lars’ little bit on james getting his confidence was pretty sweet
Fun fact- Lars once was a drummer too.
Crazy to hear how high he was singing way back then.
Howard really knows the answers to the questions he's asking
James Hatfield vocals have changed a lot and have improved over time.
"All three of them" LOL
I swear James looks 10 years younger than he did a couple of years ago. Awesome to see him doing so well!
For me, Ride The Lightning through Black album was the period I loved James' voice. It had bark, growl, grit.
By God, Lars is sharp as a whip and has an exceptional memory
The sweet thing about Howard Stern is that he supplies optional answers when he asks the question.... Lol
Mustaine: "I learned guitar on my own"
Lars: his balls hadn't dropped yet
James is undoubtably one of the greatest frontmen of all time..
All 3 of em
Really prefer his Voice from '89 though.
Not like Plant, but like Geddy Lee.
Hetfield really is a class act. An amazing songwriter, rhythm guitarist, Riff creator, leader and his vocals have been sounding great this last decade. A very humble dude too. We are damn lucky to have him and Metallica around 🤘
Lars is literally the Bro code when he compliments James' confidence at the end
In the early days they tried to emulate Diamond Head. ON EVERYTHING. Half of their sets in 1981-1982 were covers of the "lightning to the nations" album, Diamond head 1st album. James was emulating Diamond Head singer.
