Perhaps I read/heard earlier in this playthrough, but I seem to recall that the use of some existing models for the Shiro'ken was explained in the lore by Shiro simply using forms with which he was familiar during his previous life.
Seems plausible!
I don't recall you doing the quests "The Beak of Darkness" (Kurz) or "The Zenos Squad" (Lux), both have good dialogue.
Miko did do the Black Moa quest chain on the Kurzick side, and A A Ron started the Zenos Squad but abandoned it because he felt this Zenos guy was an asshat.
~1:03:25 All players starting from Factions should know both Lukas (henchman on Shing Jea) and Danika (an NPC in a primary quest and required Kurz mission). Players coming from Proph or Nightfall wouldn't know Lukas (well) if they never went to Shing Jea and took the Luxon path. Lukas is a henchman option for the last 2 missions.
I believe we both took Lukas for Shiro!
~1:06:05 To avoid any spoilers, do go back to Tahnnakai Temple (explorable) and talk to all of the spirit heroes.
We might if we have time!
I just played through factions the second time ever yesterday. (The first time on my own, without any rush from outside) and I gotta say. I absolutely loathe Kaineng. Once you leave that cursed place it really picks up in enjoyability, but I'll die happy if I never set foot in that slum again.
Nightfall is my favorite of the 3 main campaigns as i think it has the best pacing. Prophecies is too long, and factions is too short (for me). I also like being a Sunspear. And Kormir never bothered me, I didn't even find out people disliked her until last year.
Nightfall is so well thought out and executed!
