Thank you! I hope your first time will be successful, because I failed first time =D But I'm sure you will love working with wafer paper as you get some skills. As for me, I doubt I'll ever come back to sugar flowers =D
First of all thank you for showing it is very beautifully done. I still have a question is the material suitable for a tropical country 40 degrees. I'm afraid the flower will go limp the next day. advice please
Thank you! I also live in a very hot and humid climate. The flowers should be fine. This type of paper doesn't "like" any direct liquids, so as long as you don't moisten it, the flowers will be ok.
Funny thing, I was unsatisfied with this particular pink powder, but I didn't have another color. Now I know it's not that bad lol Thank you for your feedback!
Thank you for watching! I drew the petals myself, but I googled the templates for you and here is the link: i.pinimg.com/originals/d2/c0/5e/d2c05e335c6ca41cac0e1bae6d92aa89.jpg I dusted with powder only, no water used.
This tutorial is amazing...loved step by step guide to create this beauty.❤️ Can u plz help me what material that bud used is made of... styrofoam or fondant. Also will be helpful if u share some storage tips to store them well. Thanks in advance.
@@poojabhutra5128 Sorry, I posted the answer, but it looks like there was a glitch, I don't see it=( I use fondant for buds, but you have to let it dry before adding rose petals. You can also use styrofoam buds. As for the storing wafer paper flowers, it requires same conditions as storing fondant pieces: the place has to be dry, cool avoiding direct sunlight. I have a plastic containers with lids for this purpose, but cardboard box is also an option, if you close it tight.
It depends on paper thickness and quality. Sometimes wafer paper becomes too dry being kept in an open bag. I'd suggest to put it in a larger sealed plastic bag with inserted piece of folded damp paper towel, that is put in its own unsealed plastic bag, so the moisture from the paper towel could be absorbed by wafer paper. Seal the large plastic bag and keep this paper towel inside for 1-2 days. You paper should be easier to work with. Always try to keep the paper in a tight sealed plastic bag.
Thank you! I bought my wafer paper on Amazon and there was no info about the grades. I still haven't finished it yet (100 sheets), but I'm planning to buy more different brands to compare, and I will make a video about the quality and different brands you can choose from.
I kept it for more than a year in a closed container and it still good to use. I doubt wafer papers could be eaten, as they are absolutely tasteless, so the shelf time is about a year (or whatever it says on a label).

Thank you so much for sharing this. Can piping gel or edible glue be used to stick the petals together instead of water?
Thank you for watching!
To be honest, I've never tried either of them, but I'm quite sure the edible glue should work well. I make my own glue:

It works better than water.
All the coloring used were powder dust? Is it much better than coloring diluted in gin or water? I found it hard to handle when using wet coloring.
