(200 grams make sure it needs to be light of fluffy.) then add one egg needs to be room temperature 1 1/2 teaspoon of nice vanilla, and 1/4 almond extract (optional) add sour cream after done mixing. 1/4 room temperature, mix again. Put the dough on the pice of parchment paper of plastic and make it into a disc and put another one on top and let it chill in the fridge should firm up pretty quick. Add a little bit of more flour and roll it to make it more bigger use an circle cutter (2 1/2 inch circular cutter smaller or bitter.) put it into the oven 8-9 minutes 375 temperature or until the bottom of your cookies just start to turn golden. If you want to add frosting, add 1/2 cup of unsalted butter room temperature (113g) mix when it should be creamy add two cubes of powdered sugar mix. Add of drizzle milk or cream, then add 1 tsp of vanilla. U can use pink food coloring or raspberry juice to give u the same color. Add the frosting into a piping bag then put it on the cookie. The frosted sugar cookies can be hit and miss. I’ve had ones that taste like chemicals or medicine and ones that are dry and seem to have virtually no flavor.
Truly nothing can beat a fresh warm, soft gooey cookie with crunchy edges Will always be reliably amazing and you could level it up by adding ice cream. You can’t do that with frosted sugar cookies that would just be weird.

I have a vivid memory as a kid of finding an entire container of these amazing cookies ( there particular ones had orange frosting) which had been left out for ppl to snack on after church. Most people had left and it was just sitting there. I sclounsed that thing off the counter so fast, smuggled it into the playroom and promptly devoured the whole thing. I did not regret it then and I do not regret it now. Truly my crowning achievement as a 7 year old.
