I love how even though the pieces have the same colours they all look different, they make a great set!
I love all three of these!! I think they would make a great trio to turn into prints or puzzles or a set of bookmarks or something they're so beautiful and look really great together🥰
Fab! I like all of them. However, I loved your story about the green colors of spring glowing. I call that “new shoot” green - my favorite color. Where I live in Wisconsin USA, the trees are just beginning to bud. It begins to look like a green haze that is absolutely enchanting. We actually had unnaturally hot days, then snow, and a mild sunny day today. Rain comes next to make all the green things grow. Fab!

The little stalk things in the middle of flowers are pronounced "stay-min" but considering accents it could probably be a number of ways! I would say turquoise is a pale-to-medium shade that's pretty evenly between blue and green, and teal is a bit more on the greener side of blue-green (and can be darker in my opinion). I would say that background is a mix of turquoise and aqua (which is a lighter shade of blue-green that is more on the blue side), and the leaves are a bit of a dark teal.
I really like how you used the paint in multiple ways, both by mixing different greens and using the white to change the shades, but also using it directly from the bottle for that texture!
The wood.anemones in the forest is my favourite of the three paintings. Glad to see a new video. Always enjoy your videos
I just got my order yesterday and I love the witchy cat so much! I got a bunch of things with cats on them, and if you ever make a witchy, cat themed notepad set I will be all about it. 🥰
I am happy to see a new video from you and I am glad you are okay and taking care of your mental health. It feels like a lot of art folks I know are feeling detached from their art and taking a break. I think it might have to do with the state of the world right now. Everything feels like there's a dark cloud hovering and yeah, I spend a lot of time just turning everything off and started reading books, physical books, to escape it. I haven't read from a book in years, and it feels so so good.
Okay last thing, these paintings are so cute! I really need to learn how to draw plants. The spring foliage looks like it would make a really cool pattern on something, but I also love the anemones painting. They just need more cats. 😄

They are all so pretty I don't know how to pick a favorite! I think the forest one is what I'd choose too, but I can't stop staring at the green foliage one... and the turquoise/teal with thr yellow flowers... they are all so good!

I love the sort of 3D pop the paint gives! I loved all of them, but I agree that the first might be my favorite, followed closely by the third one (the flowers look a bit like fried eggs 😅) and then the second one. These would look lovely in little wooden frames to be placed maybe over a desk/work space or in a small room like the bathroom.

The third painting is my favorite, it feels like I'm underneath looking up into beautiful springtime trees. Sorry to hear your mental health hasn't been the best. I'm like that too sometimes, only I don't always know it. Your comment on the brush creating perfectly organic leaves was insightful and now I want a brush like that! 😁

Less than five minutes into the video and I'm here commenting again (so I don't forget 😅😅) but your description of the paint texture as well as the tubes remind me of using Tulip brand fabric paint back in the late 80s/early 90s. We made so many t-shirts and pairs of shoes just covered in puffy paint.
This is the difference I think of usually!
Teal - bluey green, usually darker
Turquoise- greeny blue, usually light

the green light turn out so great, it really reminds me of the sunlight shining through the leaves of linden trees. one of the things i love about spring time. btw my redbubble order arrived last week. love my new shirts with your art
I may have to treat myself to the kitty notepad & the magic one even though I always end up forgetting to actually use planners because I have zero executive functioning lol. But they're really pretty!

I have to say I was a bit annoyed with the paints in this box. They call it 'Fluid Acrylics' so I tried to do some fluid art with it. It was obviously waaay too thick for that so I decided to add water to the tubes and make them more fluid, it took forever to get it even slightly more fluid and I basically just ended up finger-painting with it instead! 😂 The paint itself was lovely and had I been doing any other kind of art it would have been perfect but the name definitely was a bit misleading and led to me getting frustrated with it.
Glad to hear that you are feeling a little better now. Don't worry about the upload schedule, taking care of yourself is much more important so that comes first. As someone with social anxiety and depression, I totally understand the "no people-ing today" feeling and am all too familiar with it 😂
