Having grown up in Andheri I can always relate to Varun's experiences, right from being born in the same year, the school starting on 13 June and petrichor always reminding you of this (even 20 years later), to the library in 4 Bungalows which only existed for one summer that Varun also visited..to loving the Hangdrum..I feel like we have lived parallel lives!
Heyy boys !!! CHENNAI REPRESENT HERE Bawa and Aadar are absolutely spot on !!! Chennai heat literally drinks you up ... Chennai mei main toilet pe baithe baithe sauna kar leta hu Tu ghar se bahar jayega, toh saath mei extra t-shirt zorari hoyesh cuz heavy chance ke tu gaadi mei baithega tab tak you can drenched
Just discovered your page a month back and am hooked to each episode starting years ago. It’s like sitting with my friends from old times (early 30s guy). Have booked your Delhi show and accompanying Wife. Love yougaiz.
💯this reminds of one of the podcast where Aadhar said something about Prime time or arnab, and it went un noticed. But the comments were appreciating it 😊
In Seattle, I have seen beautiful the northern lights (even in city lights pollution) - I just went to Alaska to see it few months back and this time I could see it from my home. Luckily Seattle was clear skies and we could see it by naked eye
very enjoyable !!!! Before watching this episode I was thinking about diving and how badly I wanna go back to the ocean. And Neville started talking about diving at the barren island divesite... what a synchronicity :)
This will probably be my most favourite TISS episode. I live in Kalga village in Parvati valley so listening to Varun talk about his Kheerganga experience was quite relatable. And every one had mountain stories to share so that was a lot of fun 😍🏔️
Fellow geographer here, actually thermocline is a vertical distribution of cold water which gradually starts from 100m and in that phenomenon temperature drops at 0°C. So as bawa was swimming near A&N sea 🌊 and as he said temp was dropped by 1-2°C so it's actually cold water which settles down in any water body as he was 20m down so he must be met with Cold water which flows below warm water.
Crazy weather experience for me in Delhi apart from the obvious crazy smog after Diwali is with monsoon I really like monsoon but School days with heavy rain were always crazy cause either we would get a holiday or go on a adventure trip to just reach school
SOOO EXCITED TO WATCH YOU LIVE THIS SUNDAYYYY!!!!!! Coming in with my husband, who thinks I am on a zoom call whenever I am listening to you guys. So, that will be a weird surprise for him.🤣🤣🤣🤣
An abiding memory of a crazy weather situation that I have is Cyclone Aila. It was grey and rainy before the monsoons, there was a lot of flooding, school was off for a bit, no electricity for a while and strong winds.
“And as he drove on, the rainclouds dragged down the sky after him, for, though he did not know it, Rob McKenna was a Rain God. All he knew was that his working days were miserable, and he had a succession of lousy holidays. All the clouds knew was that they loved him and wanted to be near him, to cherish him, and to water him.” ― Douglas Adams, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

I am an Oceanographer and listening to your thermocline section made me forget the concept 😂😂😂

'june 13 school starts'

Varun: kitna packet maggie khaya hoga?
Us: 14 packets, we know it because we are hearing it for the millionth time
Kautuk's laugh is so contagious, especially in the thermocline part
The thermocline bit was hilarious! 😂
Thermocline segment was hilarious guys, killed me.😂😂
Aadar's Calvin Klein joke got missed behind Thermocol 😂
48:40 Varun bhai kabhi Nagpur aao summers me, 48 degrees to aaram se jata hai 😁
You guys are the best! Have been following your podcast since 2018.. Never missed an episode. You guys remind me of college life

31:37 I spat my water out Paani ka Treadmill hai wo 🤣🤣🤣
Iused to have a huge crush on bawa and I'm a geologist and the way bawa destroyed thermohaline. I just don't have a crush on him anymore
31:23 Barren island is actually the only active volcano in India @Neville
33:53 Aadar lol.. Ive laughed a full 5minutes on this.. and then some
Aadar has some of the best one liners which go unnoticed because of the friendly banter!!
@@dhruvishkapadia3508 'pandit cheetah jala raha hai' from Wedding stories efisode is still, and I feel will always be my favourite Adarism

Totally agree Singapore heat is worst, drenching sweaty and in a minute you get de hydrated. Dry heat of Rajasthan is still okay.
1:11:05 I was quite the adventurous hill walker once upon a time. It was great fun.
9:33 Varun baarish padne wali hai. Sindhi-Marathi mix 😂

46:56 Max Garmi - Kolkata, May 2014, 40 degrees Celsius. I managed somehow to function through a school day.
Watching this episode literally an hour after attending the live TISS Pune show and its crazy how much more fun the live show is!
56:13 paused here. I remember this story. 16 packs of Maggi. ▶️ *hits play*
56:30 close! 14 packs 🤣
Maybe the maggi count is directly proportional to the Varun's story telling count😂
Thermocline segment was hilarious.. Epic 😂

Really enjoyed this episode. Weather is something everyone everywhere relates to. Good topic selection and fun anecdotes 🎖️
Coming for the Bengaluru show .... Can't wait 🤩
An abiding memory of a crazy weather situation that I have is Cyclone Aila. It was grey and rainy before the monsoons, there was a lot of flooding, school was off for a bit, no electricity for a while and strong winds.
And I had to go to University in that weather as my supervisor would only say, It's just rain
Oh yess!!! I was in school then. It was first time I saw a cyclone... I remember being shocked there was water everywhere
Love Bawa in this episode. So active and chirpy! 😊😊
it’s cos he’s quit his job
Love this episode ❤😂😂😂
It's the mountain water which makes the Maagi tastes so much better. Same logic with Tea.
I like the video even before I watch it. #Loyalfan
Cheers for Consistency!!
Just this one episode before I see you guys live ❤️🎉 excited much
Is it just me who feels that Bawa is now more fun and relaxed and silly now?
the ominous stormy thunderstroms are a regular summer thing for Odisha and WB peeps!
33:15 to 33:20, koi gif banao yaar iska 😂
Aadar mixed two stories into one. the cop that slapped the guy incident is different from the guy fell in between train and platform incident
Fact check on Varun’s Ganpatipule story. Max recorded temp there is 38 degrees. Nonetheless still love his stories/-telling, keep them coming!😅
9:53 Sisyphean Task
1:04:53 bawa’s theory of momentum; next time I’m on a bus on a mountain I think of this and remember; at least one paagal thought I could survive
Okayyy patnitop appreciation!!! Never thought a place near my place would pop up in the discussion
I have the fondest memories of it :)
it was in 2002 red rain in Kerala, I experienced and still remembering
Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face on my low days. (Funnily which always turn out to be Tuesdays lmao) ❤️
Humble request to add chapters in this
00:56 ad ends
It was same here in Gujarat too.
I have had the same experience as Aadar when I went to Kashmir with the horses carrying you down the hill by themselves. Scary experience
12:43 sounds like new channel :D

Very well done👏👏
LATE LATEEF! But happy to see the episode releasing on TISSDAY.

Hey I was reminded of exactly this when Kautuk was telling his story.
I was so sad to see the effects of the dust storm especially that hoarding falling. CLIMATE CRISIS HAS ENTERED THE CHAT
26:23 tsunami's are scary 😮
I like the joint participation of Varun and Aadar in ‘Why Are We Fighting?’ 😂
There was Aurora Borealis in Ladakh
