I moved from Charlotte five years ago to the southern NC coast right at the SC border. Every year I dread hurricane season, and this year looks to be very busy. Fingers crossed no major hurricanes come this way. I’m one mile from the beach and half a mile from the intra coastal waterway.
My husband is fascinated by how I predict the upcoming hurricane season, by observing our sea grape trees. This year we have thousands of grapes on our tree, double the normal yield. And I knew it was gonna get crazy. Must have something to do with the barometric pressure.🤔
@@user-yr2fo5kv6z I brought this tree from a tropical state when it was a small baby to a colder state and it has grown to be the envy of the neighborhood! The white grapefruit tree has survived heavy snow and tough drought. Was thinking of matching it up with grapevines as well.
@@len8336 That’s weird. Last year my citrus was on the brink of death. Leaves were black and the limbs were dark. Gave it some extra TLC and it’s now returned to it’s former glory!

I have a white grapefruit tree that is weirdly dropping small seed-like fruits for the first time ever. 🌳 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋
@@gobeklipepe Yes, I just read an article about how increased atmospheric pressure, ramps up photosynthesis, and hence growth spurts.
