It’s sick that she is still twisting things to suit her narrative. She’s unbelievable. Her prospective of what she has done is like it’s righteous. She’s crazy. She’s in prison for what she did, her actions, not something that was done to her. Our heavenly father didn’t abuse those children, she did. She thinks she’s being tested by God for doing the right thing but she has done the opposite things that God would have wanted her to do. She really thinks she’s justified. She needs to stay where she is and get some serious mental help.
Don't hold much hope for health or rehabilitation for Hildebrandt. She's practiced or acted out this for decades for power and money. Her delusions are entrenched.
She is deeply troubled. I feel bad for the person that is taking her calls so dutifully. He’s a trooper! I guess everyone needs a friend. Russ and Eve didn’t have anyone. If Ruby had even a twinkling of motherly love in her she would have told Jodi where to stuff her beliefs. Unfortunately it seems it was two troubled people meeting and nobody checked them to stop them from harming others. Where was Kevin?!? He’s just as complicit in this for not demanding answers/to see his small children.
You are so right. Inmates are vey vulnerable, isolated from family and friends, emotional, feelings of guilt, shame, anger, the need to be loved still go on, they are humans, especially these young women in need of a motherly mentor. Obviously she can be charismatic. And agreed-Ruby thinks she has people hoodwinked with her dramatic acceptance speech. She is a set of facades, adaptive and very dangerous too.

She’s also an example to others of what evil, self serving, psychopaths can look like and that they may come in a form with seemingly legitimized offers of “help” that should be recognized as false in every way. I hope the prison will be VERY CAREFUL in allowing her over the time of her sentence to have a role in the prison that puts her in a senior role over other inmates or a position of power. She is so incredibly dangerous and delusional. People joke that inmates find god in prison but for Jodi she will just dive deeper into her delusions. Terrifying.
You make a good point that people incarcerated are a vulnerable population. Much untreated trauma and mental illness. Hopefully the fact that she abused children will be a deterrent but we currently have people in our free society that support the harm of children based on adult fears, religious beliefs, and politics.

Like Lori Vallow. I think they both believe that they are "anointed" and "special". It fits their grandiose view of themselves, fits the multi dimensional battle going on in the universe, y'know the battle of good v evil. If Lori had had to face up to the truth about her kids, I believe she would've cracked open like an egg. So to the end, she told her delusion, and is pissed that everyone else doesn't believe her. Narcissists can have many diagnoses, but extremist cult leaders seem to have a cornucopia of personality disorders. They will not survive the truth, which is so ironic since they called themselves the Moms of Truth, wow

Let me bless you with some information from the Word: You've been utterly deceived. The bible was written FOR us, not To us. Jesus said He'd be back in his contemporaries generation, not 2000 years later. He said he'd return shortly, quickly, and even immediately. Non biblical writers with no dog in the fight claim to have seen soldiers warring in the clouds. It's easy to research. Revelation 1:1 was literal. Almost everybody I know has no clue what the gospels are about. Jesus returned in 70AD, so the mark of the beast, and Armageddon already happened. The 1000 year reign has been carefully hidden by certain bloodlines, and brotherhoods. All the impossible architecture worldwide starts to hit different. The Renaissance was really the Reign of saints. Michaelangelo was actually the Michael the angel. Who built all the massive and incredibly ornate churches worldwide? Some towns had 100 citizens and a church like a castle. Research partial preterism at least once. Prove me wrong please?

I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it. The LDS church is too crooked to allow any true punishment because then they might be found liable.
I'm not sure, but I think the purgatory idea is a place you can get out of--sort of graduating into heaven? I think Jodi need years of therapy, and that would be only if she agreed to accept it and work toward change. Ruby will at least pretend to cooperate.
This is a case where both need to stay locked away. They are dangerous to themselves and especially others. Even prisoners aren’t safe from the web of mysticisms she weaves.
She needs to be put on isolation and unable to contact anyone. Frightening she will be out again one day!

Here's a clue. There was little boy with deep lacerations on his ankles and wrist tied to the floor in her house that escaped. There was handcuffs attached to thick long rope in a safe room along with a mixture of honey and cayenne to put on the wounds, wrap in plastic then cover in duct tape. Notice the listeners PAUSE when she said she doesn't know why she's in there.
To think this person, who is not repentant, will be out of prison one day and possibly do the same to other children. Wow!

That’s how I became an agnostic atheist too. And it’s incredible how many people have told me they believe every word of the bible but have not even read it. Or act disgusted when I quote it- and try to shut me down. But it’s a book they swear is all truth?

I’m still confused about Jodi and Ruby sentencing. Is there a minimum they must serve at the moment? Will there be anyone to step up and stand up when they are up for release? It shouldn’t be just family. it should be neighbors, it should be people who care about children, it should be all of us. I hope there will be a group to protest any early release of these two women. Because they have really not changed.

What she is reading from, It’s in the Gospel of Mark and the Gospel Matthew, describing the end times. Matthew 10:21 and Mark 13:12. It’s hard to believe that they can do what they did to these children and then claim the children rose up against them. No. They were being tortured and escaped! This is all just so bizarre it’s beyond words. She read from another scripture but would have to go back and listen. It was first or second Peter I believe.
