In the 80s I used to run From Austin Tx. To upstate NY I can’t remember how many roadside travelers I’d given rides to and met some really good people and went to some wild parties, but one “ A “hole ruined it when he pulled out a knife and insisted I take him to a place off the beaten path. Well that dumb ass brought a knife to a Gun fight, Lol . Now it was just a small 25 cal. but enough to get him movin on. Blessed be the Righteous for they will ever be in the Light from above.
This caught my attention because I'm a former hitchhiker. If there was a guy hitcher I would move on past him to give him first chance to get a ride. Unless there was no traffic, I seldom waited long. The 70s-90s found me on cross country trips. I would only actually have to thumb to the nearest truckstop Where I'd borrow a trucker's radio to get a ride. From then on, no more thumbing.
Great title and hook. I couldn't understand all the lyrics (bad hearing and recording live is very hard to do). Perfect melody and rythem. Damn good direction you are headed, different and "good",.
BEST pair of legs in country music today !! Song is KILLER also….

Sounds like my ex girlfriend!!!
I like it but can't understand all the words (in fact very few) but I'd give that girl singer a mustache ride any time she wanted it.
