one of the best. it made me cry over and over again. I couldn't get over it for almost a month. It was frustrating how sad their reality is. It is heartbreaking how she waited for so long, not knowing that he's actually just beside her. From the very start, fate has already decided that they were never meant for each other but they fought it. The guy deserved her love, but he was too late. Their love story is already over.
Hopely they will have another drama they have great chemistry I did not watch lee do hyun youth of may coz it's remind me in hotel de Luna ,but in 18 again is the best charachter for him.

This is the most heartbreaking love story in kdrama history for me, because misunderstanding not only destroyed their relationship and caused death of their loved ones, but also it filled Man Wol's heart with anger, betrayal, revenge like emotions for thousands of years just to know in the end that he just wanted to protect her and now she can't go back to him. And what hurts me the most is that he didn't even get a proper goodbye from her after watching her from far and being with her as firefly. I really loved their chemistry, hope IU and Lee Do Hyun work together again but this time as main couple

Title: Hotel Del Luna (WATCH IT U WONT REGRET)
The guy did it in order to save the girl. The girl thought the guy betrayed her but the guy married the princess and did all of those things so that the girl will not be killed by the royal family because of this the girl's best friend died thats why she's so angry to this guy in the vid and wanted to get revenge. The guy had a reason and that was to save the girl (manweol) the guy ended up getting killed by the girl so the truth wasnt revealed and it ended like that. soon after that the girl was cursed since she committed many sins she was tied down by the tree and the hotel was built (hotel del luna) which is a hotel for ghost wherein they serve ghost until they can peacefully go and cross the next life. The girl became the owner of that hotel as a punishment given to her by the deity she needs to pay for all her sins by being alive so she's basically living for more than hundred of years with torture. So shes basically dead but she's still alive and just completing her punishment in order to be reincarnated and cross the next life. Her punishment will end in the dictated time by the deity and if she will be able to serve the guest in hotel del luna good. The guy who was killed by her became a firefly. Since the beginning of the series there was always this firefly who was always around her and protecting and watching over her. Her punishment is wrapping up and she will be able to be reincarnated soon but she needs to finish her last task which is to make everyone and the staffs at hotel del luna to be able to cross the next life and be reincarnated and if everyone's settled thats the time for her to go (all the customers she had in the hotel should be able to cross the next life peacefully so she worked hard to solve all of their unsolved grudges) but the biggest plot twist is that the guy/firefly was the first ever customer of hotel del luna she need to let the firefly first to cross the next life and solve its grudge before she can cross the next life. The firefly soon revealed that it's the guy and he has always waited for this time to be able to explain and let go of his grudge and to complete his uncomplete goal in this world which is to explain the truth to the girl. But it was a bittersweet ending. It ended with a closure they both solved the misunderstanding but it was too late. They were not meant for each other. The girl was able to be reincarnated but sadly the guy cant be reincarnated because he used up all his energy to be at her side till the end.
But even in another life, they didn't end up together. That's what makes their story more tragic.
He loved her all this time and he’s been able to carry that pain and still he’s being watching her after death and not leaving her so he may reincarnate . That sad part is the people love carrying the pain and they love that feeling not everyone could do it .
