    Lions fan here. Best division in the league. I do think the bears are better than their record shows. They aren’t a “good” team but they are fine. They just have to go up against lions, packers and Vikings each twice. Which is tough

    • @NA-bi2ly
      @NA-bi2ly 3 дня назад +3

      Disagree, they are worse defensively than last year and a lot of their wins were gift wrapped (titans, rams)

    • @Youainit
      @Youainit 3 дня назад +8

      @@NA-bi2lyworst than last year?! 😂😂😂
      They are far better. Defense is undeniably better, although if Montez played the whole year last year it would be pretty even… the offense is making its way and at this pace they will finish far better than last years offense. They are two unlucky plays from 6-5… and unlucky isn’t even scratching the surface to explain how those were simply just unfortunate plays… not a great record but definitely better than last years… only had 7 W’s last year…

      @Youainit Lol so if you keep the miracle outcome against Tennessee but erase the one against Minnesota you'd have a better record? Lmao typical bears fan intelligence

      @@JohnSmith-tk7nt bears fans need to mental gymnastic their way to a 500 record after an offseason of trying to act like they were the best situation ever for a QB. Also bears went from 4th best YPC in 2023 to 4th worst in 2024. Mid pass defense tgat started good and completely collapsed

      Bears had the number one defense late in the year last year. They are getting better and shouldn't be slept on. Was rooting for them to get a win on the Vikings to help out the Packers a bit.

    Packers aren’t the 12th best running game in the league. They’re 3rd in rushing yards per game. The only teams that rush more are Philly and Baltimore. Which is largely because they obviously both have great running backs, but also running quarterbacks.

    • @UnbearablePandamonium
      @UnbearablePandamonium 2 дня назад +1

      @@enthusedfernbut rushing stats are also way more than just number of TDs… I would argue that’s probably the least important rushing stat if you’re trying to determine who is good at running the ball. Yardage/game and YPC are significantly better indicators.

    • @UnbearablePandamonium
      @UnbearablePandamonium 2 дня назад

      @@enthusedfern You're taking what I said out of context. In the video they said the Packers are 12th in rushing. THE ONLY thing the Packers are 12th in rushing in is TDs, which is misleading because by every other metric the Packers are top 7. I said rushing TDs is the least important stat when it comes to determining which teams are effectively running the ball... and that's absolutely true. I didn't say it was completely irrelevant, but if you run for 70 yards on a drive and then get a passing TD, that doesn't mean you're not effective at running the ball, it just means the final play of the drive was a passing play. Also, idk why you're bringing the Lions into this, I didn't say ANYTHING about them... I would put the Lions above the Packers in effectiveness at running the ball. I wouldn't, however, say the Packers are the 12th best team at running the ball just because that's where they rank in rushing TDs. Context matters.

    How about the fact that the one year the Lions are really good, they have a week 5 bye, the division is the best in football & they only lead the NFC by 1 game for the one seed, and if they get it they'll likely have to play against a team they've already played twice and probably only have like 5 lossess max. So as a Lions fan I'm incredibly excited but also super annoyed.

  • @kopes28

    If Love wasnt injured in that 2nd to last play of the first game of the season I think his stats would be way different in a better way. GB rushed him back when their new backup QB was playing well and the run game was doing well, and he made some bad decision and you could tell he was scared of getting hurt again and making bad decisions because he was afraid to run out of the pocket. And then he got injured a 2nd time and rushed back again after that and he was scared again, his crazy decision passes need to be worked on but he has all the skill necessary to be elite like he was the last half of last season. GB definitely needs to fix their O line issues, need to draft CB and DL heavy this next draft, and will need to find a true WR1 and keep Reed and decide between resigning Romeo or Watson. I like them both but after what happened with Doubs this season already with him not showing up for whatever reason is scary for resigning, and Watson is just so injury prone, but if they take a team friendly deal then it would be a good signing.

      They’re playing a first place schedule against 7 playoff teams, and their division is the toughest in the NFC. They have one of the more difficult schedules in the NFC

    I think the Lions are the best in the league but the Eagles are just under them. Definitely wouldn’t say they’re far away better. Eagles have very few holes and I’d argue have more talent than the Lions. Lions dunk on bad teams but play good teams pretty close.

    The Lions schedule in the beginning is poor, the rest of the way we’ll see if they can keep winning which I doubt

      @@CallmeVonBro doubt it hurt his feelings, it's just factually incorrect. Being in the best division in football makes your schedule automatically difficult.

      While it's not the toughest, it's definitely not poor. The Lions have the entire NFC North twice, the Texans, and the Bills.
      The only other team with the same record as the Lions is the Chiefs, and they're barely winning games against mediocre teams. They almost took an L to the Panthers yesterday.
