  • I replaced one fuel injector for the trouble code shown but I also had to replaced the coil for cylinder one. Apparently, replacing the coil on my 2000 Corolla fixed the problem.

    I replaced the 02sensor but getting a p0133 code can the fuel injector trigger that?

    Man! you did not depressurized the fuel line. You're on the tank...not that one. You conk the engine on with the fuel pump fuse taken off. Beware of this mistake, its fuel gas man~

      Totally Agree, dangerous short cut

      Or pop out the fuel pump relay, located above your left foot drivers side. It's easy to reach and then give it a few cranks.

    Did you try running a fuel injector cleaner like Techron first?

    • @girohead

      I've tried that, Sea Foam and 'PEA additives,' nothing worked for me, good first attempt though. I suspect this one was due to misfired caused my coil pack on cyl 1, he implies he did both at same time. I do like to full diagnostic of vid starting with read of actual code. The replacement of injectors was fully shown and encourages me.

    How do you know it was the fuel injector? Could it also be a bad misfire spark plug or a vacuum leak?..nice video.

      If you're code is for misfire in injectors 1 and 3 swap them with injectors 2 and 4 and see if the problem switches to those. If it does you have faulty injectors in the spots where the code is occurring.

      @@2ub40 I did i ended up getting it back started with the old injectors . I have a misfire on cylinder 2 and I was attempting of switching out the injector but it kept flooding the engine with gas even after I cranked it a couple times with the fuel pump fuse disconnected. Is that the only way to depressurizing the tank ? I figured it was my positioning of the injectors themselves because everytime I started the car the cylinder area flooded with gas and I didn’t wanna mess with itv💀💀

      @@Ahakartune There's gas leaking all over because you did not properly seat the injectors into the fuel rail. The way the guy does it in the video is the worst possible way to go about doing it. Firstly, make sure the o-rings you are using are new. If you attempt to reuse a 20-year-old o-ring it is guaranteed to stretch and cause a leak. I found this out the hard way a few months ago. Another common issue is when the o-ring gets crimped. This will also cause extensive leaking. And above all, which is something the author of the video really missed, is properly lubricating the o-ring before placing it back into the fuel rail. Some say to use oil and some say to use gasoline.
      Neither are recommended. Vaseline is what works best. With that, do not just force it back in. The injector should comfortably pop back in and freely turn left and right. If it doesn't I would gently take it out, recheck the Vaseline, and give it a go again. Then once everything is re-seated and bolted back together turn the engine on and check for leaks. I have taken my fuel rail and injectors out four times over the last day and I have not had a single leak because I followed these parameters and used Vaseline.

    Is ur Camry bad on gas? Because I know mine is.

    • @2ub40
      @2ub40  4 года назад +1

      My Camry and Corolla are good on gas but Camry has a bigger gas tank than the corolla therefore, the corolla is more of a gas saver.
