I am testing out the NEW Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Curl Bounce vs the oh so very popular Maybelline Sky High Mascara in a brand new shade Cosmic Black. I’m wearing it ALLLLLL day on my oily skin. I love sky high but I wish they would get rid of that ridiculous bendiness of the wand. It makes it harder to apply.

Same for me. I was so excited to try it because I'm all for lenghtening mascaras, and I love Maybelline mascaras in general. But I hated how bendy the wand is. I used it once then passed it to my sister.
I think that they would look phenomenal layered together. I layer lengthening mascara with one that gives volume all the time because my lashes stick straight out and won’t hold a curl from a lash curler and it’s the only way I actually have nice eyelashes.

Hey Magdaline! My first impression was the same as yours. The Sky High left your lashes separated and flared. The Colossal gave your lashes more of a clumped look. I actually love that and favor the Colossal side much more, though they’re both similar. I’ve never heard of those mascaras. They seem great, though. I just set up an IG account and I’m following you. Yes, I’m definitely late to the game. I set it up because I was one of five RUclips subscribers to win a contest. I’m happy😊. I have to say I do like the curl and bounce one better, when I was watching your video I saw at the 3pm check in how the sky high side had fallen down while the other side was lifted and still looking full. I am so thankful I saw this video I can not wait to give the curl and bounce a try now.

Ill try Sky high. I mostly just want lenght to cover the hoodedness of my eyes. UPDATE: dont like it 😅. It looks fake. Even if i apply a small amount. oh well, better than nothing. It does add some oomph and lasts all day.

I have very straight lashes and have to curl first and then do a waterproof mascara so they will stay curled.

Was literally just looking at the new shade of the sky high on Amazon because I had to purchase a new one since mine is all gone, now. I was like “WHAT! A new shade?!” And was immediately drawn in because of the black and pink packaging! LOL. I’m definitely picking it up, but now I also want to pick up the curl and bounce one, too! 🤣

All mascaras are the same what you need is a lash primer like the l'oreal brand and also the hero mascara by IT cosmetics both are my favs bu for sure get a lash primer

Hey girl, I got to try the Sky high mascara and wasn't a big fan of it. I have short lashes too, and must agree that I absolutely love the new packaging!! 😍💯💯 Ha, that always gets me too. 😄 I would like to try the new Curl bounce as it's definitely bringing the volume!
