The judge is hired simply to be a chief administrator and a lead judge of the district when questions come up such as adequacy of public defenders or courtroom guards and equipment. This should be done by the other judges who Lloyd detests. With the lead judge convinced he has no respect to the court room process or his own chances at the trial this judge has to ensure that Lloyd gets his facts right.
If every court had a judge such as this judge our justice system would be a far better place. This judge is fair, even kind despite the charges he was there for, which shows he lives by the rules he took in one is innocent until proven guilty and to follow every aspect in finding him capable of understanding and asshole to do as he chose. Not many judges today have the patience or want to use terms to explain the laws or how they work and often come in with an opinion of ones guilt based on what they know if the charges before trial even begins.

The court is very thorough and competent in his statements and advice to the defendant. He does this for two reasons: to be very fair to the defendant and two, for any appeal court which might question whether the man knew what he was facing in the case. Where a defendant wants to represent himself, there is one solution which works. The court appoints a public defender for the defendant only as an adviser who will follow the case and be available to answer questions of the defendant if the defendant has questions. He/she will not represent the defendant but merely assist him in the case. From another perspective, this defendant is an animal and deserves whatever the jury gives him.
This Judge is amazing. Any other Judge would have ended this in 5 mins. That man has no remorse for what he did and thinks he can justify it. You know what I don't understand, if you are innocent until proven guilty, then why do you have to go to jail awaiting a trial date?

This Judge is amazing. Any other Judge would have ended this in 5 mins. That man has no remorse for what he did and thinks he can justify it. You know what I don't understand, if you are innocent until proven guilty, then why do you have to go to jail awaiting a trial date?

I'm praying for this man. I'm not saying that what he has done is not worthy of the punishment he has received, but I still feel it necessary to pray for him. I see crimes on both sides, and I believe the Lord will see to it that justice is served on both sides. Lord be with us all.

I’ve only been in front of a judge for speeding tickets. I’ve never seen a more respectful and professional judge than this man. And he’s all but begging the guy to not represent himself. But you can’t fix stupid.
