I’m currently sweating balls at 3am trying to assemble this specimen of a desk without a screwdriver or a hammer, only a pair of scissors and pure determination. Now I’ve come to number 31, and my drawer simple cannot make that typa movement. You gotta love ikea funiture

DO NOT USE THIS! Upvote the comment so others see and don't trash their desk. This should be taken down, as the assembly has changed now. The small screw shown at 1:00 is missing from the pack and i ended up splitting the wood using one of the four smallest screws..I realised and stopped as I could tell it was going to damage the wood.

I keep visualising a guy strapped to a car with a bright light aimed at his head and being beaten with rubber hoses to the soothing music lol. I definitely think this video should be watched. I promised my wife that it might take a couple of days but I will finish it. I plan to celebrate Xmas tonight and build a spaceship next week! IKEA is a corporation formed by vengefull wives by the way!
yeah it slipped out, i said screw it and assembled the rest thinking it would slide in fine, and then i had to force it in bc of the width. would not recommend doing that bc i definitely damaged the wood and possibly warped it by arcing it. just make sure you have it held IN before getting that back part on.

my brother got this desk years ago and the dumbass didnt fully put it together, so ive been taking after the desk since hes moved out and some of the pieces are missing🙄😒
Lol my cousin would do this 🤦🏽♀️ put it together, have leftover pieces and toss them instead of figuring out where he went wrong😂. Ikea may just give you the missing parts. Doesn't hurt to ask.

@@ShintyShinto magnificent, at I found out I had got the metal things with the wheels screwed on reveresed so I had to unscrew them (with a pair of scissors bare in mind) which took an hour but I finally got it done💪
I srsly. needed to search a damn tutorial bc. the instruction doesn't have a measurement for each piece included (and I don't want to in the end spend hours to figure... which length goes to which other piece, to screw this damn desk together)
Those stupid wooden stings don’t just slot in easily like that. I really wish I had just paid the stupid installation fee now because your instructions are ridiculous.

My one didnt come with the thing at 1:13 then we had too order spare parts which is coming in more then a week!! Pretty disappointed..

(my galaxy brain forgot to close the cabinet which was blocking the drawer).
