There's no right answer. You never know what has value. I do generally avoid fiction. I look for textbooks then scan nonfiction. For example, most cookbooks are worthless, but your next scan might be gold. I have noticed that books on weird or very specific topics tend to be valuable. Back to cookbooks, I found one for people with Crohn's disease worth a lot. If I'm coming up dry, I'll scan fiction and kid's books.
I shop at Goodwill a lot. Their price tags have a color they change each week. The tag also has the date. If I scanned all the orange for 14th to 21st, I'll only scan books with orange after 21st and (new color) tags next time.
Get know to the staff at your sources. That's how I learned about the tag colors and dates. Tell everyone you know what you're doing. My ex-wife gave me a bag of books when I picked up my daughter. I got some books from my neighborhood FB group. This way the books come to you.

Are you using Scout ID or can you just use amazon seller app?

I use ScoutIQ. You can use the Amazon app; however, it’ll take you a bit longer to scan.
