    I found this video by accident. After a family tragedy about 15 years ago I became seriously depressed. I suffered debilitating panic attacks. I drank to great excess. A bottle of whisky a day was nothing. A psychiatrist put me on so many different medications but I had bad reactions to all of them except one. Valdoxan. The effect was almost magical. After a few years I thought that I should be able to stop valdoxan. The depression and panic attacks came back although not as bad.. I read about saffron being a mood enhancer. So I went to a Persian grocery store and bought saffron. It didn't act like a drug and just work straight away. But gradually over a few weeks, I became happy. The funny thing is, I hadn't realised how happy I had become until friends and family made comments. My desire for alcohol lessened. I still drink but at a normal level. When I went back to buy more saffron, I told the guy in the shop and he smiled and said that saffron had been used for this purpose in his country for thousands of years. There is fake saffron so take care. Real saffron has an unmistakable smell. Sweet damp hay. An added benefit is much improved vision. That takes a few months.

      How did you take saffron.can you tell me the procedure of taking saffron.

    • @richardmalone3172

      @@gauravbhattacharya3284 I put about 8 to 10 threads of saffron in warm water, a little honey and a slice of lemon. The water changes to a golden colour but if you leave it all night, in the morning it is a golden red colour. I drink one cup every day. I am thinking about making a large jug and allowing all the saffron to mix into the water for a day or so and then drinking a cup every day. Experiment yourself but you will notice your own contentment and happiness. One more thing. Actively choose happiness. It's there for the taking.

    My husband can’t drink the Latte but he has lung cancer and we would like to include saffron extract as part of his holistic agenda. Is there a really good one that you can recommend that he can use.

      Hi, Bob!
      We do offer a saffron capsule combined with turmeric called "Kinder Thoughts". I'll link below.

    • @bobfarrell6371
      @bobfarrell6371 3 года назад

      I saw your capsules but we already use turmeric in another way in his diet so we don’t want to take too much because he is on blood thinner medication. How about the threads how would those work we’re on a raw vegan diet so we don’t eat rice to add them into. Do you sell the threads and if so how many threads would you take a day to meet the maximum dose

    • @nikkibostwickunfiltered
      @nikkibostwickunfiltered  3 года назад

      @@bobfarrell6371 We do sell just the threads (we'll link below) - and they can totally be used raw. Our saffron is sourced from farmers in Herat, Afghanistan and a portion of the profits go back to the women harvesting the saffron.
      To consume saffron raw - we'd recommend a saffron infusion. To make this - just fill a quart jar with water, then add 15 threads (or more - as desired) and let sit overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning, you'll have a beautiful amber tonic that is ready for consumption. You can strain out the saffron threads or leave them in (I personally strain them out).
      Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Good video but Andrew Saul and the orthomolecular doctors would all disagree about ascorbic acid. Whether it comes from GMO
    corn or not it's vit. C, ascorbic acid, chemically exactly what plants make.
