As the official RUclips home of Art Instruction Schools commercials and other videos, we updated the ending slate to include a current way to contact us. Ironically, the 1990s didn't have youtube either.
i did the test when i was younger got high scores they wanted to send a rep out unfortunally didnt have money to enroll so my parents didnt set up the meeting god i hated bein poor
I took this test when I was very young. They asked to choice a picture and draw it. I chose the bear with the hat. I drew it the same size. When I submitted they sent me a letter saying we do not accept copied work ,cheaters are not accepted in so many words. My mom was shocked because she sat there and watched me draw the pic,she tried contacting them but no replies. This was very devastating to me. I now know they wanted a bigger picture but no instructions was given to do so. Soon after I stop drawing and never drew again.I often wondered what would have happened if things were different. To all you who want to draw I say stay encourage and keep using your God given talents.
I sent away for the brochure when I was ten or eleven, did the cartoon sketch, my mom wouldn't give me a stamp to send it back she said it was just a way to get your address and start sending you junk asking for money to teach you to be an artist......dreams dashed hahaha Also, my reproduction of the cartoon ?shell-less turtle? was god awful!! Wish I had hoarded the brochure....
***** I recently did a voice over session at my college, using this video ad. I hired a professional voice actor for a day and re-created the audio. I wished the music track was available but I came fairly close. Let me know what you think.
When I was a kid I thought the guy was Steve Martin
Wait it's not?!
Incredible. I saw this when I was a 5 year old 90s kid and never thought I'd see it again.

They didn't have a web address in 1990, guaranteed. That was laid over this commercial later.
My god, I remember this.
