Hello! I'm planning a Chirstmas to New Year's Eve holiday in Zanzibar and I am interested in how expensive a trip like this would be. Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hello AkaSKY, that period is the most busiest in the year, therefore the most expensive. However, this year might be a completely different story due to COVID-19.
Hello Angelika, the temperature, starting from the second half of December until Feb-March, is really really hot (depends where you come from and how you perceive the temperature). It was around 36-38 C but in the sun it felt like in a sizzling pan.

Every corner in Zanzibar has its own beauty. I would spend around 3 nights in at least these 4 locations: Jambiany/Paje, Kiwengwa, Nungwi and Stone Town.
@@voiceoffarooq6810 do you mean to travel within the island? you can easily move around with a taxi (quite pricey though), rent a motor scooter would be the next cheaper option or take the local "busses" Dala-Dala which are very cheap but you get what you pay for.
Check out the dark hisdtory of Zanzibar revolution of 1964, i was born there we had to leave everything behind and were lucky to escape, a lot of people we knew were slaughtered.
Now you are a bit silly and show a narrow mind. I found people of Zanzibar one of the friendliest in the whole world. Instead being stuck in preconceptions you better go and see for yourself.

Also between 22 December and 4 January it only rained once and was a lovely quick hot shower. So I can say no rain.
