Hi Eric. I was going to buy some of the Stranger Things candles during the last sale. They were showing up as unavailable for shipping. I noticed that today with the 10 off, they are now available. Not happy with that. Carnival apple is one of my favorite fall Goose Creek candles.
I noticed the Stranger Things candles were "restocked" after the last sale too. I wasn't happy that they claimed they were sold out during the sale and then magically more became available like the next day.🙄 Hopefully we'll get a good candle sale and they won't be sold out.😊🤞

I purchased an 8 ounce cream of Love Cotton Candy Champagne on Mercari. The seller assured me it was not goopy or yellow and still had scent. While it does have scent, it smells musty. The numbers at the top are 124592A1 so that means the 245th day of 2021? (Sept 2nd) Oh, brother. It still functions as a cream, lol, but I don't know if I can get past that mustiness, even layering it with a fragrant mist. I just love this fragrance and wish it would come back. Sigh. As far as the $250 coupon limit, I usually don't buy quite that much at once so I really see it mostly affecting reviewers, like yourself, people who have no easy access to a store and buy large amounts online and also, resellers. I think in the long run B&BW is going to lose money on this because like you said, you are really going to be selective and limit your purchases. I picked up the pumpkin 3-wick candle holder today since it was rewards eligible. I really like the colors but won't put it out until October.
When I'm shopping body care at the outlet store I often look at the date to make sure its not super old. I've had body creams like Strawberry Pound Cake that still look ok but get that musty smell that you mentioned. I can't get past it.😂 I wish they lasted longer than they do. Over the years I've bought way less body care because I just don't go through it quick enough before it goes bad. Fortunately the fragrance mists seem to last forever.🤣 The new coupon policy will most likely affect reviewers like you said. However, if BBW doesn't put a spending cap on their flash sales that they do online from time to time, than that would be away around the coupon policy.🤔😊

Ugh yes I'm wishing I could grab the sweet tea candle. I got the wax melt and fell in love. Ive heard a lot of people get weird reactions to this candle. Corn chips.. jalapeno.. ive heard it all. Its so funny cause to me it smells exactly like graham crackers and pumpkin to me. I adore it xD Whereas the new pumpkin s'mores kind of smells like a spiced cocoa. I dont get graham at all. At least on cold. Still smells nice! Thats a shame about football season. I was hoping it would be more interesting than a typical freshie spa type scent. The name certainly doesnt match 🤔 Btw eric thats funny you mentioned pumpkin pie. Pumpkin vanilla creme is a repackage of pumpkin pie. They renamed it a few years back.
The Pumpkin Vanilla Creme smells like sweet and a little savory to me. Sorta like corn chips. Which is what the Pumpkin Pie candle smells like to me. I didn't know it was a repackage, but it makes sense!🤣 Football season sounds pretty basic from the scent notes. I was hoping for something else also.
I usually like BBW Pumpkin Vanilla Creme, but I think it was the best the first year that it came out as Pumpkin Pie. I don’t know why they renamed it. Pumpkin Cupcake is the one that I always thought had a weird undertone, kind of like corn chips. And now I know some years BBW Pumpkin Vanilla Creme/Pumpkin Pie can have that savory corn chip note too. And yes, why has Fall Festival not been back in a couple of years?! Love your tortoise pumpkin candle holder. I got one too, and the flocked owl. I was worried they’d sell out. Which means they’ll probably still be around when we get a 40% off sale 😂.

Most of us BBW addicts spend quite a bit of money with them. The policies are cutting their own throats imo. I am fortunate to have a great staff at my store. But to this new policy implemented on the $250.00 there will be a hit in the wallet from them and who penalizes shoppers for spending money? I guess they do now. But if you ebay Amazon etc .I think this is who they are targeting the people that resale. I miss the days of BBW when you could exchange for something else, we all did it and now it's changed across the board. Not the best BBW .
These policy changes have been reshaping how we shop at BBW. I remember when you could return and exchange anything. Because of that, many stores would have return tables set up during SAS and Candle Day even. I would find some real treasures that people returned. Now those no longer exist because you can't return something past 90 days. This new coupon policy penalizes shoppers for spending their own money in the store. It's crazy.🤪
As far as the coupon limit, it’s simple corporate greed. I’m already not buying the expensive Halloween candles this year unless they go on a real sale, not just $10 off.

