For me, this couple is amazing. They look at each other with such passion. Brienne is the only person who understands Jaime. It is beautiful that this relationship has developed like this, From the enemy, to a friend and even love. I love this couple
Part of what makes it great is that they're not a couple. The element of them holding back.
I love them too. They are great on and off the stage. Unfortunately, as they say, this love is starcrossed, one of them is going to die, or both.

The best story of the show through all 8 seasons, hands down. All I’m hoping for in the last three episodes is that they give this pair a worthy ending.

I love how you included small details like when Jaime pulled a chair for Brienne, when Jaime sees Tarth island for the first time or both of them saying goodbyes to each other. Thank you! Would be perfect if you included when Jaime clasped his hand around Brienne's.

It's weird, they don't seem to be in romantic love, they seem to be 'in respect/honour' with eachother. I think Jaime wishes he could have been like Brienne, she's become his idol.

@@zebritah1 I'm afraid of that, that it might spoil the delicious ambiguity between them. If they do acknowledge it, I hope it's subtle
@@Robkinggozer They'll definitely act on their feelings. There's been so much buildup and hints throughout the books and the show, and them acting on those feelings are HUGE for each of their individual character arcs as well as their joint arc.
@@allisonheinrich4108 I wouldn't be so sure about it. One or both of them might very well die in the battle. Personally I think Brienne will sacrifice herself to save Jaime. Seems like a fitting role reversal moment (hero sacrifices himself for woman). Besides, their relationship has never really been about romantic love. The attraction comes more from mutual admiration and kinship. That knighting was better for them than sex.
@@Robkinggozer Their relationship was built on respect, trust, and admiration, but there is definitely romantic love there as well - GRRM has always set it up to be a romance. It's very clear in the books, and the show as well. ("But you love him." - written by GRRM, who wrote that episode. Bronn also stated (very crudely, haha) that they want each other.) I think what's beautiful about their relationship is that it was built on that respect and admiration, and has evolved and grown with time to the point that it is a romantic relationship also. The actors have stated this as well. Also, GRRM based their relationship off of Beauty and the Beast. I'm firmly in the camp that they will get together :)
I don´t even know how many times I´ve watched this video. I loved the music, the editing and with the end HBO gave us it´s just heartbreaking. My favorite couple. So I just think this is the end: Jaime knighting Brienne. It´s so emotional and powerful even more than the having sex. Thank you !

Jaime probably will survive it, the lord of plot is seemingly not done with him yet. Brienne has now completed her arc, her purpose. I've heard a lot of people say that Jaime will die saving Brienne but I think it will be the other way around. Seems a fitting and honorable end for her. Besides, wight Brienne going on a rampage? Fuck yes.
Brienne's arc is not over. Her arc was never becoming a knight, it was about finding her "place" in this world, as a warrior AND woman. She always felt like she didn't belong and people, especially men, made fun of her. She never allowed herself to think about romance or sth like that. Brienne is searching for love and the ability to feel loved, in some way. Her actress also stated this in an interview, that Brienne starts to find her way as a woman this season. Also in the behind the scenes video they say three times that she loves Jaime and starts to think "outside a box", so it would be bad and sad to throw this buildup away just to have her die next to some other characters. I think/hope she survives this battle, because her arc is not completed yet.
@@Kyoko1411 I feel that the knighting, followed by that happy smile unlike any we'd seen from her so far, was the moment of completion of her arc. She is truly happy and completely at ease with herself. We don't need to see them snog or say I love you to realize that they would eventually. Dramatically it makes sense that one of them dies, especially in GOT world. Don't get me wrong, I love her character and if she does survive, great, can't wait to see.

This is so bittersweet. I don't believe both of them will survive, and they probably will never have any moments of even the slightest physical intimacy because that seems really unfitting (Brienne is all about honor, and Jaime, ironically, have turned quite chaste over the course of their relationship, starting out acting like a fuckboy), yet their relationship is one of the deepest in the show. They are friends, who respect each other and feel for each other's losses, in the process of realizing that their feelings are much deeper, but there is nothing to do about it. In different circumstances they could be together, but in different circumstances thy'd never even meet in the first place.
It's the best, the most nuanced UST pairing I have ever ran into. Top-notch stuff.

I think that Cersei is going to have Brienne killed and when Jaime learns that she was behind it, he will kill Cersei and then himself...by throwing himself out a window. I hope very much that I am wrong, because both of them deserve a real love and they have it in each other. But Cersei knows Jaime loves Brienne. She knew it before either of them were fully aware of it. And she does not let anyone leave. She does not allow another woman to have power over 'her' men. And she is a big fan of poison. Perhaps it will be Varys that does it...

And now he is on the way. And she will follow him. I hope she doesn’t die. But I think she might and if she does, Jaime will kill Cersei. He will show himself to be the hero. He did it before with the mad king. He will again. But doing so will be the death of him. He isn’t going to let Cersei use 250,000 people as a human shield. He killed the mad king for ‘burn them all’, remember.
