The internet was a lot different in 2006 and that site was either shutdown a week later or it was the piratebay. Most likely someone at Roblox got this sound and didn't tell how they got it, because of Roblox being new they probably didn't care and just was in a rush to push the game out.

Yes i realized that the oof sound has been removed its now that weird sound. Also if you press the escape button in any Roblox game and go to settings and click on one of the blue blocks it used to be the oof sound and now its the weird death sound origin. Either way, if they remove it or not, I'm still changing the audio. Even if they keep changing the file, I'll rewrite the code, so it loads in the old oof sound instead of the new oof sound. I might make adjustments to the code aswell so the sound randomizes each time. OOF also the captions are accurate this time. I wonder if kreek edited them.
It does sound like a cool idea to be able to buy and create your own sounds when you die, however there are some downsides such as people making it extremely loud and spamming the "Reset" button or uploading an inappropriate sound.

Roblox could've easily asked the author of the oof sound for the use of it if they knew who the author of the oof sound was. To be honest, a MarketPlace is the best idea. Why?Because there’s going to be a place where you can pick your own Death sound and you can buy some for robux! Plus we all know so many people are angry about the oof sound incidents and players would be excited to have a place to pick they’re own death sound.

Well first of all the removal of tix is what helped Roblox become the multi billionaire company it is today since tix would make everything free and only inpatient people would pay money and since Roblox is a free game they had to make their money somehow and second of all the removal of guest was needed to stop the hackers/exploiters from ruining the game and making it less kid friendly

The REAL reason is because they technically took the oof sound but it didn’t belong to them. And the real creators got jealous of all the money, so they took the sound back and ruined one of the most popular games on earth
The oof sound getting removed is not "ruining" the game, it's doing nothing but making the community hate roblox even more, but i'm pretty sure not a single player would leave roblox because the sound was deleted.
Well, the real creators DID have the right to the sound. Roblox should've asked permission before using it, or payed for using it. Unless they actually did ask permission, or offer to pay for the sound.

Under not knowing that the SOUND was copyrighted, and the pack said it had no sounds that have any copyright, but when tallirico or whatever sued Roblox, they should have found the place where the pack was found. They infringed on copyright, not Roblox. So Tallirico is TOTALLY wrong in this.
Actually no he isn't, it's his sound that another company is using without tallirico's permission to use it. Roblox could've easily asked the author of the oof sound for the use of it if they knew who the author of the oof sound was. All roblox had to do was pay tallirico for the sound and it would still be up, but no since roblox is a greedy company, they don't want to. Roblox is clearly in the wrong for this since they could've paid tallirico or asked him before they even got the oof sound if they can use it.