Coupon policy won’t really affect me, I don’t spend anywhere near that $250 at a time, so it’s not a huge issue for me. I can definitely see though that the people who like to stock up on big candle events wouldn’t want this, it’s not very smart if BBW to limit their customers spending? Oh well, I’m sure it’ll be gone by next SAS. They’ll see low Xmas and candle days sales and clam right up. These prices , $70 for a candle!, aren’t sustainable.
I agree, once bbw sees sees less money coming in, they'll drop the limit or raise it up. It automatically puts a spending limit in your mind. Which is the last thing a retail company wants to do. The prices on these fancy candles have gotten way crazy!🤪

Exactly! I cant see how this is going to help BBW. Bc now, I'm gonna make sure I dont spend over 250. Bc without a coupon, I ain't buying it. Esp with halloween and candle day. I really feel like they will stop this once they see the sales drop. Bc i won't be dropping half a grand at a time anymore thats for sure. They saving me money so oh well. Their loss 🤷lol
I feel the exact same way. They are penalizing their customers for spending money in their store.🤷♂️ So crazy! Oh well, its money saved to spend elsewhere.
Ive heard a lot of people get weird reactions to this candle. Corn chips.. jalapeno.. ive heard it all. Its so funny cause to me it smells exactly like graham crackers and pumpkin to me. I adore it xD
Whereas the new pumpkin s'mores kind of smells like a spiced cocoa. I dont get graham at all. At least on cold. Still smells nice!

Btw eric thats funny you mentioned pumpkin pie. Pumpkin vanilla creme is a repackage of pumpkin pie. They renamed it a few years back.
The Pumpkin Vanilla Creme smells like sweet and a little savory to me. Sorta like corn chips. Which is what the Pumpkin Pie candle smells like to me. I didn't know it was a repackage, but it makes sense!🤣
Football season sounds pretty basic from the scent notes. I was hoping for something else also.
I usually like BBW Pumpkin Vanilla Creme, but I think it was the best the first year that it came out as Pumpkin Pie. I don’t know why they renamed it. Pumpkin Cupcake is the one that I always thought had a weird undertone, kind of like corn chips. And now I know some years BBW Pumpkin Vanilla Creme/Pumpkin Pie can have that savory corn chip note too. And yes, why has Fall Festival not been back in a couple of years?!
Love your tortoise pumpkin candle holder. I got one too, and the flocked owl. I was worried they’d sell out. Which means they’ll probably still be around when we get a 40% off sale 😂.
I never knew Pumpkin Vanilla Creme and Pumpkin Pie were the same candle. Makes total sense now, because I get a savory scent on both candles.😂

The silver lining of the new policy is hopefully it hurts the resellers so they buy up less of the stuff leaving more for normal customers.
I totally agree with you! The other day I was in a store and a customer came in and bought all the Stranger Things candles!😮 It was like 40 candles! I'm thinking they were a reseller.
Most of us BBW addicts spend quite a bit of money with them. The policies are cutting their own throats imo. I am fortunate to have a great staff at my store. But to this new policy implemented on the $250.00 there will be a hit in the wallet from them and who penalizes shoppers for spending money? I guess they do now. But if you ebay Amazon etc .I think this is who they are targeting the people that resale. I miss the days of BBW when you could exchange for something else, we all did it and now it's changed across the board. Not the best BBW .
These policy changes have been reshaping how we shop at BBW. I remember when you could return and exchange anything. Because of that, many stores would have return tables set up during SAS and Candle Day even. I would find some real treasures that people returned. Now those no longer exist because you can't return something past 90 days. This new coupon policy penalizes shoppers for spending their own money in the store. It's crazy.🤪

As far as the coupon limit, it’s simple corporate greed. I’m already not buying the expensive Halloween candles this year unless they go on a real sale, not just $10 off.
Without a good sale, I won't be buying anymore of the fancy Halloween Candles. Way too expensive!

Coupon policy won’t really affect me, I don’t spend anywhere near that $250 at a time, so it’s not a huge issue for me. I can definitely see though that the people who like to stock up on big candle events wouldn’t want this, it’s not very smart if BBW to limit their customers spending? Oh well, I’m sure it’ll be gone by next SAS. They’ll see low Xmas and candle days sales and clam right up. These prices , $70 for a candle!, aren’t sustainable.
I agree, once bbw sees sees less money coming in, they'll drop the limit or raise it up. It automatically puts a spending limit in your mind. Which is the last thing a retail company wants to do. The prices on these fancy candles have gotten way crazy!🤪
